And He answeredand saidto them, "Goand reportto Johnwhatyou have seenand heard:[the] BLINDRECEIVE SIGHT,[the] lamewalk,[the] lepersare cleansed,and [the] deafhear,[the] deadare raisedup, [the] POORHAVE THE GOSPEL PREACHEDTO THEM.
To openblindeyes,To bringout prisonersfrom the dungeonAnd those who dwellin darknessfrom the prison.
[the] BLINDRECEIVE SIGHTand [the] lamewalk,[the] lepersare cleansedand [the] deafhear,[the] deadare raisedup, and [the] POORHAVE THE GOSPEL PREACHEDTO THEM.
He healsthe brokenheartedAnd bindsup their wounds.
"Behold,My Servant,whom I uphold;My chosenone [in whom] My souldelights.I have putMy Spiritupon Him; He will bringforthjusticeto the nations.
"[You know of] Jesusof Nazareth,howGodanointedHim with the HolySpiritand with power,and [how] He went aboutdoing goodand healingallwho were oppressedby the devil,for Godwas with Him.
For thussaysthe highand exaltedOne Who livesforever,whose nameis Holy,"I dwell[on] a highand holyplace, And [also] with the contriteand lowlyof spiritIn order to revivethe spiritof the lowlyAnd to revivethe heartof the contrite.
Sayingto those who are bound,'Goforth,'To those whoare in darkness,'Showyourselves.' Alongthe roadsthey will feed,And their pasture[will be] on allbareheights.
The LORDis nearto the brokenheartedAnd savesthose whoare crushedin spirit.
"Comenearto Me, listento this:From the firstI have not spokenin secret,From the timeit tookplace,I was there.And nowthe LordGODhas sentMe, and His Spirit."
to opentheir eyesso that they may turnfrom darknessto lightand from the dominionof Satanto God,that they may receiveforgivenessof sinsand an inheritanceamongthosewho have been sanctifiedby faithin Me.'
"For He whomGodhas sentspeaksthe wordsof God;for He givesthe Spiritwithoutmeasure.
After being baptized,Jesuscameup immediatelyfrom the water;and behold,the heavenswere opened,and he sawthe Spiritof Goddescendingas a dove[and] lightingon Him,
"Come,let us returnto the LORD.For He has torn[us], but He will healus; He has wounded[us], but He will bandageus.
You have lovedrighteousnessand hatedwickedness;ThereforeGod,Your God,has anointedYou With the oilof joyaboveYour fellows.
The afflictedwill eatand be satisfied;Those who seekHim will praisethe LORD.Let your heartliveforever!
To hearthe groaningof the prisoner,To setfreethosewhowere doomedto death,
The sacrificesof Godare a brokenspirit;A brokenand a contriteheart,O God,You will not despise.
"But as for Me, I have installedMy KingUpon Zion,My holymountain."
"As for Me, thisis My covenantwith them," saysthe LORD:"My Spiritwhichis upon you, and My wordswhichI have putin your mouthshall not departfrom your mouth,norfrom the mouthof your offspring,norfrom the mouthof your offspring'soffspring,"saysthe LORD,"from nowand forever."
"YOU HAVE LOVEDRIGHTEOUSNESSAND HATEDLAWLESSNESS;THEREFOREGOD,YOUR GOD,HAS ANOINTEDYOU WITH THE OILOF GLADNESSABOVEYOUR COMPANIONS."
But God,who comfortsthe depressed,comfortedus by the comingof Titus;
"Seventyweekshave been decreedfor your peopleand your holycity,to finishthe transgression,to makean endof sin,to makeatonementfor iniquity,to bringin everlastingrighteousness,to sealup visionand prophecyand to anointthe mostholy[place].
The humblehave seen[it and] are glad;You who seekGod,let your heartrevive.
"For My handmadeallthesethings,Thus allthesethingscameinto being,"declaresthe LORD."But to thisoneI will look,To him whois humbleand contriteof spirit,and whotremblesat My word.
He leadsthe humblein justice,And He teachesthe humbleHis way.
He foundfirsthis ownbrotherSimonand saidto him, "We have foundthe Messiah"(whichtranslatedmeansChrist).
For the LORDtakespleasurein His people;He will beautifythe afflictedoneswith salvation.
"For trulyin thiscitythere were gathered togetheragainstYour holyservantJesus,whomYou anointed,bothHerodand PontiusPilate,alongwith the Gentilesand the peoplesof Israel,
The wordwhichcameto Jeremiahfrom the LORDafterKingZedekiahhad madea covenantwith allthe peoplewhowere in Jerusalemto proclaimreleaseto them:
Breakforth,shoutjoyfullytogether,You wasteplacesof Jerusalem;For the LORDhas comfortedHis people,He has redeemedJerusalem.
Nowthe Lordis the Spirit,and wherethe Spiritof the Lordis, [there] is liberty.
The afflictedalso will increasetheir gladnessin the LORD,And the needyof mankindwill rejoicein the HolyOneof Israel.
O peoplein Zion,inhabitantin Jerusalem,you will weepnolonger.He will surelybe graciousto you at the soundof your cry;when He hearsit, He will answeryou.
The lightof the moonwill be as the lightof the sun,and the lightof the sunwill be seventimes[brighter], like the lightof sevendays,on the daythe LORDbindsup the fractureof His peopleand healsthe bruiseHe has inflicted.
As for a rogue,his weaponsare evil;He deviseswickedschemesTo destroy[the] afflictedwith slander,Even though [the] needyonespeakswhatis right.
Getyourself up on a highmountain,O Zion,bearerof good news,Liftup your voicemightily,O Jerusalem,bearerof good news;Lift[it] up, do not fear.Sayto the citiesof Judah,"Hereis your God!"
Howlovelyon the mountainsAre the feetof him who bringsgood news,Who announcespeaceAnd bringsgood newsof happiness,Who announcessalvation,[And] saysto Zion,"Your Godreigns!"
"I have seenhis ways,but I will healhim; I will leadhim and restorecomfortto him and to his mourners,
On the otherhandI am filledwith power--With the Spiritof the LORD--And with justiceand courageTo makeknownto Jacobhis rebelliousact,Even to Israelhis sin.
"You shall putthem on Aaronyour brotherand on his sonswith him; and you shall anointthem and ordainthem and consecratethem, that they may serveMe as priests.
"Then you shall takethe anointingoiland pourit on his headand anointhim.
Thisis that whichis consecratedto Aaronand that whichis consecratedto his sonsfrom the offeringsby fireto the LORD,in that daywhen he presentedthem to serveas prieststo the LORD.
O God,when You wentforthbeforeYour people,When You marchedthrough the wilderness,Selah.
So Jehoiachin changedhis prisonclothes,and hadhis mealsin the king's presenceregularlyallthe daysof his life.
