Blessedbe the LORDfrom Zion,Who dwellsin Jerusalem.Praisethe LORD!
Godis in the midstof her, she will not be moved;Godwill helpher when morningdawns.
Whydo you lookwith envy,O mountainswith [many] peaks,At the mountainwhich Godhas desiredfor His abode?Surelythe LORDwill dwell[there] forever.
I will alsopraiseYou with a harp,[Even] Your truth,O my God;To You I will singpraiseswith the lyre,O HolyOneof Israel.
For our shieldbelongs to the LORD,And our kingto the HolyOneof Israel.
Singpraisesto the LORD,who dwellsin Zion;Declareamong the peoplesHis deeds.
The LORDis greatin Zion,And He is exaltedaboveallthe peoples.
Thereforethe LordGODof hosts,The MightyOneof Israel,declares,"Ah,I will be relievedof My adversariesAnd avengeMyself on My foes.
Thereforethussaysthe LordGODof hosts,"O My peoplewho dwellin Zion,do not fearthe Assyrianwho strikesyou with the rodand liftsup his staffagainstyou, the wayEgypt[did].
They raisetheir voices,they shoutfor joy;They cryout from the westconcerning the majestyof the LORD.
Then the moonwill be abashedand the sunashamed,For the LORDof hostswill reignon MountZionand in Jerusalem,And [His] glorywill be beforeHis elders.
O peoplein Zion,inhabitantin Jerusalem,you will weepnolonger.He will surelybe graciousto you at the soundof your cry;when He hearsit, He will answeryou.
But therethe majestic[One], the LORD,will be for us A placeof rivers[and] widecanalsOn which noboatwith oarswill go,And on which nomightyshipwill pass--
And noresidentwill say,"I am sick";The peoplewho dwellthere will be forgiven[their] iniquity.
Getyourself up on a highmountain,O Zion,bearerof good news,Liftup your voicemightily,O Jerusalem,bearerof good news;Lift[it] up, do not fear.Sayto the citiesof Judah,"Hereis your God!"
"Do not fear,you wormJacob,you menof Israel;I will helpyou," declaresthe LORD,"and your Redeemeris the HolyOneof Israel.
"You will winnowthem, and the windwill carrythem away, And the stormwill scatterthem; But you will rejoicein the LORD,You will gloryin the HolyOneof Israel.
"I will feedyour oppressorswith their own flesh,And they will becomedrunkwith their own bloodas with sweetwine;And allfleshwill knowthat I, the LORD,am your SaviorAnd your Redeemer,the MightyOneof Jacob."
"Shoutfor joy,O barrenone,you who have borneno[child]; Breakforthinto joyfulshoutingand cryaloud,you who have not travailed;For the sonsof the desolateone [will be] morenumerousThanthe sonsof the marriedwoman," saysthe LORD.
"You will also suckthe milkof nationsAnd suckthe breastof kings;Then you will knowthat I, the LORD,am your SaviorAnd your Redeemer,the MightyOneof Jacob.
Behold,I and the childrenwhomthe LORDhas givenme are for signsand wondersin Israelfrom the LORDof hosts,who dwellson MountZion.
Thereis nonelikeYou, O LORD;You are great,and greatis Your namein might.
"Becauseyou have said,'These twonationsand these twolandswill be mine, and we will possessthem,' although the LORDwas there,
"My holynameI will makeknownin the midstof My peopleIsrael;and I will not let My holynamebe profanedanymore.And the nationswill knowthat I am the LORD,the HolyOnein Israel.
He saidto me, "Sonof man,[this is] the placeof My throneand the placeof the solesof My feet,whereI will dwellamongthe sonsof Israelforever.And the houseof Israelwill not againdefileMy holyname,neither they northeir kings,by their harlotryand by the corpsesof their kingswhen they die,
"[The city shall be] 18,000[cubits] roundabout;and the nameof the cityfrom [that] day[shall be], 'The LORDis there.'"
"And besidethe borderof Judah,from the eastsideto the westside,shall be the allotmentwhichyou shall setapart,25000[cubits] in width,and in lengthlike oneof the portions,from the eastsideto the westside;and the sanctuaryshall be in the middleof it.
I will not executeMy fierceanger;I will not destroyEphraimagain.For I am Godand not man,the HolyOnein your midst,And I will not comein wrath.
"Thus you will knowthat I am in the midstof Israel,And that I am the LORDyour God,And thereis noother;And My peoplewill neverbe putto shame.
Woeto the inhabitantsof the seacoast,The nationof the Cherethites!The wordof the LORDis againstyou, O Canaan,landof the Philistines;And I will destroyyou Sothat therewill be noinhabitant.
For I,' declaresthe LORD,will be a wallof firearoundher, and I will be the gloryin her midst.'"
"For behold,I will waveMy handoverthem so that they will be plunderfor their slaves.Then you will knowthat the LORDof hostshas sentMe.
"He has not observedmisfortunein Jacob;Norhas He seentroublein Israel;The LORDhis Godis with him, And the shoutof a kingis among them.
"You shall not handoverto his mastera slavewhohas escapedfrom his masterto you.
