Hosea 2 - King James Bible with Strong Numbers

H559Say[H8798] H251ye unto your brethrenH5971, AmmiH269; and to your sistersH7355, Ruhamah[H8795] .

H7378Plead[H8798] H517with your motherH7378, plead[H8798] H802: for she is not my wifeH376, neither am I her husbandH5493: let her therefore put away[H8686] H2183her whoredomsH6440out of her sightH5005, and her adulteriesH7699from between her breasts;

H6584Lest I strip[H8686] H6174her nakedH3322, and set[H8689] H3117her as in the dayH3205that she was born[H8736] H7760, and make[H8804] H4057her as a wildernessH7896, and set[H8804] H6723her like a dryH776landH4191, and slay[H8689] H6772her with thirst.

H7355And I will not have mercy[H8762] H1121upon her childrenH1121; for they be the childrenH2183of whoredoms.

H517For their motherH2181hath played the harlot[H8804] H2029: she that conceived[H8802] H3001them hath done shamefully[H8689] H559: for she said[H8804] H3212, I will go[H8799] H310afterH157my lovers[H8764] H5414, that give[H8802] H3899me my breadH4325and my waterH6785, my woolH6593and my flaxH8081, mine oilH8250and my drink.

H7753Therefore, behold, I will hedge[H8801] H1870up thy wayH5518with thornsH1443, and make[H8804] H1447a wallH4672, that she shall not find[H8799] H5410her paths.

H7291And she shall follow[H8765] H157after her lovers[H8764] H5381, but she shall not overtake[H8686] H1245them; and she shall seek[H8765] H4672them, but shall not find[H8799] H559them : then shall she say[H8804] H3212, I will go[H8799] H7725and return[H8799] H7223to my firstH376husbandH2896; for then was it betterH6258with me than now.

H3045For she did not know[H8804] H5414that I gave[H8804] H1715her cornH8492, and wineH3323, and oilH7235, and multiplied[H8689] H3701her silverH2091and goldH6213, which they prepared[H8804] H1168for Baal.

H7725Therefore will I return[H8799] H3947, and take away[H8804] H1715my cornH6256in the timeH8492thereof, and my wineH4150in the seasonH5337thereof, and will recover[H8689] H6785my woolH6593and my flaxH3680given to cover[H8763] H6172her nakedness.

H1540And now will I discover[H8762] H5040her lewdnessH5869in the sightH157of her lovers[H8764] H376, and noneH5337shall deliver[H8686] H3027her out of mine hand.

H4885I will also cause all her mirthH7673to cease[H8689] H2282, her feast daysH2320, her new moonsH7676, and her sabbathsH4150, and all her solemn feasts.

H8074And I will destroy[H8689] H1612her vinesH8384and her fig treesH559, whereof she hath said[H8804] H866, These are my rewardsH157that my lovers[H8764] H5414have given[H8804] H7760me: and I will make[H8804] H3293them a forestH2416, and the beastsH7704of the fieldH398shall eat[H8804]  them.

H6485And I will visit[H8804] H3117upon her the daysH1168of BaalimH6999, wherein she burned incense[H8686] H5710to them, and she decked[H8799] H5141herself with her earringsH2484and her jewelsH3212, and she went[H8799] H310afterH157her lovers[H8764] H7911, and forgat[H8804] H5002me, saith[H8803] H3068the LORD.

H6601Therefore, behold, I will allure[H8764] H3212her, and bring[H8689] H4057her into the wildernessH1696, and speak[H8765] H3820comfortably unto her.

H5414And I will give[H8804] H3754her her vineyardsH6010from thence, and the valleyH5911of AchorH6607for a doorH8615of hopeH6030: and she shall sing[H8804] H3117there, as in the daysH5271of her youthH3117, and as in the dayH5927when she came up[H8800] H776out of the landH4714of Egypt.

H3117And it shall be at that dayH5002, saith[H8803] H3068the LORDH7121, that thou shalt call[H8799] H376me IshiH7121; and shalt call[H8799] H1180me no more Baali.

H5493For I will take away[H8689] H8034the namesH1168of BaalimH6310out of her mouthH2142, and they shall no more be remembered[H8735] H8034by their name.

H3117And in that dayH3772will I make[H8804] H1285a covenantH2416for them with the beastsH7704of the fieldH5775, and with the fowlsH8064of heavenH7431, and with the creeping thingsH127of the groundH7665: and I will break[H8799] H7198the bowH2719and the swordH4421and the battleH776out of the earthH7901, and will make them to lie down[H8689] H983safely.

H781And I will betroth[H8765] H5769thee unto me for everH781; yea, I will betroth[H8765] H6664thee unto me in righteousnessH4941, and in judgmentH2617, and in lovingkindnessH7356, and in mercies.

H781I will even betroth[H8765] H530thee unto me in faithfulnessH3045: and thou shalt know[H8804] H3068the LORD.

H3117And it shall come to pass in that dayH6030, I will hear[H8799] H5002, saith[H8803] H3068the LORDH6030, I will hear[H8799] H8064the heavensH6030, and they shall hear[H8799] H776the earth;

H776And the earthH6030shall hear[H8799] H1715the cornH8492, and the wineH3323, and the oilH6030; and they shall hear[H8799] H3157Jezreel.

H2232And I will sow[H8804] H776her unto me in the earthH7355; and I will have mercy[H8765] H7355upon her that had not obtained mercy[H8795] [H8677] H3818 H559; and I will say[H8804] H5971to them which were not my peopleH5971, Thou art my peopleH559; and they shall say[H8799] H430, Thou art my God.
