Romans 8:15 - The Scriptures 2009

15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”

and being afraid, I went and hid your talent in the ground. See, you have what is yours.’


And He said, “Abba, Father, all is possible for You. Make this cup pass from Me. Yet not what I desire, but what You desire.”


And He said to them, “When you pray, say: Our Father in the heavens, let Your Name be set-apart, let Your reign come, let Your desire be done on earth as it is in heaven.


saying, “Father, if it be Your counsel, remove this cup from Me. Yet not My desire, but let Yours be done.”


And when he saw יהושע, he cried out, fell down before Him, and with a loud voice said, “What have I to do with You, יהושע, Son of the Most High Elohim? I beg You, do not torture me!”


And all the crowd of the neighbourhood of the Gaḏarenes asked Him to leave them, for they were seized with great fear. And He entered into the boat and returned.


“And having come, He shall convict the world concerning sin, and concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment –


יהושע said to her, “Do not hold on to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father. But go to My brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My Elohim and your Elohim.’ ”


And asking for a light, he ran in, and fell down trembling before Sha’ul and Silas.


And having heard this, they were pierced to the heart, and said to Kĕpha and the rest of the emissaries, “Men, brothers, what shall we do?”


The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of Elohim,


And not only so, but even we ourselves who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, we ourselves also groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.


And in the same way the Spirit does help in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray, but the Spirit Himself pleads our case for us with groanings unutterable.


who are the children of Yisra’ĕl, to whom is the adoption, and the esteem, and the covenants, and the giving of the Torah, and the worship, and the promises,


And we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit that is from Elohim, in order to know what Elohim has favourably given us,


For, indeed, if he who is coming proclaims another יהושע, whom we have not proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different Good News which you have not accepted, you put up with it well enough!


But as for the false brothers, sneakingly brought in, who sneaked in to spy out our freedom which we have in Messiah יהושע in order to enslave us,


In the freedom with which Messiah has made us free, stand firm, then, and do not again be held with a yoke of slavery.


having previously ordained us to adoption as sons through יהושע Messiah to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His desire,


For Elohim has not given us a spirit of cowardice, but of power and of love and of self-control.


and deliver those who throughout life were held in slavery by fear of death.


You believe that Elohim is one. You do well. The demons also believe – and shudder!


There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear holds punishment, and he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
