VERSES ABOUT PETITIONS

VERSES ABOUT PETITIONS

Let's bring all those requests to God in prayer. Psalm 37:4 says, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." God tells us that if we come to Him and pray according to His will, He will hear us. And when He hears us, we'll know we have the answer we've asked for.

One of God's most beautiful promises is found in Psalm 37. When you pray, focus on God, not your problems. Talk to Him, trusting that He hears you and knowing that His power is over everything. This way, you acknowledge God as the center of your life, and your prayer will be heard.

Even if it feels like God isn't listening, never stop praying. Sometimes, God becomes a shoulder to cry on, not necessarily to take away our problems, but for us to vent. Our prayers can be filled with complaints, anger, even rage, but we rarely tell God that we trust Him, that He knows our problems and can fix them.

Your Heavenly Father loves you, and in His time, He will answer those requests. Remember, God's timing is perfect. You can find many verses in the Bible about bringing your requests to God. Read them and grow your faith every day. God bless you.

To learn wisdom and moral instruction, and to discern wise counsel.Wisdom calls out in the street, she shouts loudly in the plazas;at the head of the noisy streets she calls, in the entrances of the gates in the city she utters her words:“How long will you simpletons love naiveté? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge? If only you will respond to my rebuke, then I will pour out my thoughts to you and I will make my words known to you. However, because I called but you refused to listen, because I stretched out my hand but no one paid attention, because you neglected all my advice, and did not comply with my rebuke,so I myself will laugh when disaster strikes you, I will mock when what you dread comes, when what you dread comes like a whirlwind, and disaster strikes you like a devastating storm, when distressing trouble comes on you. Then they will call to me, but I will not answer; they will diligently seek me, but they will not find me.Because they hated moral knowledge, and did not choose to fear the Lord,To receive moral instruction in skillful living, in righteousness, justice, and equity.they did not comply with my advice, they spurned all my rebuke. Therefore they will eat from the fruit of their way, and they will be stuffed full of their own counsel. For the waywardness of the simpletons will kill them, and the careless ease of fools will destroy them. But the one who listens to me will live in security, and will be at ease from the dread of harm.To impart shrewdness to the morally naive, and a discerning plan to the young person.

My heart spurned reproof! For I did not obey my teachers and I did not heed my instructors.I almost came to complete ruin in the midst of the whole congregation!”Drink water from your own cistern and running water from your own well.Should your springs be dispersed outside, your streams of water in the wide plazas?Let them be for yourself alone, and not for strangers with you.May your fountain be blessed, and may you rejoice in your young wife –a loving doe, a graceful deer; may her breasts satisfy you at all times, may you be captivated by her love always.in order to safeguard discretion, and that your lips may guard knowledge.

Prayer

My God, my King, You are the Alpha and the Omega! Father, You are the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. I bless You, I give You honor, glory, and praise, because You are good and Your greatness is beyond measure. Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray to You, the Almighty, the Creator of the heavens, the earth, the sea, and everything in them. I acknowledge Your power and majesty. Your word says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I bring this prayer before You. Examine my heart, Lord, and see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. I don't come to You trusting in my own righteousness, but in Your great mercies, which are eternal and forever. I claim Your promises over my life and my family this day. I believe what Your word says, that if we humble ourselves and seek Your face and turn from our wicked ways, then You will hear from heaven, and will forgive our sin and heal our land. I lift up my home, my children, my finances, my emotions, my health, everything. I lay all my desires, requests, longings, and worries before You, believing that You will answer because You are a covenant-keeping God who fulfills His promises. In Jesus' name, Amen.
