Hey there, I just wanted to remind you that God equips you to handle every tough situation. We often think we're not ready for the challenges life throws our way, but that's just not true. God always prepares us. His word tells us He hasn't given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-discipline. So take heart, knowing God is right there with you, fighting for you in every battle.
Use those tools God has given you through His word and the Holy Spirit. Be brave and take firm, confident steps. "Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord." (Psalm 31:24) So cheer up! God never fails.
He's your strength, your deliverer, your helper, your shield, your strong refuge. Trust in your Heavenly Father; everything will be alright. "It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure." (2 Samuel 22:33)
I repeat, be strong and brave! Don’t be afraid and don’t panic, for I, the Lord your God, am with you in all you do.”
Be strong and courageous! Do not fear or tremble before them, for the Lord your God is the one who is going with you. He will not fail you or abandon you!”
The Lord delivers and vindicates me! I fear no one! The Lord protects my life! I am afraid of no one!
Don’t be afraid, for I am with you! Don’t be frightened, for I am your God! I strengthen you – yes, I help you – yes, I uphold you with my saving right hand!
Even when I must walk through the darkest valley, I fear no danger, for you are with me; your rod and your staff reassure me.
David said to his son Solomon: “Be strong and brave! Do it! Don’t be afraid and don’t panic! For the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not leave you or abandon you before all the work for the service of the Lord’s temple is finished.
When I am afraid, I trust in you.In God – I boast in his promise – in God I trust, I am not afraid. What can mere men do to me?
I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble and suffering, but take courage – I have conquered the world.”
So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper, and I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?”
God is our strong refuge; he is truly our helper in times of trouble.He says, “Stop your striving and recognize that I am God! I will be exalted over the nations! I will be exalted over the earth!”The Lord who commands armies is on our side! The God of Jacob is our protector! (Selah)For this reason we do not fear when the earth shakes, and the mountains tumble into the depths of the sea,
Moses said to the people, “Do not fear! Stand firm and see the salvation of the Lord that he will provide for you today; for the Egyptians that you see today you will never, ever see again.The Lord will fight for you, and you can be still.”
When you pass through the waters, I am with you; when you pass through the streams, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not harm you.
The wicked person flees when there is no one pursuing, but the righteous person is as confident as a lion.
Be strong! Let’s fight bravely for the sake of our people and the cities of our God! The Lord will do what he decides is best!”
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding.Acknowledge him in all your ways, and he will make your paths straight.
As for you, the one who lives in the shelter of the sovereign One, and resides in the protective shadow of the mighty king –No harm will overtake you; no illness will come near your home.For he will order his angels to protect you in all you do.They will lift you up in their hands, so you will not slip and fall on a stone.You will subdue a lion and a snake; you will trample underfoot a young lion and a serpent.The Lord says, “Because he is devoted to me, I will deliver him; I will protect him because he is loyal to me.When he calls out to me, I will answer him. I will be with him when he is in trouble; I will rescue him and bring him honor.I will satisfy him with long life, and will let him see my salvation.I say this about the Lord, my shelter and my stronghold, my God in whom I trust –
Tell those who panic, “Be strong! Do not fear! Look, your God comes to avenge! With divine retribution he comes to deliver you.”
The Lord is indeed going before you – he will be with you; he will not fail you or abandon you. Do not be afraid or discouraged!”
There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears punishment has not been perfected in love.
The name of the Lord is like a strong tower; the righteous person runs to it and is set safely on high.
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in him, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
He alone is my protector and deliverer. He is my refuge; I will not be upended.God delivers me and exalts me; God is my strong protector and my shelter.Trust in him at all times, you people! Pour out your hearts before him! God is our shelter! (Selah)
The Lord, my protector, deserves praise – the one who trains my hands for battle, and my fingers for war,the one who delivers kings, and rescued David his servant from a deadly sword.Grab me and rescue me from the power of foreigners, who speak lies, and make false promises.Then our sons will be like plants, that quickly grow to full size. Our daughters will be like corner pillars, carved like those in a palace.Our storehouses will be full, providing all kinds of food. Our sheep will multiply by the thousands and fill our pastures.Our cattle will be weighted down with produce. No one will break through our walls, no one will be taken captive, and there will be no terrified cries in our city squares.How blessed are the people who experience these things! How blessed are the people whose God is the Lord!who loves me and is my stronghold, my refuge and my deliverer, my shield and the one in whom I take shelter, who makes nations submit to me.
Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Instead, fear the one who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Look, God is my deliverer! I will trust in him and not fear. For the Lord gives me strength and protects me; he has become my deliverer.”
Not only this, but we also rejoice in sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,and endurance, character, and character, hope.
Finally, be strengthened in the Lord and in the strength of his power.Clothe yourselves with the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
And let us hold unwaveringly to the hope that we confess, for the one who made the promise is trustworthy.
Even when an army is deployed against me, I do not fear. Even when war is imminent, I remain confident.
“Be strong and brave! Don’t be afraid and don’t panic because of the king of Assyria and this huge army that is with him! We have with us one who is stronger than those who are with him.He has with him mere human strength, but the Lord our God is with us to help us and fight our battles!” The army was encouraged by the words of King Hezekiah of Judah.
“I, I am the one who consoles you. Why are you afraid of mortal men, of mere human beings who are as short-lived as grass?Why do you forget the Lord, who made you, who stretched out the sky and founded the earth? Why do you constantly tremble all day long at the anger of the oppressor, when he makes plans to destroy? Where is the anger of the oppressor?
No trial has overtaken you that is not faced by others. And God is faithful: He will not let you be tried beyond what you are able to bear, but with the trial will also provide a way out so that you may be able to endure it.
You are my hiding place; you protect me from distress. You surround me with shouts of joy from those celebrating deliverance. (Selah)I will instruct and teach you about how you should live. I will advise you as I look you in the eye.
and by not being intimidated in any way by your opponents. This is a sign of their destruction, but of your salvation – a sign which is from God.
Some trust in chariots and others in horses, but we depend on the Lord our God.They will fall down, but we will stand firm.
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor heavenly rulers, nor things that are present, nor things to come, nor powers,nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
No weapon forged to be used against you will succeed; you will refute everyone who tries to accuse you. This is what the Lord will do for his servants – I will vindicate them,” says the Lord.
I relied completely on the Lord, and he turned toward me and heard my cry for help.I have not failed to tell about your justice; I spoke about your reliability and deliverance; I have not neglected to tell the great assembly about your loyal love and faithfulness.O Lord, you do not withhold your compassion from me. May your loyal love and faithfulness continually protect me!For innumerable dangers surround me. Aha!” be humiliated and disgraced!May all those who seek you be happy and rejoice in you! May those who love to experience your deliverance say continually, “May the Lord be praised!”I am oppressed and needy! May the Lord pay attention to me! You are my helper and my deliverer! O my God, do not delay!He lifted me out of the watery pit, out of the slimy mud. He placed my feet on a rock and gave me secure footing.He gave me reason to sing a new song, praising our God. May many see what God has done, so that they might swear allegiance to him and trust in the Lord!
So then, dear brothers and sisters, be firm. Do not be moved! Always be outstanding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
His resolve is firm; he will not succumb to fear before he looks in triumph on his enemies.
The one true God acts in a faithful manner; the Lord’s promise is reliable; he is a shield to all who take shelter in him.Indeed, who is God besides the Lord? Who is a protector besides our God?The one true God is my mighty refuge; he removes the obstacles in my way.
in whom we have boldness and confident access to God because of Christ’s faithfulness.
I look up toward the hills. From where does my help come?My help comes from the Lord, the Creator of heaven and earth!
You will not be afraid of sudden disaster, or when destruction overtakes the wicked;for the Lord will be the source of your confidence, and he will guard your foot from being caught in a trap.
For the Lord God is our sovereign protector. The Lord bestows favor and honor; he withholds no good thing from those who have integrity.O Lord who rules over all, how blessed are those who trust in you!
But in fact, if you happen to suffer for doing what is right, you are blessed. But do not be terrified of them or be shaken.
The Lord is my high ridge, my stronghold, my deliverer. My God is my rocky summit where I take shelter, my shield, the horn that saves me, and my refuge.
Throw your burden upon the Lord, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the godly to be upended.
And this is the confidence that we have before him: that whenever we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; I do not give it to you as the world does. Do not let your hearts be distressed or lacking in courage.
