125 Bible verses about Restoration

125 Bible verses about Restoration

Life can feel overwhelming sometimes, right? Like everything's falling apart. But I want you to know, deep down, that God is the source of all life, and He has the power to change any circumstance. His thoughts toward you are good, His plan for you is perfect, and His love for you is immense.

No matter what you're going through right now, God isn't limited by it. He can and will bless you and help you. In His eyes, you are someone truly special. Even if it feels like your world is in pieces, He will restore you. He'll lift you up, dust you off, and you will shine because of His mercy.

What seems lost and hopeless right now will be transformed into joy by the infinite power of Jesus. Cry out to God. Ask for His intervention. Don't doubt that His grace empowers you to do, through Him, what you can't do on your own. You won't fight alone. Jesus will fight with you, and in His name, everything around you will be restored by the Holy Spirit.

What seemed unsolvable will become a work of art. What seemed impossible to change will be admired for the wonders it reveals. God will begin a process of restoration in you. It might be painful at first, but even when you walk through fire, He will not abandon you. As Psalm 80:31 says, "Restore us, O God; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved.”

Ecclesiastes 3:1-4

For everything there is an appointed time, and an appropriate time for every activity on earth:I have observed the burden that God has given to people to keep them occupied.God has made everything fit beautifully in its appropriate time, but he has also placed ignorance in the human heart so that people cannot discover what God has ordained, from the beginning to the end of their lives.I have concluded that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to enjoy themselves as long as they live, and also that everyone should eat and drink, and find enjoyment in all his toil, for these things are a gift from God.I also know that whatever God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it, and nothing taken away from it. God has made it this way, so that men will fear him.Whatever exists now has already been, and whatever will be has already been; for God will seek to do again what has occurred in the past.I saw something else on earth: In the place of justice, there was wickedness, and in the place of fairness, there was wickedness.I thought to myself, “God will judge both the righteous and the wicked; for there is an appropriate time for every activity, and there is a time of judgment for every deed.I also thought to myself, “It is for the sake of people, so God can clearly show them that they are like animals. For the fate of humans and the fate of animals are the same: As one dies, so dies the other; both have the same breath. There is no advantage for humans over animals, for both are fleeting.A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to uproot what was planted; Both go to the same place, both come from the dust, and to dust both return.Who really knows if the human spirit ascends upward, and the animal’s spirit descends into the earth? So I perceived there is nothing better than for people to enjoy their work, because that is their reward; for who can show them what the future holds?A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is your life because of righteousness. Moreover if the Spirit of the one who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, the one who raised Christ from the dead will also make your mortal bodies alive through his Spirit who lives in you.So then, brothers and sisters, we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh(for if you live according to the flesh, you will die), but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God.For you did not receive the spirit of slavery leading again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba, Father.”The Spirit himself bears witness to our spirit that we are God’s children. And if children, then heirs (namely, heirs of God and also fellow heirs with Christ) – if indeed we suffer with him so we may also be glorified with him.For I consider that our present sufferings cannot even be compared to the glory that will be revealed to us.For the creation eagerly waits for the revelation of the sons of God.For the law of the life-giving Spirit in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.

Therefore, since we have been declared righteous by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, how much more, since we have been reconciled, will we be saved by his life? Not only this, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received this reconciliation. So then, just as sin entered the world through one man and death through sin, and so death spread to all people because all sinned –for before the law was given, sin was in the world, but there is no accounting for sin when there is no law.Yet death reigned from Adam until Moses even over those who did not sin in the same way that Adam (who is a type of the coming one) transgressed. But the gracious gift is not like the transgression. For if the many died through the transgression of the one man, how much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one man Jesus Christ multiply to the many! And the gift is not like the one who sinned. For judgment, resulting from the one transgression, led to condemnation, but the gracious gift from the many failures led to justification. For if, by the transgression of the one man, death reigned through the one, how much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ!Consequently, just as condemnation for all people came through one transgression, so too through the one righteous act came righteousness leading to life for all people. For just as through the disobedience of the one man many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of one man many will be made righteous.through whom we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of God’s glory.

Colossians 3:1-2

Therefore, if you have been raised with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.and have been clothed with the new man that is being renewed in knowledge according to the image of the one who created it.Here there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all and in all. Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with a heart of mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if someone happens to have a complaint against anyone else. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also forgive others. And to all these virtues add love, which is the perfect bond.Let the peace of Christ be in control in your heart (for you were in fact called as one body to this peace), and be thankful.Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and exhorting one another with all wisdom, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, all with grace in your hearts to God.And whatever you do in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.Husbands, love your wives and do not be embittered against them.Keep thinking about things above, not things on the earth,

Prayer

Oh Lord, You are the Alpha and the Omega! Father, creator of heaven and earth, You are the first and the last, the beginning and the end. In Jesus' name, I come before You, asking You to restore my whole being, heal my heart, and set me free, for I feel wounded, alone, and discouraged. Father, You created heaven and earth; You know the depths of all that exists. Only You can search my heart and know exactly what I'm suffering. You are my refuge, my healer, and my sustainer. That's why I cry out to You to restore my life, to free me from this affliction that troubles my soul. I ask for Your forgiveness, my God, for the resentment and pain that I allowed to take root in my heart. I pray that You uproot everything that displeases You and purify me so that my prayer is acceptable in Your sight. Lord, I place my body, soul, mind, and heart in Your hands. Cleanse me with Your blood. Help me to experience love and forgiveness toward those who have hurt me. Renew my mind with Your word and bring the light of Your presence into my darkness, Lord. Your word says, "He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." I trust in You, Jesus, and I know that even if Your answer is delayed, I will see Your goodness while I live. Thank you because You are my healer, my provider, and my keeper. You are the one who fights my battles and the one who leads me from glory to glory. In the powerful name of Jesus. In Jesus' name, Amen.
