Ifsomeonesays,"I loveGod,"and hateshis brother,he is a liar;for the one who does not lovehis brotherwhomhe has seen,cannotloveGodwhomhe has not seen.And thiscommandmentwe havefrom Him, that the one who lovesGodshould lovehis brotheralso.

Hatredstirsup strife,But lovecoversalltransgressions.

Loveis patient,loveis kind[and] is not jealous;lovedoes not brag[and] is not arrogant,does not act unbecomingly;it does not seekits own,is not provoked,does not take into accounta wrong[suffered],

not returningevilfor evilorinsultfor insult,but giving a blessinginstead;for you were calledfor the verypurpose that you might inherita blessing.

"For ifyou forgiveothersfor their transgressions,your heavenlyFatherwill alsoforgiveyou."But ifyou do not forgiveothers,thenyour Fatherwill not forgiveyour transgressions.

Neverpay backevilfor evilto anyone.Respectwhat is rightin the sightof allmen.Ifpossible,so faras it dependson you, be at peacewith allmen.

A gentleanswerturnsawaywrath,But a harshwordstirsup anger.

But the fruitof the Spiritis love,joy,peace,patience,kindness,goodness,faithfulness,gentleness,self-control;againstsuch thingsthere is nolaw.

Ifyour enemyis hungry,givehim foodto eat;And ifhe is thirsty,givehim waterto drink;For you will heapburning coalson his head,And the LORDwill rewardyou.

[This] you know,my belovedbrethren.But everyonemust be quickto hear,slowto speak[and] slowto anger;for the angerof mandoes not achievethe righteousnessof God.

"But I sayto you who hear,loveyour enemies,dogoodto thosewho hateyou,blessthosewho curseyou, prayfor thosewho mistreatyou.

Lovedoesnowrongto a neighbor;thereforeloveis the fulfillmentof [the] law.

Everyonewho hateshis brotheris a murderer;and you knowthat nomurdererhaseternallifeabidingin him.

Ceasefrom angerand forsakewrath;Do not fret;[it leads] onlyto evildoing.

Aboveall,keepferventin your lovefor one another,becauselovecoversa multitudeof sins.

He who concealsa transgressionseekslove,But he who repeatsa matterseparatesintimatefriends.

Departfrom eviland dogood;Seekpeaceand pursueit.

Seethat noonerepaysanotherwith evilfor evil,but alwaysseek afterthat which is goodfor one anotherand for all people.

But in allthese thingswe overwhelmingly conquerthroughHim who lovedus.For I am convincedthat neitherdeath,norlife,norangels,norprincipalities,northings present,northings to come,norpowers,norheight,nordepth,noranyothercreated thing,will be ableto separateus from the loveof God,which is in ChristJesusour Lord.

Let allthat you do be donein love.

BE ANGRY,AND [yet] DO NOT SIN;do not let the sungo downon your anger,

Finally,brethren,whateveris true,whateveris honorable,whateveris right,whateveris pure,whateveris lovely,whateveris of good repute,ifthere is anyexcellenceand ifanythingworthy of praise,dwellon these things.

"In everything,therefore,treatpeoplethe same wayyou wantthem to treatyou, for thisis the Lawand the Prophets.

But the wisdomfrom aboveis firstpure,thenpeaceable,gentle,reasonable,fullof mercyand goodfruits,unwavering,without hypocrisy.And the seed whose fruitis righteousnessis sownin peaceby thosewho makepeace.

does not rejoicein unrighteousness,but rejoiceswith the truth;bearsallthings,believesallthings,hopesall things,enduresall things.

A man'sdiscretionmakeshim slowto anger,And it is his gloryto overlooka transgression.

"A newcommandmentI giveto you, that you loveoneanother,evenas I have lovedyou, that you alsoloveone another."By thisall menwill knowthat you are My disciples,ifyou havelovefor one another."

ThenPetercameand saidto Him, "Lord,how oftenshall my brothersinagainstme and I forgivehim? Up to seven times?"Jesussaidto him, "I do not sayto you, up to seven times,but up to seventy timesseven.

A hot-temperedmanstirsup strife,But the slowto angercalmsa dispute.

ThereforeI wantthe menin everyplaceto pray,liftingup holyhands,withoutwrathand dissension.

For You, Lord,are good,and readyto forgive,And abundantin lovingkindnessto allwho callupon You.

Brethren,evenifanyoneis caughtin anytrespass,you who are spiritual,restoresuch a onein a spiritof gentleness;[each one] lookingto yourself,sothat you toowill not be tempted.

Thereforebe imitatorsof God,as belovedchildren;and walkin love,justas Christalsolovedyou and gaveHimselfup for us, an offeringand a sacrificeto Godas a fragrantaroma.

But Jesuswas saying,"Father,forgivethem; for they do not knowwhatthey are doing."And they castlots,dividingup His garmentsamongthemselves.