He said: “Pay attention, all you people of Judah, residents of Jerusalem, and King Jehoshaphat! This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Don’t be afraid and don’t panic because of this huge army! For the battle is not yours, but God’s.
For I am the Lord your God, the one who takes hold of your right hand, who says to you, ‘Don’t be afraid, I am helping you.’
We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, sure and steadfast, which reaches inside behind the curtain,
Lord, you have heard the request of the oppressed; you make them feel secure because you listen to their prayer.You defend the fatherless and oppressed, so that mere mortals may no longer terrorize them.
He says, “Stop your striving and recognize that I am God! I will be exalted over the nations! I will be exalted over the earth!”
Indeed, you are my lamp, Lord. The Lord illumines the darkness around me.My God is my rocky summit where I take shelter, my shield, the horn that saves me, my stronghold, my refuge, my savior. You save me from violence!Indeed,with your help I can charge against an army; by my God’s power I can jump over a wall.
You are from God, little children, and have conquered them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
he will certainly rescue you from the snare of the hunter and from the destructive plague.He will shelter you with his wings; you will find safety under his wings. His faithfulness is like a shield or a protective wall.
You keep completely safe the people who maintain their faith, for they trust in you.Trust in the Lord from this time forward, even in Yah, the Lord, an enduring protector!
Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive it, so that your joy may be complete.
You need not fear the terrors of the night, the arrow that flies by day,the plague that comes in the darkness, or the disease that comes at noon.Though a thousand may fall beside you, and a multitude on your right side, it will not reach you.
– since the eyes of your heart have been enlightened – so that you may know what is the hope of his calling, what is the wealth of his glorious inheritance in the saints,and what is the incomparable greatness of his power toward us who believe, as displayed in the exercise of his immense strength.
The one true God gives me strength; he removes the obstacles in my way.He gives me the agility of a deer; he enables me to negotiate the rugged terrain.He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend even the strongest bow.
And, after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace who called you to his eternal glory in Christ will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself to have attained this. Instead I am single-minded: Forgetting the things that are behind and reaching out for the things that are ahead,with this goal in mind, I strive toward the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
for the Lord your God goes with you to fight on your behalf against your enemies to give you victory.”
So do not throw away your confidence, because it has great reward.For you need endurance in order to do God’s will and so receive what is promised.
And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose,
Jesus looked at them and replied, “This is impossible for mere humans, but for God all things are possible.”
Therefore we do not despair, but even if our physical body is wearing away, our inner person is being renewed day by day.For our momentary, light suffering is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparisonbecause we are not looking at what can be seen but at what cannot be seen. For what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal.
As a mother consoles a child, so I will console you, and you will be consoled over Jerusalem.”
Dear friends, do not be astonished that a trial by fire is occurring among you, as though something strange were happening to you.But rejoice in the degree that you have shared in the sufferings of Christ, so that when his glory is revealed you may also rejoice and be glad.
‘Oh, Lord God, you did indeed make heaven and earth by your mighty power and great strength. Nothing is too hard for you!
For you did not receive the spirit of slavery leading again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba, Father.”
Even when I must walk in the midst of danger, you revive me. You oppose my angry enemies, and your right hand delivers me.The Lord avenges me. O Lord, your loyal love endures. Do not abandon those whom you have made!
So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me, a prisoner for his sake, but by God’s power accept your share of suffering for the gospel.
Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion; it cannot be upended and will endure forever.As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people, now and forevermore.
In God – I boast in his promise – in the Lord – I boast in his promise –in God I trust, I am not afraid. What can mere men do to me?
The Lord is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation. This is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.
But the sovereign Lord helps me, so I am not humiliated. For that reason I am steadfastly resolved; I know I will not be put to shame.
Stay alert, stand firm in the faith, show courage, be strong.Everything you do should be done in love.
He delivered us from so great a risk of death, and he will deliver us. We have set our hope on him that he will deliver us yet again,
Do not be anxious about anything. Instead, in every situation, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, tell your requests to God.And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
For you give me confidence, O Lord; O Lord, I have trusted in you since I was young.I have leaned on you since birth; you pulled me from my mother’s womb. I praise you continually.

David went on to say, “The Lord who delivered me from the lion and the bear will also deliver me from the hand of this Philistine!” Then Saul said to David, “Go! The Lord will be with you.”
