¹ H1697The wordH3068of the LORDH559came also unto me, saying[H8800] ,

² H3947Thou shalt not take[H8799] H802thee a wifeH1121, neither shalt thou have sonsH1323or daughtersH4725in this place.

³ H559For thus saith[H8804] H3068the LORDH1121concerning the sonsH1323and concerning the daughtersH3205that are born[H8688] H4725in this placeH517, and concerning their mothersH3205that bare[H8802] H1them, and concerning their fathersH3209that begatH776them in this land;

⁴ H4191They shall die[H8799] H8463of grievousH4463deathsH5594; they shall not be lamented[H8735] H6912; neither shall they be buried[H8735] H1828; but they shall be as dungH6440upon the faceH127of the earthH3615: and they shall be consumed[H8799] H2719by the swordH7458, and by famineH5038; and their carcasesH3978shall be meatH5775for the fowlsH8064of heavenH929, and for the beastsH776of the earth.

⁵ H559For thus saith[H8804] H3068the LORDH935, Enter[H8799] H1004not into the houseH4798of mourningH3212, neither go[H8799] H5594to lament[H8800] H5110nor bemoan[H8799] H622them: for I have taken away[H8804] H7965my peaceH5971from this peopleH5002, saith[H8803] H3068the LORDH2617, even lovingkindnessH7356and mercies.

⁶ H1419Both the greatH6996and the smallH4191shall die[H8804] H776in this landH6912: they shall not be buried[H8735] H5594, neither shall men lament[H8799] H1413for them, nor cut[H8704] H7139themselves, nor make themselves bald[H8735]  for them:

⁷ H6536Neither shall men tear[H8799] H60themselves for them in mourningH5162, to comfort[H8763] H4191them for the dead[H8801] H3563; neither shall men give them the cupH8575of consolationH8248to drink[H8686] H1for their fatherH517or for their mother.

⁸ H935Thou shalt not also go[H8799] H1004into the houseH4960of feastingH3427, to sit[H8800] H398with them to eat[H8800] H8354and to drink[H8800] .

⁹ H559For thus saith[H8804] H3068the LORDH6635of hostsH430, the GodH3478of IsraelH7673; Behold, I will cause to cease[H8688] H4725out of this placeH5869in your eyesH3117, and in your daysH6963, the voiceH8342of mirthH6963, and the voiceH8057of gladnessH6963, the voiceH2860of the bridegroomH6963, and the voiceH3618of the bride.

¹⁰ H5046And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew[H8686] H5971this peopleH1697all these wordsH559, and they shall say[H8804] H3068unto thee, Wherefore hath the LORDH1696pronounced[H8765] H1419all this greatH7451evilH5771against us? or what is our iniquityH2403? or what is our sinH2398that we have committed[H8804] H3068against the LORDH430our God?

¹¹ H559Then shalt thou say[H8804] H1unto them, Because your fathersH5800have forsaken[H8804] H5002me, saith[H8803] H3068the LORDH3212, and have walked[H8799] H310afterH312otherH430godsH5647, and have served[H8799] H7812them, and have worshipped[H8691] H5800them, and have forsaken[H8804] H8104me, and have not kept[H8804] H8451my law;

¹² H6213And ye have done[H8800] H7489worse[H8689] H1than your fathersH2009; for, beholdH1980, ye walk[H8802] H376every oneH310afterH8307the imaginationH7451of his evilH3820heartH8085, that they may not hearken[H8800]  unto me:

¹³ H2904Therefore will I cast[H8689] H776you out of this landH776into a landH3045that ye know[H8804] H1not, neither ye nor your fathersH5647; and there shall ye serve[H8804] H312otherH430godsH3119dayH3915and nightH5414; where I will not shew[H8799] H2594you favour.

¹⁶ H7971Behold, I will send[H8802] H7227for manyH1771fishers[H8675] H1728 H5002, saith[H8803] H3068the LORDH1770, and they shall fish[H8804] H310them; and afterH7971will I send[H8799] H7227for manyH6719huntersH6679, and they shall hunt[H8804] H2022them from every mountainH1389, and from every hillH5357, and out of the holesH5553of the rocks.

¹⁹ H3068O LORDH5797, my strengthH4581, and my fortressH4498, and my refugeH3117in the dayH6869of afflictionH1471, the GentilesH935shall come[H8799] H657unto thee from the endsH776of the earthH559, and shall say[H8799] H1, Surely our fathersH5157have inherited[H8804] H8267liesH1892, vanityH3276, and things wherein there is no profit[H8688] .

²⁰ H120Shall a manH6213make[H8799] H430godsH430unto himself, and they are no gods?

²¹ H6471Therefore, behold, I will this onceH3045cause them to know[H8688] H3045, I will cause them to know[H8686] H3027mine handH1369and my mightH3045; and they shall know[H8804] H8034that my nameH3068is The LORD.
