132 Bible Verses about Prosperity

There's a kind of prosperity that isn't of this world, not fleeting, that doesn't fade with time, but stays constant no matter what. It's the prosperity that comes from God, the kind that's eternal, the kind that isn't based on how much money you have, but on the growth of your inner self.

It's true that God wants you to prosper in every way, but this happens as your soul prospers, meaning, every time you overcome your fears and crises, you grow as a person and become better each day.

Joshua 1:8 says: "Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful." So many people prosper without having God in their hearts, but they don't enjoy that prosperity because they don't meditate on God's word. They prefer to stray from His commandments and statutes. In the end, they're just people who had a good run, but not the joy of living in freedom.

God doesn't want that for His children. That's why, before He makes you prosperous, He'll shape you so you don't lose yourself because of money, since "the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil." So, you need to walk according to the foundations the Father established in the Bible so you can live well and your path will be prosperous.

Love God above all else, let Him be first in your life, and He will be pleased with you, blessing everything you do, granting you favor with others, and His grace will be with you wherever you go.

Deuteronomy 8:18 reminds us: "But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today."

Prayer

Good and eternal God, Most High Lord! I praise you because you are righteous, holy, and worthy of all supreme praise and adoration. Father of glory, in Jesus' name I pray to you because I recognize that you have sustained me, that your hand has always provided for me, and that you are the one who empowers me to create wealth. Father, help me understand that you are a jealous God, that you do not share your glory with anyone, and that you created me to love and worship only you. Your word says, "For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich." Because of me, you came to earth and suffered so that I might prosper in all things. I ask that you give me the wisdom to manage my finances correctly, free me from vanity, arrogance, and selfishness, and help me understand that I should not be dominated by money, but with the help of your Holy Spirit, be the one who controls everything that comes into my hands, so that I can bring peace to my life and my family. Lord, I long for prosperity in everything I undertake. Bless me, Lord. Make me prosperous, that I may share all that I know, without fear or pride, with those who need my teachings and counsel. Help me to have a humble heart, dependent on you. Holy Spirit, keep my heart grateful, whatever my situation, both in abundance and in scarcity, and likewise, to be generous in helping others. In Jesus' name, Amen.
