If God did that, then I could explain\par everything that I have done.\par I could come to God like a leader\par with my head held high.\par


Job, brace yourself {\cf2\super [80]} \par and get ready to answer the questions\par that I will ask you.\par


The Lord says, “Come, let’s discuss these things. Your sins are red like scarlet, {\cf2\super [11]} but they can be \{washed away and you will be\} white like snow. Your sins are bright red, but you can become white like wool.


The Lord says,\par “Faraway countries, be quiet\par and come to me!\par Nations be brave. {\cf2\super [375]} \par Come to me and speak.\par We will meet together,\par and we will decide who is right.\par


I am the Lord your Holy One. I made Israel. I am your king.”


All people and all nations should also be gathered together. Maybe \{one of their false gods\} wants to tell about what happened in the beginning. They should bring their witnesses. The witnesses should speak the truth. This will show they are right.”


The Lord is the king of Israel. The Lord All-Powerful saves Israel. The Lord says, “I am the only God. There are no other gods. I am the Beginning and the End.
