On the same day יהוה made a covenant with Aḇram, saying, “I have given this land to your seed, from the river of Mitsrayim to the great river, the River Euphrates,


“This is My covenant which you guard between Me and you, and your seed after you: Every male child among you is to be circumcised.


“And I give My covenant between Me and you, and shall greatly increase you.


“And I shall establish My covenant between Me and you and your seed after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be Elohim to you and your seed after you.


And He said, “Your name is no longer called Ya‛aqoḇ, but Yisra’ĕl, because you have striven with Elohim and with men, and have overcome.”


so that the priests were unable to stand and perform the service because of the cloud, for the esteem of יהוה filled the House of יהוה.


Remember them, O my Elohim, because they have defiled the priesthood and the covenant of the priesthood, and of the Lĕwites.


Declaring His Word to Ya‛aqoḇ, His laws and His right-rulings to Yisra’ĕl.


Therefore I have had a vision of You In the set-apart place, To see Your power and Your esteem.


Elohim is truly good to Yisra’ĕl, To those whose heart is clean.


And He gave His strength into captivity, And His comeliness into the hand of the adversary.


You said, “I have made a covenant with My chosen, I have sworn to My servant Dawiḏ:


“I shall not profane My covenant, Neither would I change what has gone out from My lips.


Reveal Your work to Your servants, And Your splendour to their children.


“And it shall be, when you come to the land which יהוה gives you, as He promised, that you shall guard this service.


And יהוה said to Mosheh, “Write these Words, for according to the mouth of these Words I have made a covenant with you and with Yisra’ĕl.”


And you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus said יהוה, Yisra’ĕl is My son, My first-born,


And the cloud covered the Tent of Appointment, and the esteem of יהוה filled the Dwelling Place.


“But you, Yisra’ĕl, are My servant, Ya‛aqoḇ, whom I have chosen, the descendants of Aḇraham who loved Me,


“Listen to Me, O house of Ya‛aqoḇ, and all the remnant of the house of Yisra’ĕl, who are borne from the belly, who are carried from the womb:


And He dug it up and cleared it of stones, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a watchtower in its midst, and also made a winepress in it. And He waited for the yielding of grapes, but it yielded rotten ones.


“No longer is the sun your light by day, nor does the moon give light to you for brightness, but יהוה shall be to you an everlasting light, and your Elohim your comeliness.


“Is Ephrayim a precious son to Me, a child of delights? For though I spoke against him, I still remembered him. That is why My affections were deeply moved for him. I have great compassion for him,” declares יהוה.


“For this is the covenant I shall make with the house of Yisra’ĕl after those days, declares יהוה: I shall put My Torah in their inward parts, and write it on their hearts. And I shall be their Elohim, and they shall be My people.


“With weeping they shall come, and with their prayers I bring them. I shall make them walk by rivers of waters, in a straight way in which they do not stumble. For I shall be a Father to Yisra’ĕl, and Ephrayim – he is My first-born.


As the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. This was the appearance of the likeness of the esteem of יהוה. And when I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of One speaking.


“When Yisra’ĕl was a child, I loved him, and out of Mitsrayim I called My son.


And when Mosheh went into the Tent of Appointment to speak with Him, he heard the voice of One speaking to him from above the lid of atonement that was on the ark of the Witness, from between the two keruḇim. Thus He spoke to him.


“Hear another parable: There was a certain man, a householder who planted a vineyard and placed a hedge around it, and dug a winepress in it and built a watchtower. And he leased it to farmers and went abroad.


for the Torah was given through Mosheh – the favour and the truth came through יהושע Messiah.


יהושע saw Nethan’ĕl coming toward Him, and said of him, “See, truly a Yisra’ĕli, in whom is no deceit!”


For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are far off, as many as יהוה our Elohim shall call.


Much in every way! Because firstly indeed, that they were entrusted with the Words of Elohim.


For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”


However, it is not as though the word of Elohim has failed. For they are not all Yisra’ĕl who are of Yisra’ĕl,


Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they of Yisra’ĕl? So am I. Are they the seed of Aḇraham? So am I.


But the promises were spoken to Aḇraham, and to his Seed. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,” who is Messiah.


that at that time you were without Messiah, excluded from the citizenship of Yisra’ĕl and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no expectation and without Elohim in the world.


“You are the children of יהוה your Elohim. Do not cut yourselves nor shave the front of your head for the dead,


These are the words of the covenant which יהוה commanded Mosheh to make with the children of Yisra’ĕl in the land of Mo’aḇ, besides the covenant which He made with them in Ḥorĕḇ.


And not with you alone I am making this covenant and this oath,”


And יהוה said to Mosheh, “See, you are about to sleep with your fathers. And this people shall rise and whore after the mighty ones of the strangers of the land into the midst of which they shall enter, and forsake Me and break My covenant which I have made with them.


“And He made known to you His covenant which He commanded you to do, the Ten Words, and He wrote them on two tablets of stone.


“For you are a set-apart people to יהוה your Elohim. יהוה your Elohim has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a treasured possession above all the peoples on the face of the earth.


Now the first covenant indeed had regulations of worship and the earthly set-apart place.


only as to foods and drinks, and different washings, and fleshly regulations imposed until a time of setting matters straight.


And after the second veil, the part of the Tent which is called Most Set-apart,


and above it the keruḇim of esteem were overshadowing the place of atonement – about which we do not now speak in detail.


And these having been prepared like this, the priests always went into the first part of the Tent, accomplishing the services.
