H1109And when BalaamH7200saw[H8799] H5869that it pleasedH2895 [H8804] H3068the LORDH1288to bless[H8763] H3478IsraelH1980, he went[H8804] H6471not, as at other timesH7125, to seek[H8800] H5173for enchantmentsH7896, but he set[H8799] H6440his faceH4057toward the wilderness.

H1109And BalaamH5375lifted up[H8799] H5869his eyesH7200, and he saw[H8799] H3478IsraelH7931abiding[H8802] H7626in his tents according to their tribesH7307; and the spiritH430of God came upon him.

H5375And he took up[H8799] H4912his parableH559, and said[H8799] H1109, BalaamH1121the sonH1160of BeorH5002hath said[H8803] H1397, and the manH5869whose eyesH8365are open[H8803] H5002hath said[H8803] :

H5002He hath said[H8803] H8085, which heard[H8802] H561the wordsH410of GodH2372, which saw[H8799] H4236the visionH7706of the AlmightyH5307, falling[H8802] H5869into a trance, but having his eyesH1540open[H8803] :

H2895How goodly[H8804] H168are thy tentsH3290, O JacobH4908, and thy tabernaclesH3478, O Israel!

H5158As the valleysH5186are they spread forth[H8738] H1593, as gardensH5104by the river's sideH174, as the trees of lign aloesH3068which the LORDH5193hath planted[H8804] H730, and as cedar treesH4325beside the waters.

H5140He shall pourH4325the waterH5140out[H8799] H1805of his bucketsH2233, and his seedH7227shall be in manyH4325watersH4428, and his kingH7311shall be higher[H8799] H90than AgagH4438, and his kingdomH5375shall be exalted[H8691] .

H410GodH3318brought him forth[H8688] H4714out of EgyptH8443; he hath as it were the strengthH7214of an unicornH398: he shall eat up[H8799] H1471the nationsH6862his enemiesH1633, and shall break[H8762] H6106their bonesH4272, and pierce[H8799] H2671them through with his arrows.

H3766He couched[H8804] H7901, he lay down[H8804] H738as a lionH3833, and as a great lionH6965: who shall stir him up[H8686] H1288? Blessed[H8803] H1288is he that blesseth[H8764] H779thee, and cursed[H8803] H779is he that curseth[H8802]  thee.

H1111And Balak'sH639angerH2734was kindled[H8799] H1109against BalaamH5606, and he smoteH3709his handsH5606together[H8799] H1111: and BalakH559said[H8799] H1109unto BalaamH7121, I called[H8804] H6895thee to curse[H8800] H341mine enemies[H8802] H1288, and, behold, thou hast altogether[H8763] H1288blessed[H8765] H7969them these threeH6471times.

H1272Therefore now flee[H8798] H4725thou to thy placeH559: I thought[H8804] H3513to promoteH3513thee unto great[H8763] H3513honour[H8762] H3068; but, lo, the LORDH4513hath kept thee back[H8804] H3519from honour.

H1109And BalaamH559said[H8799] H1111unto BalakH1696, Spake[H8765] H4397I not also to thy messengersH7971which thou sentest[H8804] H559unto me, saying[H8800] ,

H1111If BalakH5414would give[H8799] H1004me his houseH4393fullH3701of silverH2091and goldH3201, I cannot[H8799] H5674go beyond[H8800] H6310the commandmentH3068of the LORDH6213, to do[H8800] H2896either goodH7451or badH3820of mine own mindH3068; but what the LORDH1696saith[H8762] H1696, that will I speak[H8762] ?

H1980And now, behold, I go[H8802] H5971unto my peopleH3212: come[H8798] H3289therefore, and I will advertise[H8799] H5971thee what this peopleH6213shall do[H8799] H5971to thy peopleH319in the latterH3117days.

H5002He hath said[H8803] H8085, which heard[H8802] H561the wordsH410of GodH3045, and knew[H8802] H1847the knowledgeH5945of the most HighH2372, which saw[H8799] H4236the visionH7706of the AlmightyH5307, falling[H8802] H5869into a trance, but having his eyesH1540open[H8803] :

H7200I shall see[H8799] H7789him, but not now: I shall behold[H8799] H7138him, but not nighH1869: there shall come[H8804] H3556a StarH3290out of JacobH7626, and a SceptreH6965shall rise[H8804] H3478out of IsraelH4272, and shall smite[H8804] H6285the cornersH4124of MoabH6979, and destroy[H8773] H1121all the childrenH8352of Sheth[H8676] H8351 .

H123And EdomH3424shall be a possessionH8165, SeirH3424also shall be a possessionH341for his enemies[H8802] H3478; and IsraelH6213shall do[H8802] H2428valiantly.

H3290Out of JacobH7287shall come he that shall have dominion[H8799] H6, and shall destroy[H8689] H8300him that remainethH5892of the city.

H7200And he looked[H8799] H7017on the KenitesH5375, and took up[H8799] H4912his parableH559, and said[H8799] H386, StrongH4186is thy dwellingplaceH7760, and thou puttest[H8798] H7064thy nestH5553in a rock.

H7014Nevertheless the KeniteH518shallH1197be wasted[H8763] H804, until AsshurH7617shall carry thee away captive[H8799] .
