Isaiah 29 - King James Bible with Strong Numbers

H1945WoeH740to ArielH740, to ArielH7151, the cityH1732where DavidH2583dwelt[H8804] H5595! add[H8798] H8141ye yearH8141to yearH5362; let them kill[H8799] H2282sacrifices.

H6693Yet I will distress[H8689] H740ArielH8386, and there shall be heavinessH592and sorrowH740: and it shall be unto me as Ariel.

H2583And I will camp[H8804] H1754against thee round aboutH6696, and will lay siege[H8804] H4674against thee with a mountH6965, and I will raise[H8689] H4694forts against thee.

H8213And thou shalt be brought down[H8804] H1696, and shalt speak[H8762] H776out of the groundH565, and thy speechH7817shall be low[H8735] H6083out of the dustH6963, and thy voiceH178shall be, as of one that hath a familiar spiritH776, out of the groundH565, and thy speechH6850shall whisper[H8770] H6083out of the dust.

H1995Moreover the multitudeH2114of thy strangers[H8801] H1851shall be like smallH80dustH1995, and the multitudeH6184of the terrible onesH4671shall be as chaffH5674that passeth away[H8802] H6621: yea, it shall be at an instantH6597suddenly.

H6485Thou shalt be visited[H8735] H3068of the LORDH6635of hostsH7482with thunderH7494, and with earthquakeH1419, and greatH6963noiseH5492, with stormH5591and tempestH3851, and the flameH398of devouring[H8802] H784fire.

H1995And the multitudeH1471of all the nationsH6633that fight[H8802] H740against ArielH6638, even all that fight[H8802] H4685against her and her munitionH6693, and that distress[H8688] H2472her, shall be as a dreamH3915of a nightH2377vision.

H7457It shall even be as when an hungryH2492man dreameth[H8799] H398, and, behold, he eateth[H8802] H6974; but he awaketh[H8689] H5315, and his soulH7386is emptyH834: or as whenH6771a thirsty manH2492dreameth[H8799] H8354, and, behold, he drinketh[H8802] H6974; but he awaketh[H8689] H5889, and, behold, he is faintH5315, and his soulH8264hath appetite[H8802] H1995: so shall the multitudeH1471of all the nationsH6633be, that fight[H8802] H2022against mountH6726Zion.

H4102Stay[H8697] H8539yourselves, and wonder[H8798] H8173; cry ye out[H8697] H8173, and cry[H8798] H7937: they are drunken[H8804] H3196, but not with wineH5128; they stagger[H8804] H7941, but not with strong drink.

H3068For the LORDH5258hath poured out[H8804] H7307upon you the spiritH8639of deep sleepH6105, and hath closed[H8762] H5869your eyesH5030: the prophetsH7218and your rulersH2374, the seersH3680hath he covered[H8765] .

H2380And the visionH1697of all is become unto you as the wordsH5612of a bookH2856that is sealed[H8803] H5414, which men deliver[H8799] H3045to one that is learned[H8802] H559, saying[H8800] H7121, Read[H8798] H559this, I pray thee: and he saith[H8804] H3201, I cannot[H8799] H2856; for it is sealed[H8803] :

H5612And the bookH5414is delivered[H8738] H3045to him that is not learned[H8804] H5612 H559, saying[H8800] H7121, Read[H8798] H559this, I pray thee: and he saith[H8804] H3045, I am not learned[H8804] .

H136Wherefore the LordH559said[H8799] H3282, ForasmuchH5971as this peopleH5066draw near[H8738] H6310me with their mouthH8193, and with their lipsH3513do honour[H8765] H7368me, but have removedH3820their heartH7368far[H8765] H3374from me, and their fearH3925toward me is taught[H8794] H4687by the preceptH582of men:

H3254Therefore, behold, I will proceed[H8802] H6381to do a marvellous work[H8687] H5971among this peopleH6381, even a marvellous work[H8687] H6382and a wonderH2451: for the wisdomH2450of their wiseH6men shall perish[H8804] H998, and the understandingH995of their prudent[H8737] H5641men shall be hid[H8691] .

H1945WoeH6009unto them that seek deep[H8688] H5641to hide[H8687] H6098their counselH3068from the LORDH4639, and their worksH4285are in the darkH559, and they say[H8799] H7200, Who seeth[H8802] H3045us? and who knoweth[H8802]  us?

H2017Surely your turning of things upside down[H8800] H2803shall be esteemed[H8735] H3335as the potter's[H8802] H2563clayH4639: for shall the workH559say[H8799] H6213of him that made[H8802] H6213it, He made[H8804] H3336me not? or shall the thing framedH559say[H8804] H3335of him that framed[H8802] H995it, He had no understanding[H8689] ?

H4213Is it not yet a veryH4592little whileH3844, and LebanonH7725shall be turned[H8804] H3759into a fruitful fieldH3759, and the fruitful fieldH2803shall be esteemed[H8735] H3293as a forest?

H3117And in that dayH2795shall the deafH8085hear[H8804] H1697the wordsH5612of the bookH5869, and the eyesH5787of the blindH7200shall see[H8799] H652out of obscurityH2822, and out of darkness.

H6035The meekH3254also shall increase[H8804] H8057their joyH3068in the LORDH34, and the poorH120among menH1523shall rejoice[H8799] H6918in the Holy OneH3478of Israel.

H6184For the terrible oneH656is brought to nought[H8804] H3887, and the scorner[H8801] H3615is consumed[H8804] H8245, and all that watch[H8802] H205for iniquityH3772are cut off[H8738] :

H120That make a manH2398an offender[H8688] H1697for a wordH6983, and lay a snare[H8799] H3198for him that reproveth[H8688] H8179in the gateH5186, and turn aside[H8686] H6662the justH8414for a thing of nought.

H559Therefore thus saith[H8804] H3068the LORDH6299, who redeemed[H8804] H85AbrahamH1004, concerning the houseH3290of JacobH3290, JacobH954shall not now be ashamed[H8799] H6440, neither shall his faceH2357now wax pale[H8799] .

H7200But when he seeth[H8800] H3206his childrenH4639, the workH3027of mine handsH7130, in the midstH6942of him, they shall sanctify[H8686] H8034my nameH6942, and sanctify[H8689] H6918the Holy OneH3290of JacobH6206, and shall fear[H8686] H430the GodH3478of Israel.

H8582They also that erred[H8802] H7307in spiritH3045shall come[H8804] H998to understandingH7279, and they that murmured[H8803] H3925shall learn[H8799] H3948doctrine.