The LORDis compassionateand gracious,Slowto angerand aboundingin lovingkindness.He will not alwaysstrive[with us], Norwill He keep[His anger] forever.He has not dealtwith us according to our sins,Norrewardedus according to our iniquities.

For judgment[will be] mercilessto one who has shownnomercy;mercytriumphs overjudgment.

So thenwe pursuethe things which make for peaceand the buildingup of one another.

But onewhomyou forgiveanything,I [forgive] also; for indeedwhatI have forgiven,ifI have forgivenanything,[I did it] for your sakesin the presenceof Christ,sothat noadvantage would be takenof us by Satan,for we are not ignorantof his schemes.

Trustin the LORDand dogood;Dwellin the landand cultivatefaithfulness.Delightyourself in the LORD;And He will giveyou the desiresof your heart.

"PeaceI leavewith you; My peaceI giveto you; not as the worldgivesdo I giveto you. Do not let your heartbe troubled,norlet it be fearful.

Trustin the LORDwith allyour heartAnd do not leanon your own understanding.In allyour waysacknowledgeHim, And He will makeyour pathsstraight.

Pursuepeacewith all men,and the sanctificationwithoutwhichno onewill seethe Lord.Seeto it that noonecomes shortof the graceof God;that norootof bitternessspringingup causes trouble,and by it manybe defiled;

[Be] devotedto oneanotherin brotherly love;give preferenceto one anotherin honor;

The one who sayshe is in the Lightand [yet] hateshis brotheris in the darknessuntilnow.The one who loveshis brotherabidesin the Lightand there is nocause for stumblingin him.But the one who hateshis brotheris in the darknessand walksin the darkness,and does not knowwherehe is goingbecausethe darknesshas blindedhis eyes.

Let the peaceof Christrulein your hearts,to whichindeedyou were calledin onebody;and be thankful.

Therefore,putting asideallmaliceand alldeceitand hypocrisyand envyand allslander,

"Blessedare the peacemakers,for they shall be calledsonsof God.

The mercifulmandoeshimselfgood,But the cruelmandoeshimselfharm.

But GoddemonstratesHis ownlovetowardus, in that while we were yetsinners,Christdiedfor us.

"Treatothersthe same wayyou wantthem to treatyou.

He whois slowto angerhas greatunderstanding,But he whois quick-temperedexaltsfolly.

with allhumilityand gentleness,with patience,showing tolerancefor one anotherin love,being diligentto preservethe unityof the Spiritin the bondof peace.

But nowfaith,hope,love,abidethesethree;but the greatestof theseis love.

Nowmay the Godof hopefillyou with alljoyand peacein believing,sothat you will aboundin hopeby the powerof the HolySpirit.

Nowas to the love of the brethren,you havenoneedfor [anyone] to writeto you, for you yourselvesare taught by Godto loveone another;for indeedyou do practiceit towardallthe brethrenwhoare in allMacedonia.But we urgeyou, brethren,to excelstill more,

The LORDis graciousand merciful;Slowto angerand greatin lovingkindness.The LORDis goodto all,And His merciesare overallHis works.

A fool'sangeris knownat once,But a prudentmanconcealsdishonor.

For, "THE ONEWHO DESIRESLIFE,TO LOVEAND SEEGOODDAYS,MUST KEEPHIS TONGUEFROM EVILAND HIS LIPSFROM SPEAKINGDECEIT."HE MUST TURN AWAYFROM EVILAND DOGOOD;HE MUST SEEKPEACEAND PURSUEIT.

"Thisis My commandment,that you loveone another,justas I have lovedyou.

Submitthereforeto God.Resistthe deviland he will fleefrom you.

[Let] love[be] without hypocrisy.Abhorwhat is evil;clingto what is good.

For the wholeLawis fulfilledin oneword,in the [statement], "YOU SHALL LOVEYOUR NEIGHBORAS YOURSELF."But ifyou biteand devouroneanother,take carethat you are not consumedby one another.

Let nounwholesomewordproceedfrom your mouth,but onlysuch[a word] as is goodfor edificationaccording to the need[of the moment], sothat it will givegraceto thosewho hear.

So,as those who have been chosenof God,holyand beloved,puton a heartof compassion,kindness,humility,gentlenessand patience;

"Blessedare the merciful,for they shall receive mercy.

By forbearancea rulermay be persuaded,And a softtonguebreaksthe bone.

Those who loveYour lawhave greatpeace,And nothingcauses them to stumble.

"Do not judgesothat you will not be judged."For in the wayyou judge,you will be judged;and by your standardof measure,it will be measuredto you.

For thisis the messagewhichyou have heardfrom the beginning,that we should loveone another;

Thereforeyou haveno excuse,everyoneof you who passesjudgment,for in that whichyou judgeanother,you condemnyourself;for you who judgepracticethe same things.

Do nothingfrom selfishnessorempty conceit,but with humility of mindregardone anotheras more importantthan yourselves;do not [merely] lookout for your ownpersonalinterests, but alsofor the interests of others.

