22 H4325And this waterH779that causeth the curse[H8764] H935shall go[H8804] H4578into thy bowelsH990, to make thy bellyH6638to swell[H8687] H3409, and thy thighH5307to rot[H8687] H802: And the womanH559shall say[H8804] H543, AmenH543, amen. 23 H3548And the priestH3789shall write[H8804] H423these cursesH5612in a bookH4229, and he shall blot[H8804] H4751them out with the bitterH4325water: 24 H802And he shall cause the womanH8248to drink[H8689] H4751the bitterH4325waterH779that causeth the curse[H8764] H4325: and the waterH779that causeth the curse[H8764] H935shall enter[H8804] H4751into her, and become bitter. 25 H3548Then the priestH3947shall take[H8804] H7068the jealousyH4503offeringH802out of the woman'sH3027handH5130, and shall wave[H8689] H4503the offeringH6440beforeH3068the LORDH7126, and offer[H8689] H4196it upon the altar: 26 H3548And the priestH7061shall take an handful[H8804] H4503of the offeringH234, even the memorialH6999thereof, and burn[H8689] H4196it upon the altarH310, and afterwardH802shall cause the womanH8248to drink[H8686] H4325the water. 27 H8248And when he hath made her to drink[H8689] H4325the waterH2930, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be defiled[H8738] H4603, and have done[H8799] H4604trespassH376against her husbandH4325, that the waterH779that causeth the curse[H8764] H935shall enter[H8804] H4751into her, and become bitterH990, and her bellyH6638shall swell[H8804] H3409, and her thighH5307shall rot[H8804] H802: and the womanH423shall be a curseH7130amongH5971her people. 28 H802And if the womanH2930be not defiled[H8738] H2889, but be cleanH5352; then she shall be free[H8738] H2232, and shall conceive[H8738] H2233seed. 29 H8451This is the lawH7068of jealousiesH802, when a wifeH7847goeth aside[H8799] H376to another instead of her husbandH2930, and is defiled[H8738] ; 30 H7307Or when the spiritH7068of jealousyH5674cometh[H8799] H376upon himH7065, and he be jealous[H8765] H802over his wifeH5975, and shall set[H8689] H802the womanH6440beforeH3068the LORDH3548, and the priestH6213shall execute[H8804] H8451upon her all this law. 31 H376Then shall the manH5352be guiltless[H8738] H5771from iniquityH1931, and thisH802womanH5375shall bear[H8799] H5771her iniquity. |
