Think about how amazing it would be to have complete peace and security in your life. That's what happens when you let the Holy Spirit be your guide – you tap into God's good, pleasing, and perfect will.
Following God's way brings so much joy and well-being. But honestly, sometimes our own thoughts and feelings try to pull us in a different direction, a direction that might not be the best for us. It's like our gut is telling us one thing, but deep down we know it's not quite right.
That's why it's so important to guard your thoughts and stay focused on God's guidance. We all make mistakes, right? Sometimes we rush into things that seem great at first, but end up leading us down a bad road. It's human nature.
The best way to protect your dreams and goals is to listen to that still, small voice of the Holy Spirit. Psalm 37:23-241 reminds us that the Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand. He's got us!
If you truly want to achieve your goals and find real fulfillment, you need to humbly acknowledge God in everything you do. Letting go of your own will and allowing God to order your steps is key. His divine direction is what leads to eternal life in heaven.
Jesus wants you to walk with Him, hand-in-hand, and learn from Him. Imagine the joy of seeing Jesus bless your life and everything you do, not just for yourself, but for everyone around you, too. That's what's waiting for you.
Make me understand your ways, O Lord! Teach me your paths!Guide me into your truth and teach me. For you are the God who delivers me; on you I rely all day long.
For I know what I have planned for you,’ says the Lord. ‘I have plans to prosper you, not to harm you. I have plans to give you a future filled with hope.
The Lord grants success to the one whose behavior he finds commendable.Even if he trips, he will not fall headlong, for the Lord holds his hand.
But if anyone is deficient in wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without reprimand, and it will be given to him.
Do not be anxious about anything. Instead, in every situation, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, tell your requests to God.And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Lord, lead me in your righteousness because of those who wait to ambush me, remove the obstacles in the way in which you are guiding me!
Teach me how you want me to live; lead me along a level path because of those who wait to ambush me!
Then they prayed, “Lord, you know the hearts of all. Show us which one of these two you have chosen
For you are my high ridge and my stronghold; for the sake of your own reputation you lead me and guide me.
The way of a fool is right in his own opinion, but the one who listens to advice is wise.
O Lord, teach me how you want me to live! Then I will obey your commands. Make me wholeheartedly committed to you!
May I hear about your loyal love in the morning, for I trust in you. Show me the way I should go, because I long for you.
This is what the Lord, your protector, says, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you how to succeed, who leads you in the way you should go.
Reveal your light and your faithfulness! They will lead me, they will escort me back to your holy hill, and to the place where you live.
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened for you.
I will praise the Lord who guides me; yes, during the night I reflect and learn.I constantly trust in the Lord; because he is at my right hand, I will not be upended.
Let the peace of Christ be in control in your heart (for you were in fact called as one body to this peace), and be thankful.
Examine me, and probe my thoughts! Test me, and know my concerns!See if there is any idolatrous tendency in me, and lead me in the reliable ancient path!
But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. For he will not speak on his own authority, but will speak whatever he hears, and will tell you what is to come.
Therefore I exhort you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a sacrifice – alive, holy, and pleasing to God – which is your reasonable service.Be devoted to one another with mutual love, showing eagerness in honoring one another.Do not lag in zeal, be enthusiastic in spirit, serve the Lord.Rejoice in hope, endure in suffering, persist in prayer.Contribute to the needs of the saints, pursue hospitality.Bless those who persecute you, bless and do not curse.Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep.Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty but associate with the lowly. “Moses my servant is dead. Get ready! Cross the Jordan River! Lead these people into the land which I am ready to hand over to them.
Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things that are freely given to us by God.
I will instruct and teach you about how you should live. I will advise you as I look you in the eye.
How can a young person maintain a pure life? By guarding it according to your instructions!
When there is no guidance a nation falls, but there is success in the abundance of counselors.
The righteous person is cautious in his friendship, but the way of the wicked leads them astray.
This is what the Lord says, the one who made a road through the sea, a pathway through the surging waters,the one who led chariots and horses to destruction, together with a mighty army. They fell down, never to rise again; they were extinguished, put out like a burning wick:“Don’t remember these earlier events; don’t recall these former events.“Look, I am about to do something new. Now it begins to happen! Do you not recognize it? Yes, I will make a road in the desert and paths in the wilderness.
There are many plans in a person’s mind, but it is the counsel of the Lord which will stand.
The one whose deeds are blameless and whose motives are pure, who does not lie, or make promises with no intention of keeping them.Such godly people are rewarded by the Lord, and vindicated by the God who delivers them.
Now without faith it is impossible to please him, for the one who approaches God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
For I am sure of this very thing, that the one who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.
