Think about the special people God has placed in your life. They're truly blessings, and I'm lifting them up in prayer right now, in Jesus' name. The Bible is full of verses about giving thanks and blessings, and that's what I'm doing for these folks. It's not just them, either; I'm also praying for your family, your country, and your fellow believers.
“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace” (Numbers 6:24-26 NIV). I'm also praying for your pastors, who are instruments of God's grace.
“Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield” (Psalm 5:12 NIV). And you know, it's not just about blessing those who are good to us. We're called to something bigger. We're called to bless even those who give us a hard time. "Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse" (Romans 12:14 NIV).
“‘On the fifteenth day of the seventh month you are to have a holy assembly; you must do no ordinary work, and you must keep a festival to the Lord for seven days.
“You must observe the Feast of Weeks – the firstfruits of the harvest of wheat – and the Feast of Ingathering at the end of the year.
Shout out praises to the Lord, all the earth! Break out in a joyful shout and sing!
Sing to the Lord accompanied by a harp, accompanied by a harp and the sound of music!
Then you turned my lament into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and covered me with joy.
So now my heart will sing to you and not be silent; O Lord my God, I will always give thanks to you.
This day will become a memorial for you, and you will celebrate it as a festival to the Lord – you will celebrate it perpetually as a lasting ordinance.
You will sing as you do in the evening when you are celebrating a festival. You will be happy like one who plays a flute as he goes to the mountain of the Lord, the Rock who shelters Israel.

He gave their land as an inheritance, as an inheritance to Israel his people.
O Lord, your name endures, your reputation, O Lord, lasts.
For the Lord vindicates his people, and has compassion on his servants.
The nations’ idols are made of silver and gold, they are man-made.
They have mouths, but cannot speak, eyes, but cannot see,

Those who make them will end up like them, as will everyone who trusts in them.

I gave them over to their stubborn desires; they did what seemed right to them.
If only my people would obey me! If only Israel would keep my commands!
Then I would quickly subdue their enemies, and attack their adversaries.”

For the one who takes revenge against murderers took notice of the oppressed; he did not overlook their cry for help
when they prayed: “Have mercy on me, Lord! See how I am oppressed by those who hate me, O one who can snatch me away from the gates of death!
Then I will tell about all your praiseworthy acts; in the gates of Daughter Zion I will rejoice because of your deliverance.”

Do you want to really live? Would you love to live a long, happy life?
Then make sure you don’t speak evil words or use deceptive speech!
Turn away from evil and do what is right! Strive for peace and promote it!

The godly face many dangers, but the Lord saves them from each one of them.
I will boast in the Lord; let the oppressed hear and rejoice!
He protects all his bones; not one of them is broken.

Be devoted to one another with mutual love, showing eagerness in honoring one another.

Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep.
Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty but associate with the lowly. Do not be conceited.
Do not repay anyone evil for evil; consider what is good before all people.
If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all people.
Do not avenge yourselves, dear friends, but give place to God’s wrath, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.
Do not be conformed to this present world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may test and approve what is the will of God – what is good and well-pleasing and perfect.
I will remember and weep! For I was once walking along with the great throng to the temple of God, shouting and giving thanks along with the crowd as we celebrated the holy festival.
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people of his own, so that you may proclaim the virtues of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, acknowledging his name.
Shout out praise to God, all the earth!
For you, O God, tested us; you purified us like refined silver.
You led us into a trap; you caused us to suffer.
You allowed men to ride over our heads; we passed through fire and water, but you brought us out into a wide open place.
I will enter your temple with burnt sacrifices; I will fulfill the vows I made to you,
which my lips uttered and my mouth spoke when I was in trouble.
I will offer up to you fattened animals as burnt sacrifices, along with the smell of sacrificial rams. I will offer cattle and goats. (Selah)
Come! Listen, all you who are loyal to God! I will declare what he has done for me.
I cried out to him for help and praised him with my tongue.
If I had harbored sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.
However, God heard; he listened to my prayer.
Sing praises about the majesty of his reputation! Give him the honor he deserves!
God deserves praise, for he did not reject my prayer or abandon his love for me!
Say to God: “How awesome are your deeds! Because of your great power your enemies cower in fear before you.

before the Lord, for he comes! For he comes to judge the earth! He judges the world fairly, and the nations in accordance with his justice.
Sing to the Lord! Praise his name! Announce every day how he delivers!
Tell the nations about his splendor! Tell all the nations about his amazing deeds!
My lips will shout for joy! Yes, I will sing your praises! I will praise you when you rescue me!
Praise the Lord, O my soul! With all that is within me, praise his holy name!
He does not deal with us as our sins deserve; he does not repay us as our misdeeds deserve.
For as the skies are high above the earth, so his loyal love towers over his faithful followers.
As far as the eastern horizon is from the west, so he removes the guilt of our rebellious actions from us.
As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on his faithful followers.
For he knows what we are made of; he realizes we are made of clay.
A person’s life is like grass. Like a flower in the field it flourishes,
but when the hot wind blows by, it disappears, and one can no longer even spot the place where it once grew.
But the Lord continually shows loyal love to his faithful followers, and is faithful to their descendants,
to those who keep his covenant, who are careful to obey his commands.
The Lord has established his throne in heaven; his kingdom extends over everything.
Praise the Lord, O my soul! Do not forget all his kind deeds!
But may all who take shelter in you be happy! May they continually shout for joy! Shelter them so that those who are loyal to you may rejoice!
Then Moses and the Israelites sang this song to the Lord. They said, “I will sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously, the horse and its rider he has thrown into the sea.
But you blew with your breath, and the sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters.
Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like you? – majestic in holiness, fearful in praises, working wonders?
You stretched out your right hand, the earth swallowed them.
By your loyal love you will lead the people whom you have redeemed; you will guide them by your strength to your holy dwelling place.
The nations will hear and tremble; anguish will seize the inhabitants of Philistia.
Then the chiefs of Edom will be terrified, trembling will seize the leaders of Moab, and the inhabitants of Canaan will shake.
Fear and dread will fall on them; by the greatness of your arm they will be as still as stone until your people pass by, O Lord, until the people whom you have bought pass by.
You will bring them in and plant them in the mountain of your inheritance, in the place you made for your residence, O Lord, the sanctuary, O Lord, that your hands have established.
The Lord will reign forever and ever!
For the horses of Pharaoh came with his chariots and his footmen into the sea, and the Lord brought back the waters of the sea on them, but the Israelites walked on dry land in the middle of the sea.”

He covers the sky with clouds, provides the earth with rain, and causes grass to grow on the hillsides.
He gives food to the animals, and to the young ravens when they chirp.
How lovely is the place where you live, O Lord who rules over all!
Certainly spending just one day in your temple courts is better than spending a thousand elsewhere. I would rather stand at the entrance to the temple of my God than live in the tents of the wicked.
For the Lord God is our sovereign protector. The Lord bestows favor and honor; he withholds no good thing from those who have integrity.
O Lord who rules over all, how blessed are those who trust in you!
I desperately want to be in the courts of the Lord’s temple. My heart and my entire being shout for joy to the living God.

The trumpeters and musicians played together, praising and giving thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and other instruments, they loudly praised the Lord, singing: “Certainly he is good; certainly his loyal love endures!” Then a cloud filled the Lord’s temple.
The priests could not carry out their duties because of the cloud; the Lord’s splendor filled God’s temple.
