² H559Thus saith[H8804] H3068the LORDH6635of hostsH7065; I was jealous[H8765] H6726for ZionH1419with greatH7068jealousyH7065, and I was jealous[H8765] H1419for her with greatH2534fury.

³ H559Thus saith[H8804] H3068the LORDH7725; I am returned[H8804] H6726unto ZionH7931, and will dwell[H8804] H8432in the midstH3389of JerusalemH3389: and JerusalemH7121shall be called[H8738] H5892a cityH571of truthH2022; and the mountainH3068of the LORDH6635of hostsH6944the holyH2022mountain.

⁴ H559Thus saith[H8804] H3068the LORDH6635of hostsH2205; There shall yet old menH2205and old womenH3427dwell[H8799] H7339in the streetsH3389of JerusalemH376, and every manH4938with his staffH3027in his handH7230for veryH3117age.

⁵ H7339And the streetsH5892of the cityH4390shall be full[H8735] H3206of boysH3207and girlsH7832playing[H8764] H7339in the streets thereof.

⁶ H559Thus saith[H8804] H3068the LORDH6635of hostsH6381; If it be marvellous[H8735] H5869in the eyesH7611of the remnantH5971of this peopleH3117in these daysH6381, should it also be marvellous[H8735] H5869in mine eyesH5002? saith[H8803] H3068the LORDH6635of hosts.

⁷ H559Thus saith[H8804] H3068the LORDH6635of hostsH3467; Behold, I will save[H8688] H5971my peopleH4217from the eastH776countryH3996, and from the westH8121 H776country;

⁸ H935And I will bring[H8689] H7931them, and they shall dwell[H8804] H8432in the midstH3389of JerusalemH5971: and they shall be my peopleH430, and I will be their GodH571, in truthH6666and in righteousness.

⁹ H559Thus saith[H8804] H3068the LORDH6635of hostsH3027; Let your handsH2388be strong[H8799] H8085, ye that hear[H8802] H3117in these daysH1697these wordsH6310by the mouthH5030of the prophetsH3117, which were in the dayH3245that the foundationH1004of the houseH3068of the LORDH6635of hostsH3245was laid[H8795] H1964, that the templeH1129might be built[H8736] .

¹⁰ H6440For beforeH3117these daysH1961there was[H8738] H7939no hireH120for manH7939, nor any hireH929for beastH7965; neither was there any peaceH3318to him that went out[H8802] H935or came in[H8802] H6862because of the afflictionH7971: for I set[H8762] H120all menH376every oneH7453against his neighbour.

¹¹ H7611But now I will not be unto the residueH5971of this peopleH7223as in the formerH3117daysH5002, saith[H8803] H3068the LORDH6635of hosts.

¹² H2233For the seedH7965shall be prosperousH1612; the vineH5414shall give[H8799] H6529her fruitH776, and the groundH5414shall give[H8799] H2981her increaseH8064, and the heavensH5414shall give[H8799] H2919their dewH7611; and I will cause the remnantH5971of this peopleH5157to possess[H8689]  all these things .

¹³ H7045And it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curseH1471among the heathenH1004, O houseH3063of JudahH1004, and houseH3478of IsraelH3467; so will I save[H8686] H1293you, and ye shall be a blessingH3372: fear[H8799] H3027not, but let your handsH2388be strong[H8799] .

¹⁴ H559For thus saith[H8804] H3068the LORDH6635of hostsH2161; As I thought[H8804] H7489to punish[H8687] H1you, when your fathersH7107provoked me to wrath[H8687] H559, saith[H8804] H3068the LORDH6635of hostsH5162, and I repented[H8738]  not:

¹⁵ H7725So again[H8804] H2161have I thought[H8804] H3117in these daysH3190to do well[H8687] H3389unto JerusalemH1004and to the houseH3063of JudahH3372: fear[H8799]  ye not.

¹⁶ H1697These are the thingsH6213that ye shall do[H8799] H1696; Speak[H8761] H376ye every manH571the truthH7453to his neighbourH8199; execute[H8798] H4941the judgmentH571of truthH7965and peaceH8179in your gates:

¹⁷ H376And let noneH2803of you imagine[H8799] H7451evilH3824in your heartsH7453against his neighbourH157; and love[H8799] H8267no falseH7621oathH8130: for all these are things that I hate[H8804] H5002, saith[H8803] H3068the LORD.

¹⁸ H1697And the wordH3068of the LORDH6635of hostsH559came unto me, saying[H8800] ,

¹⁹ H559Thus saith[H8804] H3068the LORDH6635of hostsH6685; The fastH7243of the fourthH6685month, and the fastH2549of the fifthH6685, and the fastH7637of the seventhH6685, and the fastH6224of the tenthH1004, shall be to the houseH3063of JudahH8342joyH8057and gladnessH2896, and cheerfulH4150feastsH157; therefore love[H8798] H571the truthH7965and peace.

²⁰ H559Thus saith[H8804] H3068the LORDH6635of hostsH935; It shall yet come to pass, that there shall come[H8799] H5971peopleH3427, and the inhabitants[H8802] H7227of manyH5892cities:

²¹ H3427And the inhabitants[H8802] H259of oneH1980city shall go[H8804] H259to anotherH559, saying[H8800] H3212, Let us go[H8799] H1980speedily[H8800] H2470to pray[H8763] H6440beforeH3068the LORDH1245, and to seek[H8763] H3068the LORDH6635of hostsH3212: I will go[H8799]  also.

²² H7227Yea, manyH5971peopleH6099and strongH1471nationsH935shall come[H8804] H1245to seek[H8763] H3068the LORDH6635of hostsH3389in JerusalemH2470, and to pray[H8763] H6440beforeH3068the LORD.

²³ H559Thus saith[H8804] H3068the LORDH6635of hostsH3117; In those daysH6235it shall come to pass, that tenH582menH2388shall take hold[H8686] H3956out of all languagesH1471of the nationsH2388, even shall take hold[H8689] H3671of the skirtH376of him that is a JewH3064 H559, saying[H8800] H3212, We will go[H8799] H8085with you: for we have heard[H8804] H430that God is with you.