I look up toward the hills. From where does my help come?My help comes from the Lord, the Creator of heaven and earth!
You loyal followers of the Lord, trust in the Lord! He is their deliverer and protector.
Do not be wise in your own estimation; fear the Lord and turn away from evil.This will bring healing to your body, and refreshment to your inner self.
But above all pursue his kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

The steps of a person are ordained by the Lord – so how can anyone understand his own way?
They do not thirst as he leads them through dry regions; he makes water flow out of a rock for them; he splits open a rock and water flows out.’
There is no wisdom and there is no understanding, and there is no counsel against the Lord.
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in him, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
For this reason we also, from the day we heard about you, have not ceased praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,
But if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous, forgiving us our sins and cleansing us from all unrighteousness.
The spirit of the sovereign Lord is upon me, because the Lord has chosen me. He has commissioned me to encourage the poor, to help the brokenhearted, to decree the release of captives, and the freeing of prisoners,I will greatly rejoice in the Lord; I will be overjoyed because of my God. For he clothes me in garments of deliverance; he puts on me a robe symbolizing vindication. I look like a bridegroom when he wears a turban as a priest would; I look like a bride when she puts on her jewelry.For just as the ground produces its crops and a garden yields its produce, so the sovereign Lord will cause deliverance to grow, and give his people reason to praise him in the sight of all the nations.to announce the year when the Lord will show his favor, the day when our God will seek vengeance, to console all who mourn,
Then you will call out, and the Lord will respond; you will cry out, and he will reply, ‘Here I am.’ You must remove the burdensome yoke from among you and stop pointing fingers and speaking sinfully.
The Lord takes delight in his faithful followers, and in those who wait for his loyal love.
Our God, will you not judge them? For we are powerless against this huge army that attacks us! We don’t know what we should do; we look to you for help.”
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, we must get rid of every weight and the sin that clings so closely, and run with endurance the race set out for us,
Look, the Lord takes notice of his loyal followers, those who wait for him to demonstrate his faithfulnessby saving their lives from death and sustaining them during times of famine.Give thanks to the Lord with the harp! Sing to him to the accompaniment of a ten-stringed instrument!We wait for the Lord; he is our deliverer and shield.For our hearts rejoice in him, for we trust in his holy name.May we experience your faithfulness, O Lord, for we wait for you.
Do you not know that if you present yourselves as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or obedience resulting in righteousness?
Therefore, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him,rooted and built up in him and firm in your faith just as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So the life I now live in the body, I live because of the faithfulness of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
And my God will supply your every need according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
There is a way that seems right to a person, but its end is the way that leads to death.
For all who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God.For you did not receive the spirit of slavery leading again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba, Father.”The Spirit himself bears witness to our spirit that we are God’s children.And if children, then heirs (namely, heirs of God and also fellow heirs with Christ) – if indeed we suffer with him so we may also be glorified with him.
Fearing the Lord is the beginning of moral knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Your loyal followers trust in you, for you, Lord, do not abandon those who seek your help.
I consider my actions and follow your rules.Then I would not be ashamed, if I were focused on all your commands.I keep your commands eagerly and without delay.
But those who wait for the Lord’s help find renewed strength; they rise up as if they had eagles’ wings, they run without growing weary, they walk without getting tired.
teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose,
You lead me in the path of life; I experience absolute joy in your presence; you always give me sheer delight.
I am with you! I will protect you wherever you go and will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I promised you!”
Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who obtains understanding.For her benefit is more profitable than silver, and her gain is better than gold.
Patiently wait for God alone, my soul! For he is the one who gives me confidence.He alone is my protector and deliverer. He is my refuge; I will not be upended.
for the one bringing forth in you both the desire and the effort – for the sake of his good pleasure – is God.
For no one can lay any foundation other than what is being laid, which is Jesus Christ.
By your loyal love you will lead the people whom you have redeemed; you will guide them by your strength to your holy dwelling place.
Teach me to do what pleases you, for you are my God. May your kind presence lead me into a level land.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding.Acknowledge him in all your ways, and he will make your paths straight.
You will hear a word spoken behind you, saying, “This is the correct way, walk in it,” whether you are heading to the right or the left.
The Lord will continually lead you; he will feed you even in parched regions. He will give you renewed strength, and you will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring that continually produces water.
I will give you leaders who will be faithful to me. They will lead you with knowledge and insight.
Whenever they hand you over for trial, do not worry about how to speak or what to say, for what you should say will be given to you at that time.Now these are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon (called Peter), and Andrew his brother; James son of Zebedee and John his brother;For it is not you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.