Lord, be merciful to us! We wait for you. Give us strength each morning! Deliver us when distress comes.
Do not be afraid of those to whom I send you, for I will be with you to protect you,” says the Lord.
The fear of people becomes a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord will be set on high.
Surely your goodness and faithfulness will pursue me all my days, and I will live in the Lord’s house for the rest of my life.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in me – and I in him – bears much fruit, because apart from me you can accomplish nothing.
For we are his workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works that God prepared beforehand so we may do them.
My flesh and my heart may grow weak, but God always protects my heart and gives me stability.
When they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and discovered that they were uneducated and ordinary men, they were amazed and recognized these men had been with Jesus.
He will surely give me shelter in the day of danger; he will hide me in his home; he will place me on an inaccessible rocky summit.

I call you by name, you are mine.You are my witnesses,” says the Lord, “my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may consider and believe in me, and understand that I am he. No god was formed before me, and none will outlive me.I, I am the Lord, and there is no deliverer besides me.I decreed and delivered and proclaimed, and there was no other god among you. You are my witnesses,” says the Lord, “that I am God.From this day forward I am he; no one can deliver from my power; I will act, and who can prevent it?”This is what the Lord says, your protector, the Holy One of Israel: “For your sake I send to Babylon and make them all fugitives, turning the Babylonians’ joyful shouts into mourning songs.I am the Lord, your Holy One, the one who created Israel, your king.”This is what the Lord says, the one who made a road through the sea, a pathway through the surging waters,the one who led chariots and horses to destruction, together with a mighty army. He calmed the storm, and the waves grew silent.and gathered from foreign lands, from east and west, from north and south.The sailors rejoiced because the waves grew quiet, and he led them to the harbor they desired.
The Lord protects the untrained; I was in serious trouble and he delivered me.Rest once more, my soul, for the Lord has vindicated you.
May he not allow your foot to slip! May your protector not sleep!Look! Israel’s protector does not sleep or slumber!The Lord is your protector; the Lord is the shade at your right hand.
And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
He takes me to lush pastures, he leads me to refreshing water.He restores my strength. He leads me down the right paths for the sake of his reputation.
Be strong! Let’s fight bravely for the sake of our people and the cities of our God! The Lord will do what he decides is best!”
The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain before the Lord. Look, the Lord is ready to pass by.” A very powerful wind went before the Lord, digging into the mountain and causing landslides, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the windstorm there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake.After the earthquake, there was a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. After the fire, there was a soft whisper.
Moses said to the people, “Do not fear, for God has come to test you, that the fear of him may be before you so that you do not sin.”
So I responded to you, “Do not be terrified of them!However, it was not until the first day of the eleventh month of the fortieth year that Moses addressed the Israelites just as the Lord had instructed him to do.The Lord your God is about to go ahead of you; he will fight for you, just as you saw him do in Egypt
keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith. For the joy set out for him he endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of God.For they could not bear what was commanded: “If even an animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned.”In fact, the scene was so terrifying that Moses said, “I shudder with fear.”But you have come to Mount Zion, the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, to the assemblyand congregation of the firstborn, who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous, who have been made perfect,and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks of something better than Abel’s does.Take care not to refuse the one who is speaking! For if they did not escape when they refused the one who warned them on earth, how much less shall we, if we reject the one who warns from heaven?Then his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “I will once more shake not only the earth but heaven too.”Now this phrase “once more” indicates the removal of what is shaken, that is, of created things, so that what is unshaken may remain.So since we are receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us give thanks, and through this let us offer worship pleasing to God in devotion and awe.For our God is indeed a devouring fire.Think of him who endured such opposition against himself by sinners, so that you may not grow weary in your souls and give up.
The Lord strengthens and protects me; I trust in him with all my heart. I am rescued and my heart is full of joy; I will sing to him in gratitude.
In the fear of the Lord one has strong confidence, and it will be a refuge for his children.
Listen to me, you who know what is right, you people who are aware of my law! Don’t be afraid of the insults of men; don’t be discouraged because of their abuse!For a moth will eat away at them like clothes; a clothes moth will devour them like wool. But the vindication I provide will be permanent; the deliverance I give will last.”

The everlasting God is a refuge, and underneath you are his eternal arms; he has driven out enemies before you, and has said, “Destroy!”