And he answered,"YOU SHALL LOVETHE LORDYOUR GODWITH ALLYOUR HEART,AND WITH ALLYOUR SOUL,AND WITH ALLYOUR STRENGTH,AND WITH ALLYOUR MIND;AND YOUR NEIGHBORAS YOURSELF."

He who guardshis mouthand his tongue,Guardshis soulfrom troubles.

and while being reviled,He did not revile in return;while suffering,He utterednothreats,but kept entrusting[Himself] to Him who judgesrighteously;

ThereforeI urgeyou, brethren,by the merciesof God,to presentyour bodiesa livingand holysacrifice,acceptableto God,[which is] your spiritualservice of worship.And do not be conformedto thisworld,but be transformedby the renewingof your mind,sothat you may provewhatthe willof Godis, that which is goodand acceptableand perfect.

Thereforeencourageone anotherand buildup oneanother,justas you alsoare doing.

But ifanyof you lackswisdom,let him askof God,who givesto allgenerouslyand withoutreproach,and it will be givento him.

He who restrainshis wordshasknowledge,And he whohas a coolspiritis a manof understanding.Evena fool,when he keepssilent,is consideredwise;When he closeshis lips,he is [considered] prudent.

Finally,brethren,rejoice,be made complete,be comforted,be like-minded,live in peace;and the Godof loveand peacewill be with you.

Beloved,do not believeeveryspirit,but testthe spiritsto see whetherthey are from God,becausemanyfalse prophetshave goneout into the world.

Thereforebe carefulhowyou walk,not as unwise menbut as wise,making the mostof your time,becausethe daysare evil.

Commityour wayto the LORD,Trustalso in Him, and He will doit.He will bringforthyour righteousnessas the lightAnd your judgmentas the noonday.

And forgiveus our debts,as we alsohave forgivenour debtors.

But whenthey persistedin askingHim, He straightenedup, and saidto them, "He who is without sinamong you, let him [be the] firstto throwa stoneat her."

The northwindbringsforthrain,And a backbitingtongue,an angrycountenance.

Be anxiousfor nothing,but in everythingby prayerand supplicationwith thanksgivinglet your requestsbe made knownto God.And the peaceof God,which surpassesallcomprehension,will guardyour heartsand your mindsin ChristJesus.

But the fruitof the Spiritis love,joy,peace,patience,kindness,goodness,faithfulness,

sothat there may be nodivisionin the body,but [that] the membersmay havethe samecarefor one another.And ifonemembersuffers,allthe memberssufferwith it; if[one] memberis honored,allthe membersrejoicewith it.

and let us considerhow to stimulateone anotherto loveand gooddeeds,not forsakingour ownassembling together,as is the habitof some,but encouraging[one another]; and allthe moreas you seethe daydrawing near.

For our struggleis not againstfleshand blood,but againstthe rulers,againstthe powers,againstthe world forcesof thisdarkness,againstthe spiritual[forces] of wickednessin the heavenly[places].

"Ifyour brothersins, goand show him his faultin private;ifhe listensto you, you have wonyour brother.

rejoicingin hope,perseveringin tribulation,devotedto prayer,

A brotheroffended[is harder to be won] thana strongcity,And contentionsare like the barsof a citadel.

"The steadfastof mindYou will keepin perfectpeace,Becausehe trustsin You.

With it we bless[our] Lordand Father,and with it we cursemen,who have been madein the likenessof God;from the samemouthcome[both] blessingand cursing.My brethren,these thingsoughtnot to be this way.

"For wheretwoorthreehave gathered togetherin My name,I amtherein their midst."

EventhoughI walkthrough the valleyof the shadowof death,I fearnoevil,for You are with me; Your rodand Your staff,they comfortme.

A soothingtongueis a treeof life,But perversionin it crushesthe spirit.

Let your speechalwaysbe with grace,[as though] seasonedwith salt,so that you will knowhowyou shouldrespondto eachperson.

But fleefrom these things,you manof God,and pursuerighteousness,godliness,faith,love,perseverance[and] gentleness.

Ifwe confessour sins,He is faithfuland righteousto forgiveus our sinsand to cleanseus from allunrighteousness.

"Keep watchingand prayingthat you may not enterinto temptation;the spiritis willing,but the fleshis weak."

For the mindseton the fleshis death,but the mind seton the Spiritis lifeand peace,

So then,whilewe haveopportunity,let us dogoodto all people,and especiallyto thosewho are of the householdof the faith.

And He has saidto me, "My graceis sufficientfor you, for poweris perfectedin weakness."Most gladly,therefore,I will ratherboastaboutmy weaknesses,sothat the powerof Christmay dwellin me.ThereforeI am well contentwith weaknesses,with insults,with distresses,with persecutions,with difficulties,for Christ'ssake;for whenI am weak,thenI amstrong.

Through insolencecomesnothingbut strife,But wisdomis with those who receivecounsel.

Be strongand let your hearttakecourage,Allyou who hopein the LORD.
