I believe God truly values family, and His blessings extend to our children. The Bible says, "For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants" (Isaiah 44:3). As parents, children, or siblings, I feel it's our responsibility to pray for our families and declare God's promises over them. Remember what God promised Abraham—that through his offspring all families on earth would be blessed.

It's so important to make time to build a strong spiritual foundation at home. Jesus wants us to be strong in every way so we can stay together and stand firm during tough times. Prayer is essential for a healthy home and a blessed family.

I want to encourage you to stay connected to God. As a parent and head of the household, you'll be accountable for what's been entrusted to you. That's why it's crucial to diligently follow God's ways and His teachings so that everyone in your family can experience a full and abundant life in Christ Jesus.

But you, Lord, are a shield that protects me; you are my glory and the one who restores me.

As for you, the one who lives in the shelter of the sovereign One, and resides in the protective shadow of the mighty king –No harm will overtake you; no illness will come near your home.For he will order his angels to protect you in all you do.They will lift you up in their hands, so you will not slip and fall on a stone.You will subdue a lion and a snake; you will trample underfoot a young lion and a serpent.The Lord says, “Because he is devoted to me, I will deliver him; I will protect him because he is loyal to me.When he calls out to me, I will answer him. I will be with him when he is in trouble; I will rescue him and bring him honor.I will satisfy him with long life, and will let him see my salvation.I say this about the Lord, my shelter and my stronghold, my God in whom I trust –he will certainly rescue you from the snare of the hunter and from the destructive plague.

Now I have chosen and consecrated this temple by making it my permanent home; I will be constantly present there.

You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the field.

I will also shake up all the nations, and they will offer their treasures; then I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the Lord who rules over all.

You must love the Lord your God with your whole mind, your whole being, and all your strength.These words I am commanding you today must be kept in mind,and you must teach them to your children and speak of them as you sit in your house, as you walk along the road, as you lie down, and as you get up.You should tie them as a reminder on your forearm and fasten them as symbols on your forehead.Inscribe them on the doorframes of your houses and gates.

How blessed is every one of the Lord’s loyal followers, each one who keeps his commands!

Now be willing to bless your servant’s dynasty so that it may stand permanently before you, for you, O sovereign Lord, have spoken. By your blessing may your servant’s dynasty be blessed on into the future!”

The Lord’s angel camps around the Lord’s loyal followers and delivers them.

If the Lord does not build a house, then those who build it work in vain. If the Lord does not guard a city, then the watchman stands guard in vain.

The Lord is my high ridge, my stronghold, my deliverer. My God is my rocky summit where I take shelter, my shield, the horn that saves me, and my refuge.

If you have no desire to worship the Lord, choose today whom you will worship, whether it be the gods whom your ancestors worshiped beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living. But I and my family will worship the Lord!”

I will lie down and sleep peacefully, for you, Lord, make me safe and secure.

Even when you are old, I will take care of you, even when you have gray hair, I will carry you. I made you and I will support you; I will carry you and rescue you.

Your wife will be like a fruitful vine in the inner rooms of your house; your children will be like olive branches, as they sit all around your table.Yes indeed, the man who fears the Lord will be blessed in this way.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give him thanks! Praise his name!

All your children will be followers of the Lord, and your children will enjoy great prosperity.

Commit your future to the Lord! Trust in him, and he will act on your behalf.

So we must not grow weary in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not give up.

Taste and see that the Lord is good! How blessed is the onewho takes shelter in him!
