I stopped evil people abusing their power\par and saved innocent people from them. {\cf2\super [62]} \par


Those bad people hurt poor people,\par and made them cry to God for help.\par And God hears that cry for help.\par


And if a ruler causes people to sin,\par then God will remove him from power.\par


But God will humble people\par from their troubles.\par God uses those troubles\par to make people wake up\par and listen to him.\par


God won’t let evil people live.\par God always treats poor people fairly.\par


Evil people don’t like the daylight.\par When it shines bright, it stops them\par from doing their bad things.\par


The bad people roar and growl like lions.\par But God makes the bad people be quiet,\par and God breaks their teeth.\par


Yes, those bad people are like lions\par that can’t find animals to kill.\par They die and their children wander away.\par


People might say bad things about you\par with their sharp tongues.\par But God will protect you.\par You won’t need to be afraid\par when bad things happen!\par


\{Lord,\} surely you see the cruel and evil things\par that bad people do.\par Look at those things,\par and do something!\par People with many troubles\par come to you for help.\par Lord, you are the One who helps orphans. {\cf2\super [56]} \par \{So help them!\}\par


Lord, you heard what poor people want.\par Listen to their prayers\par and do what they ask!\par


But then God rescued those poor people\par from their misery.\par And now their families are large,\par like flocks of sheep.\par


Why? Because the Lord stands by\par helpless people.\par God saves them from other people\par who try to condemn them to death.\par


I know the Lord will judge poor people fairly.\par God will help helpless people.\par


With my whole self I will say,\par “Lord, there is no one like you.\par You save a poor person from people that are stronger.\par You take things from strong people,\par and you give those things\par to that poor, helpless person.”\par


Let the king be fair to the poor people.\par Let him help the helpless.\par Let him punish the people who hurt them.\par
