H5175Now the serpentH1961was[H8804] H6175more subtilH2416than any beastH7704of the fieldH3068which the LORDH430GodH6213had made[H8804] H559. And he said[H8799] H802unto the womanH637, YeaH430, hath GodH559said[H8804] H398, Ye shall not eat[H8799] H6086of every treeH1588of the garden?

H802And the womanH559said[H8799] H5175unto the serpentH398, We may eat[H8799] H6529of the fruitH6086of the treesH1588of the garden:

H6529But of the fruitH6086of the treeH8432which is in the midstH1588of the gardenH430, GodH559hath said[H8804] H398, Ye shall not eat[H8799] H5060of it, neither shall ye touch[H8799] H6435it, lestH4191ye die[H8799] .

H5175And the serpentH559said[H8799] H802unto the womanH4191, Ye shall not surely[H8800] H4191die[H8799] :

H430For GodH3045doth know[H8802] H3117that in the dayH398ye eat[H8800] H5869thereof, then your eyesH6491shall be opened[H8738] H430, and ye shall be as godsH3045, knowing[H8802] H2896goodH7451and evil.

H802And when the womanH7200saw[H8799] H6086that the treeH2896was goodH3978for foodH1931, and that itH8378was pleasantH5869to the eyesH6086, and a treeH2530to be desired[H8737] H7919to make one wise[H8687] H3947, she took[H8799] H6529of the fruit thereofH398, and did eat[H8799] H5414, and gave[H8799] H1571alsoH376unto her husbandH398with her; and he did eat[H8799] .

H5869And the eyesH8147of them bothH6491were opened[H8735] H1992, and theyH3045knew[H8799] H5903that they were nakedH8609; and they sewedH8384figH5929leavesH8609together[H8799] H6213, and made themselves[H8799] H2290aprons.

H8085And they heard[H8799] H6963the voiceH3068of the LORDH430GodH1980walking[H8693] H1588in the gardenH7307in the coolH3117of the dayH120: and AdamH802and his wifeH2244hid themselves[H8691] H6440from the presenceH3068of the LORDH430GodH8432amongstH6086the treesH1588of the garden.

H3068And the LORDH430GodH7121called[H8799] H120unto AdamH559, and said[H8799] H335unto him, Where art thou?

H559And he said[H8799] H8085, I heard[H8804] H6963thy voiceH1588in the gardenH3372, and I was afraid[H8799] H595, because IH5903was nakedH2244; and I hid myself[H8735] .

H559And he said[H8799] H4310, WhoH5046told[H8689] H5903thee that thou wast nakedH398? Hast thou eaten[H8804] H6086of the treeH6680, whereof I commanded thee[H8765] H1115that thou shouldest notH398eat[H8800] ?

H120And the manH559said[H8799] H802, The womanH5414whom thou gavest[H8804] H5978to be with meH1931, sheH5414gave[H8804] H6086me of the treeH398, and I did eat[H8799] .

H3068And the LORDH430GodH559said[H8799] H802unto the womanH6213, What is this that thou hast done[H8804] H802? And the womanH559said[H8799] H5175, The serpentH5377beguiled me[H8689] H398, and I did eat[H8799] .

H3068And the LORDH430GodH559said[H8799] H5175unto the serpentH859, Because thouH6213hast done[H8804] H779this, thou art cursed[H8803] H929above all cattleH2416, and above every beastH7704of the fieldH1512; upon thy bellyH3212shalt thou go[H8799] H6083, and dustH398shalt thou eat[H8799] H3117all the daysH2416of thy life:

H7896And I will put[H8799] H342enmityH802between thee and the womanH2233, and between thy seedH2233and her seedH7779; it shall bruise[H8799] H7218thy headH7779, and thou shalt bruise[H8799] H6119his heel.

H802Unto the womanH559he said[H8804] H7235, I will greatly[H8687] H7235multiply[H8686] H6093thy sorrowH2032and thy conceptionH6089; in sorrowH3205thou shalt bring forth[H8799] H1121childrenH8669; and thy desireH376shall be to thy husbandH4910, and he shall rule[H8799]  over thee.

H121And unto AdamH559he said[H8804] H8085, Because thou hast hearkened[H8804] H6963unto the voiceH802of thy wifeH398, and hast eaten[H8799] H6086of the treeH834, of whichH6680I commanded thee[H8765] H559, saying[H8800] H398, Thou shalt not eat[H8799] H779of it: cursed[H8803] H127is the groundH6093for thy sake; in sorrowH398shalt thou eat[H8799] H3605of it allH3117the daysH2416of thy life;

H6975Thorns alsoH1863and thistlesH6779shall it bring forth[H8686] H398to thee; and thou shalt eat[H8804] H6212the herbH7704of the field;

H2188In the sweatH639of thy faceH398shalt thou eat[H8799] H3899breadH5704, tillH7725thou return[H8800] H127unto the groundH3947; for out of it wast thou taken[H8795] H6083: for dustH859thouH6083art, and unto dustH7725shalt thou return[H8799] .

H120And AdamH7121called[H8799] H802his wife'sH8034nameH2332EveH517; because she was the motherH2416of all living.

H120Unto AdamH802also and to his wifeH3068did the LORDH430GodH6213make[H8799] H3801coatsH5785of skinsH3847, and clothed them[H8686] .

H3068And the LORDH430GodH559said[H8799] H2005, BeholdH120, the manH259is become as oneH3045of us, to know[H8800] H2896goodH7451and evilH7971: and now, lest he put forth[H8799] H3027his handH3947, and take[H8804] H6086also of the treeH2416of lifeH398, and eat[H8804] H2425, and live[H8804] H5769for ever:

H3068Therefore the LORDH430GodH7971sent him forth[H8762] H1588from the gardenH5731of EdenH5647, to till[H8800] H127the groundH3947from whence he was taken[H8795] .

H1644So he drove out[H8762] H120the manH7931; and he placed[H8686] H6924at the eastH1588of the gardenH5731of EdenH3742CherubimsH3858, and a flamingH2719swordH2015which turned every way[H8693] H8104, to keep[H8800] H1870the wayH6086of the treeH2416of life.
