Micaiah said, “Hear the message from the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on his throne. All of heaven’s army was standing around him, some on his left side and some on his right side.


God will show that he defeated his enemies.\par God will punish the people who\par fought against him. {\cf2\super [397]} \par


My Master said,\par “I’ll bring the enemy back from Bashan,\par I’ll bring the enemy from the west,\par


You say, “No, we need horses to run away on!” That is true—you will run away on horses. But the enemy will chase you. And the enemy will be faster than your horses.


In the year that King Uzziah {\cf2\super [58]} died, {\cf2\super [59]} I saw my Master. He was sitting on a very high and wonderful throne. {\cf2\super [60]} His long robe filled the temple. {\cf2\super [61]}


So the Lord says: “I will soon make something terrible happen to the people of Judah. They will not be able to escape! They will be sorry. And they will cry to me for help. But I will not listen to them.


You are afraid of the sword of war, but it will defeat you there. And you are worried about hunger, but you will be hungry in Egypt. You will die there.


People will be afraid and run away,\par and they will fall into the deep holes.\par If anyone climbs out of the deep holes,\par he will be caught in the traps.\par I will bring the year of punishment\par to Moab.”\par The Lord said these things.\par


Then the Glory of the Lord rose up off of the Cherub angels near the threshold of the door of the temple. Then the cloud filled the temple. And the bright light from the Glory of the Lord filled the whole courtyard.


Then I saw six men walking on the road from the upper gate. This gate is on the north side. Each man had his own deadly weapon in his hand. One of the men wore linen clothes. {\cf2\super [73]} He wore a scribe’s pen and ink set {\cf2\super [74]} at his waist. Those men went to the bronze altar \{in the temple\} and stood there.


Israel sinned, and I will punish them for their sins. I will also destroy the altars {\cf2\super [45]} at Bethel. {\cf2\super [46]} The horns of the altar {\cf2\super [47]} will be cut off and fall to the ground.


But the Lord says: ‘Your wife will become a prostitute {\cf2\super [96]} in the city. Your sons and daughters will be killed with swords. Other people will take your land and divide it among themselves. And you will die in a foreign {\cf2\super [97]} country. The people of Israel will definitely be taken from this country as prisoners.’”


Isaac’s high places {\cf2\super [89]} will be destroyed. Israel’s holy places will be made into a pile of rocks. I will attack and kill Jeroboam’s {\cf2\super [90]} family with swords.”


You came to save your people.\par You came to lead your chosen king {\cf2\super [18]} \par to victory.\par You killed the leader in every evil family,\par from the least important person\par to the most important in the land. {\cf2\super [19]} \par SELAH {\cf2\super [20]} \par


“At that time, I will take a lamp and search through Jerusalem. I will find all the people that are satisfied to live their own way. Those people say, ‘The Lord does nothing. He does not help and he does not hurt!’ I will find those people and I will punish them!


Then only sheep and wild animals will live in that ruined city. Owls and crows will sit on the columns that are left standing. Their calls will be heard coming through the windows. Crows will sit on the doorsteps. Black birds {\cf2\super [18]} will sit in those empty houses.


No man has ever seen God. But the only Son (Jesus) is God. He is very close to the Father {\cf2\super [7]} (God). And the Son has shown us what God is like.


I was on the way to Damascus. It was noon. I saw a light from the sky. The light was brighter than the sun. The light shined all around me and the men who were traveling with me.

Another angel came and stood at the altar. {\cf2\super [61]} This angel had a golden holder for incense. {\cf2\super [62]} The angel was given much incense to offer with the prayers of all God’s holy people. {\cf2\super [63]} The angel put this offering on the golden altar before the throne.
