¹ H3068And the LORDH1696spake[H8762] H4872unto MosesH559, saying[H8800] ,

² H6680Command[H8761] H1121the childrenH3478of IsraelH7971, that they put out[H8762] H4264of the campH6879every leper[H8803] H2100, and every one that hath an issue[H8802] H2931, and whosoever is defiledH5315by the dead:

³ H2145Both maleH5347and femaleH7971shall ye put out[H8762] H2351, withoutH4264the campH7971shall ye put[H8762] H2930them; that they defile[H8762] H4264not their campsH8432, in the midstH834whereofH7931I dwell[H8802] .

⁴ H1121And the childrenH3478of IsraelH6213did so[H8799] H7971, and put them out[H8762] H2351withoutH4264the campH3068: as the LORDH1696spake[H8765] H4872unto MosesH6213, so did[H8804] H1121the childrenH3478of Israel.

⁵ H3068And the LORDH1696spake[H8762] H4872unto MosesH559, saying[H8800] ,

⁶ H1696Speak[H8761] H1121unto the childrenH3478of IsraelH376, When a manH802or womanH6213shall commit[H8799] H2403any sinH120that menH4603commit[H8800] H4604, to do a trespassH3068against the LORDH5315, and that personH816be guilty[H8804] ;

⁷ H3034Then they shall confess[H8694] H2403their sinH6213which they have done[H8804] H7725: and he shall recompense[H8689] H817his trespassH7218with the principalH3254thereof, and add[H8686] H2549unto it the fifthH5414part thereof, and give[H8804] H816it unto him against whom he hath trespassed[H8804] .

⁸ H376But if the manH1350have no kinsman[H8802] H7725to recompense[H8687] H817the trespassH817unto, let the trespassH7725be recompensed[H8716] H3068unto the LORDH3548, even to the priestH352; beside the ramH3725of the atonementH3722, whereby an atonement shall be made[H8762]  for him.

⁹ H8641And every offeringH6944of all the holy thingsH1121of the childrenH3478of IsraelH7126, which they bring[H8686] H3548unto the priest, shall be his.

¹⁰ H376And every man'sH6944hallowed thingsH376shall be his: whatsoever any manH5414giveth[H8799] H3548the priest, it shall be his.

¹¹ H3068And the LORDH1696spake[H8762] H4872unto MosesH559, saying[H8800] ,

¹² H1696Speak[H8761] H1121unto the childrenH3478of IsraelH559, and say[H8804] H376unto them, If anyH376man'sH802wifeH7847go aside[H8799] H4603, and commit[H8804] H4604a trespass against him,

¹³ H376And a manH7901lie[H8804] H7902with her carnallyH2233 H5956, and it be hid[H8738] H5869from the eyesH376of her husbandH5641, and be kept close[H8738] H2930, and she be defiled[H8738] H5707, and there be no witnessH8610against her, neither she be taken[H8738]  with the manner;

¹⁴ H7307And the spiritH7068of jealousyH5674come[H8804] H7065upon him, and he be jealous[H8765] H802of his wifeH2930, and she be defiled[H8738] H7307: or if the spiritH7068of jealousyH5674come[H8804] H7065upon him, and he be jealous[H8765] H802of his wifeH2930, and she be not defiled[H8738] :

¹⁵ H376Then shall the manH935bring[H8689] H802his wifeH3548unto the priestH935, and he shall bring[H8689] H7133her offeringH6224for her, the tenthH374part of an ephahH8184of barleyH7058mealH3332; he shall pour[H8799] H8081no oilH5414upon it, nor put[H8799] H3828frankincenseH4503thereon; for it is an offeringH7068of jealousyH4503, an offeringH2146of memorialH2142, bringingH5771iniquityH2142to remembrance[H8688] .

