³ H3478IsraelH6944was holinessH3068unto the LORDH7225, and the firstfruitsH8393of his increaseH398: all that devour[H8802] H816him shall offend[H8799] H7451; evilH935shall come[H8799] H5002upon them, saith[H8803] H3068the LORD.

⁴ H8085Hear[H8798] H1697ye the wordH3068of the LORDH1004, O houseH3290of JacobH4940, and all the familiesH1004of the houseH3478of Israel:

⁹ H7378Wherefore I will yet plead[H8799] H5002with you, saith[H8803] H3068the LORDH1121, and with your children'sH1121childrenH7378will I plead[H8799] .

²¹ H5193Yet I had planted[H8804] H8321thee a noble vineH571, wholly a rightH2233seedH2015: how then art thou turned[H8738] H5494into the degenerate plantH5237of a strangeH1612vine unto me?

²⁷ H559Saying[H8802] H6086to a stockH1, Thou art my fatherH68; and to a stoneH3205, Thou hast brought me forth[H8804] H6437: for they have turned[H8804] H6203their backH6440unto me, and not their faceH6256: but in the timeH7451of their troubleH559they will say[H8799] H6965, Arise[H8798] H3467, and save[H8685]  us.

²⁸ H430But where are thy godsH6213that thou hast made[H8804] H6965thee? let them arise[H8799] H3467, if they can save[H8686] H6256thee in the timeH7451of thy troubleH4557: for according to the numberH5892of thy citiesH430are thy godsH3063, O Judah.

²⁹ H7378Wherefore will ye plead[H8799] H6586with me? ye all have transgressed[H8804] H5002against me, saith[H8803] H3068the LORD.

³⁰ H7723In vainH5221have I smitten[H8689] H1121your childrenH3947; they received[H8804] H4148no correctionH2719: your own swordH398hath devoured[H8804] H5030your prophetsH7843, like a destroying[H8688] H738lion.

³² H1330Can a maidH7911forget[H8799] H5716her ornamentsH3618, or a brideH7196her attireH5971? yet my peopleH7911have forgotten[H8804] H3117me daysH4557without number.

³³ H3190Why trimmest[H8686] H1870thou thy wayH1245to seek[H8763] H160loveH3925? therefore hast thou also taught[H8765] H7451the wicked onesH1870thy ways.

³⁷ H3318Yea, thou shalt go forth[H8799] H3027from him, and thine handsH7218upon thine headH3068: for the LORDH3988hath rejected[H8804] H4009thy confidencesH6743, and thou shalt not prosper[H8686]  in them.
