"As for the leperwhohas the infection,his clothesshall be torn,and the hair of his headshall be uncovered,and he shall coverhis mustacheand cry,Unclean!Unclean!'
Now Reubenreturnedto the pit,and behold,Josephwas not in the pit;so he torehis garments.
Tamarputasheson her headand toreher long-sleevedgarmentwhich[was] on her; and she puther handon her headand wentaway, cryingaloudas she went.
Now there were fourleprousmenat the entranceof the gate;and they saidto oneanother,"Whydo we sithereuntilwe die?
Then Jobaroseand torehis robeand shavedhis head,and he fellto the groundand worshiped.
ThereforeI retract,And I repentin dustand ashes."
For I knowmy transgressions,And my sinis everbeforeme.
Behold,I was broughtforthin iniquity,And in sinmy motherconceivedme.
Depart,depart,goout from there,Touchnothingunclean;Goout of the midstof her, purifyyourselves, You who carrythe vesselsof the LORD.
Then I said,"Woeis me, for I am ruined!BecauseI am a manof uncleanlips,And I liveamonga peopleof uncleanlips;For my eyeshave seenthe King,the LORDof hosts."
For allof us have becomelike one who is unclean,And allour righteousdeedsare like a filthygarment;And allof us witherlike a leaf,And our iniquities,like the wind,takeus away.
"Let us liedownin our shame,and let our humiliationcoverus; for we have sinnedagainst the LORDour God,we and our fathers,from our youtheven to thisday.And we have not obeyedthe voiceof the LORDour God."
Yet the kingand allhis servantswho heardallthesewordswere not afraid,nordid they rendtheir garments.
"Depart!Unclean!"they criedof themselves. "Depart,depart,do not touch!"Sothey fledand wandered;[Men] among the nationssaid,"They shall not continueto dwell[with us]."
"Groansilently;makenomourningfor the dead.Bindon your turbanand putyour shoeson your feet,and do not cover[your] mustacheand do not eatthe breadof men."
You will doas I have done;you will not cover[your] mustacheand you will not eatthe breadof men.
And rendyour heartand not your garments."Now returnto the LORDyour God,For He is graciousand compassionate,Slowto anger,aboundingin lovingkindnessAnd relentingof evil.
Then Mosessaidto Aaronand to his sonsEleazarand Ithamar,"Do not uncoveryour headsnortearyour clothes,so that you will not dieand that He will not becomewrathfulagainstallthe congregation.But your kinsmen,the wholehouseof Israel,shall bewailthe burningwhichthe LORDhas broughtabout.
he is a leprousman,he is unclean.The priestshall surelypronouncehim unclean;his infectionis on his head.
The priestwho is the highestamonghis brothers,on whoseheadthe anointingoilhas been pouredand who has been consecratedto wearthe garments,shall not uncoverhis headnortearhis clothes;
The seerswill be ashamedAnd the divinerswill be embarrassed.Indeed, they will allcover[their] mouthsBecausethereis noanswerfrom God.
"Commandthe sonsof Israelthat they sendawayfrom the campeveryleperand everyonehaving a dischargeand everyonewho is uncleanbecause of a [dead] person.
As He entereda village,tenleprousmenwhostoodat a distancemetHim;
But when SimonPetersaw[that], he fell downat Jesus'feet,saying,"Go awayfrom me Lord,for I ama sinfulman,O Lord!"