¹⁶ H3548And the priestH7126shall bring her near[H8689] H5975, and set[H8689] H6440her beforeH3068the LORD:

¹⁷ H3548And the priestH3947shall take[H8804] H6918holyH4325waterH2789in an earthenH3627vesselH6083; and of the dustH7172that is in the floorH4908of the tabernacleH3548the priestH3947shall take[H8799] H5414, and put[H8804] H4325it into the water:

¹⁸ H3548And the priestH5975shall set[H8689] H802the womanH6440beforeH3068the LORDH6544, and uncover[H8804] H802the woman'sH7218headH5414, and put[H8804] H4503the offeringH2146of memorialH3709in her handsH7068, which is the jealousyH4503offeringH3548: and the priestH3027shall have in his handH4751the bitterH4325waterH779that causeth the curse[H8764] :

¹⁹ H3548And the priestH7650shall charge her by an oath[H8689] H559, and say[H8804] H802unto the womanH376, If no manH7901have lain[H8804] H7847with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside[H8804] H2932to uncleannessH376with another instead of thy husbandH5352, be thou free[H8734] H4751from this bitterH4325waterH779that causeth the curse[H8764] :

²⁰ H7847But if thou hast gone aside[H8804] H376to another instead of thy husbandH2930, and if thou be defiled[H8738] H376, and some manH5414have[H8799] H7903lainH1107with thee besideH376thine husband:

²¹ H3548Then the priestH7650shall charge[H8689] H802the womanH7621with an oathH423of cursingH3548, and the priestH559shall say[H8804] H802unto the womanH3068, The LORDH5414make[H8799] H423thee a curseH7621and an oathH8432amongH5971thy peopleH3068, when the LORDH5414doth make[H8800] H3409thy thighH5307to rot[H8802] H990, and thy bellyH6639to swell;

²² H4325And this waterH779that causeth the curse[H8764] H935shall go[H8804] H4578into thy bowelsH990, to make thy bellyH6638to swell[H8687] H3409, and thy thighH5307to rot[H8687] H802: And the womanH559shall say[H8804] H543, AmenH543, amen.

²³ H3548And the priestH3789shall write[H8804] H423these cursesH5612in a bookH4229, and he shall blot[H8804] H4751them out with the bitterH4325water:

²⁴ H802And he shall cause the womanH8248to drink[H8689] H4751the bitterH4325waterH779that causeth the curse[H8764] H4325: and the waterH779that causeth the curse[H8764] H935shall enter[H8804] H4751into her, and become bitter.

²⁵ H3548Then the priestH3947shall take[H8804] H7068the jealousyH4503offeringH802out of the woman'sH3027handH5130, and shall wave[H8689] H4503the offeringH6440beforeH3068the LORDH7126, and offer[H8689] H4196it upon the altar:

²⁶ H3548And the priestH7061shall take an handful[H8804] H4503of the offeringH234, even the memorialH6999thereof, and burn[H8689] H4196it upon the altarH310, and afterwardH802shall cause the womanH8248to drink[H8686] H4325the water.

²⁷ H8248And when he hath made her to drink[H8689] H4325the waterH2930, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be defiled[H8738] H4603, and have done[H8799] H4604trespassH376against her husbandH4325, that the waterH779that causeth the curse[H8764] H935shall enter[H8804] H4751into her, and become bitterH990, and her bellyH6638shall swell[H8804] H3409, and her thighH5307shall rot[H8804] H802: and the womanH423shall be a curseH7130amongH5971her people.

²⁸ H802And if the womanH2930be not defiled[H8738] H2889, but be cleanH5352; then she shall be free[H8738] H2232, and shall conceive[H8738] H2233seed.

²⁹ H8451This is the lawH7068of jealousiesH802, when a wifeH7847goeth aside[H8799] H376to another instead of her husbandH2930, and is defiled[H8738] ;

³⁰ H7307Or when the spiritH7068of jealousyH5674cometh[H8799] H376upon himH7065, and he be jealous[H8765] H802over his wifeH5975, and shall set[H8689] H802the womanH6440beforeH3068the LORDH3548, and the priestH6213shall execute[H8804] H8451upon her all this law.

³¹ H376Then shall the manH5352be guiltless[H8738] H5771from iniquityH1931, and thisH802womanH5375shall bear[H8799] H5771her iniquity.
