INTERCESSION VERSES
Intercession is powerful when we do it with God's power. It's about stepping into someone else's shoes and really feeling their struggles. To intercede effectively, you need perseverance, faith, and a holy prayer life. It's about bringing your loved one's needs before God and asking for His divine intervention.
As someone who intercedes, it's important to stay grounded in God's Word. You should be watchful and prayerful. Humility is key – avoid rebellion, pride, and arrogance. Remember to honor God through your tithes and offerings.
Intercession is an act of love, filled with heartfelt pleas and groans before God. You're pleading for someone else's life, their well-being. Sometimes, you might even feel their pain and needs deeply. It's like Paul says in Ephesians 6:18, "And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens.
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness, for we do not know how we should pray, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with inexpressible groanings.
‘Call on me in prayer and I will answer you. I will show you great and mysterious things which you still do not know about.’

The night has advanced toward dawn; the day is near. So then we must lay aside the works of darkness, and put on the weapons of light.Let us live decently as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in discord and jealousy.Instead, put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh to arouse its desires.
Finally, be strengthened in the Lord and in the strength of his power.Clothe yourselves with the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens.
Again, I tell you the truth, if two of you on earth agree about whatever you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you.
So Moses returned to the Lord and said, “Alas, this people has committed a very serious sin, and they have made for themselves gods of gold.But now, if you will forgive their sin…, but if not, wipe me out from your book that you have written.”
Do not be anxious about anything. Instead, in every situation, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, tell your requests to God.

If I have found favor in your sight then do not let me see my trouble.”The Lord said to Moses, “Gather to me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know are elders of the people and officials over them, and bring them to the tent of meeting; let them take their position there with you.Then I will come down and speak with you there, and I will take part of the spirit that is on you, and will put it on them, and they will bear some of the burden of the people with you, so that you do not bear it all by yourself.“And say to the people, ‘Sanctify yourselves for tomorrow, and you will eat meat, for you have wept in the hearing of the Lord, saying, “Who will give us meat to eat, for life was good for us in Egypt?” Therefore the Lord will give you meat, and you will eat.You will eat, not just one day, nor two days, nor five days, nor ten days, nor twenty days,When the people cried to Moses, he prayed to the Lord, and the fire died out.
Compete well for the faith and lay hold of that eternal life you were called for and made your good confession for in the presence of many witnesses.

and by not being intimidated in any way by your opponents. This is a sign of their destruction, but of your salvation – a sign which is from God.

Then I saw heaven opened and here came a white horse! The one riding it was called “Faithful” and “True,” and with justice he judges and goes to war.His eyes are like a fiery flame and there are many diadem crowns on his head. He has a name written that no one knows except himself.He is dressed in clothing dipped in blood, and he is called the Word of God.The armies that are in heaven, dressed in white, clean, fine linen, were following him on white horses.From his mouth extends a sharp sword, so that with it he can strike the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod, and he stomps the winepress of the furious wrath of God, the All-Powerful.He has a name written on his clothing and on his thigh: “King of kings and Lord of lords.”
