107 Bible Verses about Justified by Faith

107 Bible Verses about Justified by Faith

Through Christ's blood, you are justified. There's no condemnation for you when you come to God with a repentant heart. Believe that when you ask Jesus for forgiveness, you receive His mercy, and your soul is freed from the final punishment meant for those who don't turn away from their wrongdoings.

It's important to remember that the devil will constantly try to bring up your past to keep you from moving forward. He'll bring back thoughts of things God has already forgiven, just to make you feel guilty.

Nothing you do earns God's love. He's so good that His love isn't based on your actions. He loved you before the creation of the world and sent His Son to die for you, pulling you out of darkness through His blood and establishing a relationship with you.

So, whenever Satan tries to intimidate you and pull you away from God's presence, stand firm. Declare that through Jesus' sacrifice, you are justified before the Father. The sin that's been haunting you is removed, making you righteous. The shame that tormented you is forgotten, and you are repositioned with Christ in heavenly places.

Romans 5:1 reminds us that, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, since we have been declared righteous by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, how much more, since we have been reconciled, will we be saved by his life? Not only this, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received this reconciliation. So then, just as sin entered the world through one man and death through sin, and so death spread to all people because all sinned –for before the law was given, sin was in the world, but there is no accounting for sin when there is no law.Yet death reigned from Adam until Moses even over those who did not sin in the same way that Adam (who is a type of the coming one) transgressed. But the gracious gift is not like the transgression. For if the many died through the transgression of the one man, how much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one man Jesus Christ multiply to the many! And the gift is not like the one who sinned. For judgment, resulting from the one transgression, led to condemnation, but the gracious gift from the many failures led to justification. For if, by the transgression of the one man, death reigned through the one, how much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ!Consequently, just as condemnation for all people came through one transgression, so too through the one righteous act came righteousness leading to life for all people. For just as through the disobedience of the one man many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of one man many will be made righteous.through whom we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of God’s glory.

Romans 8:1-2

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is your life because of righteousness. Moreover if the Spirit of the one who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, the one who raised Christ from the dead will also make your mortal bodies alive through his Spirit who lives in you.So then, brothers and sisters, we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh(for if you live according to the flesh, you will die), but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God.For you did not receive the spirit of slavery leading again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba, Father.”The Spirit himself bears witness to our spirit that we are God’s children. And if children, then heirs (namely, heirs of God and also fellow heirs with Christ) – if indeed we suffer with him so we may also be glorified with him.For I consider that our present sufferings cannot even be compared to the glory that will be revealed to us.For the creation eagerly waits for the revelation of the sons of God.For the law of the life-giving Spirit in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.

Romans 8:1-4

For the creation was subjected to futility – not willingly but because of God who subjected it – in hopethat the creation itself will also be set free from the bondage of decay into the glorious freedom of God’s children. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers together until now.Not only this, but we ourselves also, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we eagerly await our adoption, the redemption of our bodies. For in hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope, because who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with endurance. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness, for we do not know how we should pray, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with inexpressible groanings. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes on behalf of the saints according to God’s will. And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose, because those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. For God achieved what the law could not do because it was weakened through the flesh. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and concerning sin, he condemned sin in the flesh,And those he predestined, he also called; and those he called, he also justified; and those he justified, he also glorified. What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?Indeed, he who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all – how will he not also, along with him, freely give us all things?Who will bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.Who is the one who will condemn? Christ is the one who died (and more than that, he was raised), who is at the right hand of God, and who also is interceding for us.Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will trouble, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, “For your sake we encounter death all day long; we were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”No, in all these things we have complete victory through him who loved us!For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor heavenly rulers, nor things that are present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.so that the righteous requirement of the law may be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Colossians 3:1-3

Therefore, if you have been raised with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.and have been clothed with the new man that is being renewed in knowledge according to the image of the one who created it.Here there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all and in all. Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with a heart of mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if someone happens to have a complaint against anyone else. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also forgive others. And to all these virtues add love, which is the perfect bond.Let the peace of Christ be in control in your heart (for you were in fact called as one body to this peace), and be thankful.Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and exhorting one another with all wisdom, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, all with grace in your hearts to God.And whatever you do in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.Husbands, love your wives and do not be embittered against them.Keep thinking about things above, not things on the earth,Children, obey your parents in everything, for this is pleasing in the Lord.Fathers, do not provoke your children, so they will not become disheartened.Slaves, obey your earthly masters in every respect, not only when they are watching – like those who are strictly people-pleasers – but with a sincere heart, fearing the Lord.Whatever you are doing, work at it with enthusiasm, as to the Lord and not for people, because you know that you will receive your inheritance from the Lord as the reward. Serve the Lord Christ. For the one who does wrong will be repaid for his wrong, and there are no exceptions.for you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

Romans 5:1-5

Now the law came in so that the transgression may increase, but where sin increased, grace multiplied all the more,so that just as sin reigned in death, so also grace will reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Not only this, but we also rejoice in sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance, character, and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Prayer

Almighty God, miracle-working God, the one who can do all things, the creator of the heavens, the earth, the sea, and everything in them, I acknowledge your power and majesty, my beloved Lord. In Jesus' name, I pray to you, God, because you delivered me from eternal death, you gave me life, and you will give me a future better than I can imagine. You chose me even before I was born, and your eyes saw my unformed body as I was being knit together in my mother's womb. I surrender completely to you; examine my heart and see if there is any deceit or crooked ways in me, and make my paths straight. I don't come to you trusting in my own righteousness, but in your abundant mercies, which are everlasting and are renewed over me every morning. I love you for the immensity of your goodness. Keep rebellion far from me, and cleanse me from my sins. Your word says, "Who can understand their own errors? Cleanse me from secret faults. Keep back your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then I will be blameless, innocent of great transgression." Guard me from boasting, from praising myself with my own lips; deliver me from arrogance. You justified me through your son, Jesus. By his blood, I am cleansed and made whole. He is my liberator and my master, therefore I am nothing without him, and my life depends completely on your love, Lord. Thank you, in Jesus' name, Amen.
