² H2708This is the ordinanceH8451of the lawH3068which the LORDH6680hath commanded[H8765] H559, saying[H8800] H1696, Speak[H8761] H1121unto the childrenH3478of IsraelH3947, that they bring[H8799] H122thee a redH6510heiferH8549without spotH3971, wherein is no blemishH3808, and upon which neverH5927came[H8804] H5923yoke:

³ H5414And ye shall give[H8804] H499her unto EleazarH3548the priestH3318, that he may bring her forth[H8689] H2351withoutH4264the campH7819, and one shall slay[H8804] H6440her before his face:

⁴ H499And EleazarH3548the priestH3947shall take[H8804] H1818of her bloodH676with his fingerH5137, and sprinkle[H8689] H1818of her bloodH5227directlyH6440beforeH168the tabernacleH4150of the congregationH7651sevenH6471times:

⁵ H8313And one shall burn[H8804] H6510the heiferH5869in his sightH5785; her skinH1320, and her fleshH1818, and her bloodH6569, with her dungH8313, shall he burn[H8799] :

⁶ H3548And the priestH3947shall take[H8804] H730cedarH6086woodH231, and hyssopH8438, and scarletH8144 H7993, and cast[H8689] H8432it into the midstH8316of the burningH6510of the heifer.

⁷ H3548Then the priestH3526shall wash[H8765] H899his clothesH7364, and he shall bathe[H8804] H1320his fleshH4325in waterH310, and afterwardH935he shall come[H8799] H4264into the campH3548, and the priestH2930shall be unclean[H8804] H6153until the even.

⁸ H8313And he that burneth[H8802] H3526her shall wash[H8762] H899his clothesH4325in waterH7364, and bathe[H8804] H1320his fleshH4325in waterH2930, and shall be unclean[H8804] H6153until the even.

⁹ H376And a manH2889that is cleanH622shall gather[H8804] H665up the ashesH6510of the heiferH3240, and lay them up[H8689] H2351withoutH4264the campH2889in a cleanH4725placeH4931, and it shall be keptH5712for the congregationH1121of the childrenH3478of IsraelH4325for a waterH5079of separationH2403: it is a purification for sin.

¹⁰ H622And he that gathereth[H8802] H665the ashesH6510of the heiferH3526shall wash[H8765] H899his clothesH2930, and be unclean[H8804] H6153until the evenH1121: and it shall be unto the childrenH3478of IsraelH1616, and unto the strangerH1481that sojourneth[H8802] H8432amongH2708them, for a statuteH5769for ever.

¹¹ H5060He that toucheth[H8802] H4191the dead[H8801] H5315bodyH120of any manH2930shall be unclean[H8804] H7651sevenH3117days.

¹² H2398He shall purify[H8691] H7992himself with it on the thirdH3117dayH7637, and on the seventhH3117dayH2891he shall be clean[H8799] H2398: but if he purify[H8691] H7992not himself the thirdH3117dayH7637, then the seventhH3117dayH2891he shall not be clean[H8799] .

¹³ H5060Whosoever toucheth[H8802] H4191the dead[H8801] H5315bodyH120of any manH4191that is dead[H8799] H2398, and purifieth[H8691] H2930not himself, defileth[H8765] H4908the tabernacleH3068of the LORDH5315; and that soulH3772shall be cut off[H8738] H3478from IsraelH4325: because the waterH5079of separationH2236was not sprinkled[H8795] H2931upon him, he shall be uncleanH2932; his uncleanness is yet upon him.

¹⁴ H8451This is the lawH120, when a manH4191dieth[H8799] H168in a tentH935: all that come[H8802] H168into the tentH168, and all that is in the tentH2930, shall be unclean[H8799] H7651sevenH3117days.

¹⁵ H6605And every open[H8803] H3627vesselH6781, which hath no coveringH6616boundH2931upon it, is unclean.

¹⁶ H5060And whosoever toucheth[H8799] H2491one that is slainH2719with a swordH6440in the openH7704fieldsH4191, or a dead body[H8801] H6106, or a boneH120of a manH6913, or a graveH2930, shall be unclean[H8799] H7651sevenH3117days.

¹⁷ H2931And for an uncleanH3947person they shall take[H8804] H6083of the ashesH8316of the burnt heiferH2403of purification for sinH2416, and runningH4325waterH5414shall be put[H8804] H3627thereto in a vessel:

¹⁸ H2889And a cleanH376personH3947shall take[H8804] H231hyssopH2881, and dip[H8804] H4325it in the waterH5137, and sprinkle[H8689] H168it upon the tentH3627, and upon all the vesselsH5315, and upon the personsH5060that were there, and upon him that touched[H8802] H6106a boneH2491, or one slainH4191, or one dead[H8801] H6913, or a grave:

¹⁹ H2889And the cleanH5137person shall sprinkle[H8689] H2931upon the uncleanH7992on the thirdH3117dayH7637, and on the seventhH3117dayH7637: and on the seventhH3117dayH2398he shall purify[H8765] H3526himself, and wash[H8765] H899his clothesH7364, and bathe[H8804] H4325himself in waterH2891, and shall be clean[H8804] H6153at even.

²⁰ H376But the manH2930that shall be unclean[H8799] H2398, and shall not purify[H8691] H5315himself, that soulH3772shall be cut off[H8738] H8432from amongH6951the congregationH2930, because he hath defiled[H8765] H4720the sanctuaryH3068of the LORDH4325: the waterH5079of separationH2236hath not been sprinkled[H8795] H2931upon him; he is unclean.

²¹ H5769And it shall be a perpetualH2708statuteH5137unto them, that he that sprinkleth[H8688] H4325the waterH5079of separationH3526shall wash[H8762] H899his clothesH5060; and he that toucheth[H8802] H4325the waterH5079of separationH2930shall be unclean[H8799] H6153until even.

²² H2931And whatsoever the uncleanH5060person toucheth[H8799] H2930shall be unclean[H8799] H5315; and the soulH5060that toucheth[H8802] H2930it shall be unclean[H8799] H6153until even.
