Whydid I evercomeforthfrom the wombTo lookon troubleand sorrow,So that my dayshave beenspentin shame?
But he himselfwenta day'sjourneyinto the wilderness,and cameand satdownundera junipertree;and he requestedfor himselfthat he might die,and said,"It is enough;now,O LORD,takemy life,for I am not betterthanmy fathers."

You knowmy reproachand my shameand my dishonor;Allmy adversariesare beforeYou.
From the soleof the footeven to the headThereis nothingsoundin it, [Only] bruises,weltsand rawwounds,Not pressedout or bandaged,Norsoftenedwith oil.
"Listento Me, you who knowrighteousness,A peoplein whose heartis My law;Do not fearthe reproachof man,Norbe dismayedat their revilings.
Woeto me, my mother,that you have borneme [As] a manof strifeand a manof contentionto allthe land!I have not lent,norhave men lentmoney to me, [Yet] everyonecursesme.
Whyhas my painbeenperpetualAnd my woundincurable,refusingto be healed?Will You indeedbe to me likea deceptive[stream] With waterthat is unreliable?
"Let us liedownin our shame,and let our humiliationcoverus; for we have sinnedagainst the LORDour God,we and our fathers,from our youtheven to thisday.And we have not obeyedthe voiceof the LORDour God."
My sorrowis beyond healing,My heartis faint[within me]!
"Is it nothingto allyou who passthis way?Lookand seeifthereis anypainlike my painWhichwas severelydealtout to me, Whichthe LORDinflictedon the dayof His fierceanger.
I am the manwho has seenafflictionBecause of the rodof His wrath.
Whydo You makeme seeiniquity,And cause [me] to lookon wickedness?Yes, destructionand violenceare beforeme; Strifeexistsand contentionarises.
"Truly,truly,I sayto you, that you will weepand lament,but the worldwill rejoice;you will grieve,but your griefwill be turnedinto joy.
Sothey went on their wayfrom the presenceof the Council,rejoicingthat they had been considered worthyto suffershamefor [His] name.
For thisreasonI alsosufferthese things,but I am not ashamed;for I knowwhomI have believedand I am convincedthat He is ableto guardwhat I have entrustedto Him untilthat day.
For you haveneedof endurance,sothat when you have donethe willof God,you may receivewhat was promised.
and othersexperiencedmockingsand scourgings,yes,alsochainsand imprisonment.
fixing our eyeson Jesus,the authorand perfecterof faith,whofor the joyset beforeHim enduredthe cross,despisingthe shame,and has sat downat the right handof the throneof God.
So,let us goout to Him outsidethe camp,bearingHis reproach.
