² H3290And JacobH7200beheld[H8799] H6440the countenanceH3837of LabanH8543, and, behold, it was not toward him asH8032before.

³ H3068And the LORDH559said[H8799] H3290unto JacobH7725, Return[H8798] H776unto the landH1of thy fathersH4138, and to thy kindred; and I will be with thee.

⁴ H3290And JacobH7971sent[H8799] H7121and called[H8799] H7354RachelH3812and LeahH7704to the fieldH6629unto his flock,

⁵ H559And said[H8799] H7200unto them, I see[H8802] H1your father'sH6440countenanceH8543, that it is not toward me asH8032beforeH430; but the GodH1of my fatherH1961hath been[H8804]  with me.

⁶ H859And yeH3045know[H8804] H3581that with all my powerH5647I have served[H8804] H1your father.

⁷ H1And your fatherH2048hath deceived[H8765] H2498me, and changed[H8689] H4909my wagesH6235tenH4489timesH430; but GodH5414suffered him[H8804] H7489not to hurt[H8687] H5978me.

⁸ H559If he said[H8799] H5348thus, The speckledH7939shall be thy wagesH6629; then all the cattleH3205bare[H8804] H5348speckledH559: and if he said[H8799] H6124thus, The ringstrakedH7939shall be thy hireH3205; then bare[H8804] H6629all the cattleH6124ringstraked.

⁹ H430Thus GodH5337hath taken away[H8686] H4735the cattleH1of your fatherH5414, and given[H8799]  them to me.

³⁶ H3290And JacobH2734was wroth[H8799] H7378, and chode[H8799] H3837with LabanH3290: and JacobH6030answered[H8799] H559and said[H8799] H3837to LabanH6588, What is my trespassH2403? what is my sinH1814, that thou hast so hotly pursued[H8804] H310after me?

⁴³ H3837And LabanH6030answered[H8799] H559and said[H8799] H3290unto JacobH1323, These daughtersH1323are my daughtersH1121, and these childrenH1121are my childrenH6629, and these cattleH6629are my cattleH7200, and all that thou seest[H8802] H6213is mine: and what can I do[H8799] H3117this dayH1323unto these my daughtersH176, orH1121unto their childrenH3205which they have born[H8804] ?

⁴⁴ H3212Now therefore come thou[H8798] H3772, let us make[H8799] H1285a covenantH5707, I and thou; and let it be for a witness between me and thee.

⁴⁵ H3290And JacobH3947took[H8799] H68a stoneH7311, and set it up[H8686] H4676for a pillar.

⁴⁶ H3290And JacobH559said[H8799] H251unto his brethrenH3950, Gather[H8798] H68stonesH3947; and they took[H8799] H68stonesH6213, and made[H8799] H1530an heapH398: and they did eat[H8799] H1530there upon the heap.

⁴⁷ H3837And LabanH7121called[H8799] H3026it JegarsahaduthaH3290: but JacobH7121called[H8804] H1567it Galeed.

⁴⁸ H3837And LabanH559said[H8799] H1530, This heapH5707is a witnessH3117between me and thee this dayH8034. Therefore was the nameH7121of it called[H8804] H1567Galeed;

⁵¹ H3837And LabanH559said[H8799] H3290to JacobH1530, Behold this heapH4676, and behold this pillarH3384, which I have cast[H8804]  betwixt me and thee;

⁵² H1530This heapH5707be witnessH4676, and this pillarH5713be witnessH5674, that I will not pass over[H8799] H1530this heapH5674to thee, and that thou shalt not pass over[H8799] H1530this heapH4676and this pillarH7451unto me, for harm.

⁵³ H430The GodH85of AbrahamH430, and the GodH5152of NahorH430, the GodH1of their fatherH8199, judge[H8799] H3290betwixt us. And JacobH7650sware[H8735] H6343by the fearH1of his fatherH3327Isaac.

⁵⁴ H3290Then JacobH2076offered[H8799] H2077sacrificeH2022upon the mountH7121, and called[H8799] H251his brethrenH398to eat[H8800] H3899breadH398: and they did eat[H8799] H3899breadH3885, and tarried all night[H8799] H2022in the mount.
