Faith is a gift. It doesn't depend on what's happening around you or what you see, but on believing in God's word. Romans 10:17 says, "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." That's why the best way to grow your faith is by listening to what comes from God.
It's important to listen not just with your physical ears, but with your heart too, paying attention to the voice of the Holy Spirit. The world is always going to throw negativity your way and try to discourage you, making things seem impossible. But you can strengthen your mind and heart by keeping your focus on God's word.

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for, being convinced of what we do not see.For he was looking forward to the city with firm foundations, whose architect and builder is God.By faith, even though Sarah herself was barren and he was too old, he received the ability to procreate, because he regarded the one who had given the promise to be trustworthy.So in fact children were fathered by one man – and this one as good as dead – like the number of stars in the sky and like the innumerable grains of sand on the seashore.These all died in faith without receiving the things promised, but they saw them in the distance and welcomed them and acknowledged that they were strangers and foreigners on the earth.For those who speak in such a way make it clear that they are seeking a homeland.In fact, if they had been thinking of the land that they had left, they would have had opportunity to return.But as it is, they aspire to a better land, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore, God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac. He had received the promises, yet he was ready to offer up his only son.God had told him, “Through Isaac descendants will carry on your name,”and he reasoned that God could even raise him from the dead, and in a sense he received him back from there.For by it the people of old received God’s commendation.
Certainly none who rely on you will be humiliated. Those who deal in treachery will be thwarted and humiliated.

Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why couldn’t we cast it out?”And he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became white as light.He told them, “It was because of your little faith. And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose,
Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the sanctuary by the blood of Jesus,For otherwise would they not have ceased to be offered, since the worshipers would have been purified once for all and so have no further consciousness of sin?by the fresh and living way that he inaugurated for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh,and since we have a great priest over the house of God,let us draw near with a sincere heart in the assurance that faith brings, because we have had our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed in pure water.

Therefore, since we have been declared righteous by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, how much more, since we have been reconciled, will we be saved by his life?Not only this, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received this reconciliation.So then, just as sin entered the world through one man and death through sin, and so death spread to all people because all sinned –for before the law was given, sin was in the world, but there is no accounting for sin when there is no law.Yet death reigned from Adam until Moses even over those who did not sin in the same way that Adam (who is a type of the coming one) transgressed.But the gracious gift is not like the transgression. For if the many died through the transgression of the one man, how much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one man Jesus Christ multiply to the many!And the gift is not like the one who sinned. For judgment, resulting from the one transgression, led to condemnation, but the gracious gift from the many failures led to justification.For if, by the transgression of the one man, death reigned through the one, how much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ!Consequently, just as condemnation for all people came through one transgression, so too through the one righteous act came righteousness leading to life for all people.For just as through the disobedience of the one man many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of one man many will be made righteous.through whom we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of God’s glory.
yet we know that no one is justified by the works of the law but by the faithfulness of Jesus Christ. And we have come to believe in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by the faithfulness of Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.
For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God;
This brings you great joy, although you may have to suffer for a short time in various trials.Such trials show the proven character of your faith, which is much more valuable than gold – gold that is tested by fire, even though it is passing away – and will bring praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
