Let Israel enjoy themselves with their Maker.\par Let the people on Zion {\cf2\super [651]} rejoice with their King.\par


God, you have been our King\par for a long time.\par You helped us win many battles\par in this country.\par


Stop seeing things that will really happen! Get out of our way! Stop telling us about the Holy One of Israel.”


Look at the people going down to Egypt for help. The people ask for horses. They think horses will save them. The people hope the chariots {\cf2\super [289]} and horse soldiers from Egypt will protect them. The people think they are safe because that army is very big. The people don’t trust the Holy One of Israel (God). The people don’t ask the Lord for help.


The Holy One (God) says:\par “Can you compare me to anyone? No!\par No one is equal to me.\par


Precious Judah, don’t be afraid!\par My dear {\cf2\super [377]} people of Israel, don’t be scared!\par I really will help you.”\par


You will throw them into the air,\par and the wind will blow them away\par and scatter them.\par Then you will be happy in the Lord.\par You will be very proud of the Holy One (God) of Israel.”\par


People will see these things,\par and they will know\par that the Lord’s power did this.\par The people will see these things,\par and they will begin to understand.\par that the Holy One (God) of Israel\par did these things.”\par


The Lord, the king of Jacob, says, “Come, tell me your arguments. Show me your proof, \{and we will decide the things that are right\}.

The Lord God is the Holy One of Israel. He made Israel. And the Lord says,

The Lord, the Savior, the Holy One of Israel, says,\par


The Lord All-Powerful\par did not leave Israel and Judah alone,\par like a woman whose husband has died.\par God did not leave those people.\par No! Those people are guilty\par of leaving the Holy One of Israel.\par They left him,\par but he has not left them.\par
