Ruth 2 - King James Bible with Strong Numbers

H5281And NaomiH4129had a kinsman[H8675] H3045 [H8794] H376of her husband'sH1368, a mightyH376manH2428of wealthH4940, of the familyH458of ElimelechH8034; and his nameH1162was Boaz.

H7327And RuthH4125the MoabitessH559said[H8799] H5281unto NaomiH3212, Let me now go[H8799] H7704to the fieldH3950, and glean[H8762] H7641ears of cornH310afterH5869him in whose sightH4672I shall find[H8799] H2580graceH559. And she said[H8799] H3212unto her, Go[H8798] H1323, my daughter.

H3212And she went[H8799] H935, and came[H8799] H3950, and gleaned[H8762] H7704in the fieldH310afterH7114the reapers[H8802] H4745: and her hapH7136was to light[H8799] H2513on a partH7704of the fieldH1162belonging unto BoazH4940, who was of the kindredH458of Elimelech.

H1162And, behold, BoazH935came[H8802] H1035from BethlehemH559, and said[H8799] H7114unto the reapers[H8802] H3068, The LORDH559be with you. And they answered[H8799] H3068him, The LORDH1288bless[H8762]  thee.

H559Then said[H8799] H1162BoazH5288unto his servantH5324that was set[H8737] H7114over the reapers[H8802] H5291, Whose damsel is this?

H5288And the servantH5324that was set[H8737] H7114over the reapers[H8802] H6030answered[H8799] H559and said[H8799] H4125, It is the MoabitishH5291damselH7725that came back[H8804] H5281with NaomiH7704out of the countryH4124of Moab:

H559And she said[H8799] H3950, I pray you, let me glean[H8762] H622and gather[H8804] H310afterH7114the reapers[H8802] H6016among the sheavesH935: so she came[H8799] H5975, and hath continued[H8799] H227evenH1242from the morningH3427until now, that she tarried[H8800] H4592a littleH1004in the house.

H559Then said[H8799] H1162BoazH7327unto RuthH8085, Hearest[H8804] H1323thou not, my daughterH3212? Go[H8799] H3950not to glean[H8800] H312in anotherH7704fieldH5674, neither go[H8799] H1692from hence, but abide[H8799] H5291here fast by my maidens:

H5869Let thine eyesH7704be on the fieldH7114that they do reap[H8799] H1980, and go[H8804] H310thou afterH6680them: have I not charged[H8765] H5288the young menH5060that they shall not touch[H8800] H6770thee? and when thou art athirst[H8804] H1980, go[H8804] H3627unto the vesselsH8354, and drink[H8804] H5288of that which the young menH7579have drawn[H8799] .

H5307Then she fell[H8799] H6440on her faceH7812, and bowed[H8691] H776herself to the groundH559, and said[H8799] H4672unto him, Why have I found[H8804] H2580graceH5869in thine eyesH5234, that thou shouldest take knowledge[H8687] H5237of me, seeing I am a stranger?

H1162And BoazH6030answered[H8799] H559and said[H8799] H5046unto her, It hath fully[H8715] H5046been shewed[H8717] H6213me, all that thou hast done[H8804] H2545unto thy mother in lawH310sinceH4194the deathH376of thine husbandH5800: and how thou hast left[H8799] H1thy fatherH517and thy motherH776, and the landH4138of thy nativityH3212, and art come[H8799] H5971unto a peopleH3045which thou knewest[H8804] H8543not heretoforeH8032 .

H3068The LORDH7999recompense[H8762] H6467thy workH8003, and a fullH4909rewardH3068be given thee of the LORDH430GodH3478of IsraelH3671, under whose wingsH935thou art come[H8804] H2620to trust[H8800] .

H559Then she said[H8799] H4672, Let me find[H8799] H2580favourH5869in thy sightH113, my lordH5162; for that thou hast comforted[H8765] H1696me, and for that thou hast spoken[H8765] H3820friendlyH8198unto thine handmaidH259, though I be not like unto oneH8198of thine handmaidens.

H1162And BoazH559said[H8799] H6256unto her, At mealtimeH400 H5066come[H8798] H1988thou hitherH398, and eat[H8804] H3899of the breadH2881, and dip[H8804] H6595thy morselH2558in the vinegarH3427. And she sat[H8799] H6654besideH7114the reapers[H8802] H6642: and he reached[H8799] H7039her parchedH398corn, and she did eat[H8799] H7646, and was sufficed[H8799] H3498, and left[H8686] .

H6965And when she was risen up[H8799] H3950to glean[H8763] H1162, BoazH6680commanded[H8762] H5288his young menH559, saying[H8800] H3950, Let her glean[H8762] H6016even among the sheavesH3637, and reproach[H8686]  her not:

H7997And let fall[H8799] H6653also some of the handfulsH7997of purpose[H8800] H5800for her, and leave[H8804] H3950them, that she may glean[H8765] H1605them, and rebuke[H8799]  her not.

H3950So she gleaned[H8762] H7704in the fieldH6153until evenH2251, and beat out[H8799] H3950that she had gleaned[H8765] H374: and it was about an ephahH8184of barley.

H5375And she took it up[H8799] H935, and went[H8799] H5892into the cityH2545: and her mother in lawH7200saw[H8799] H3950what she had gleaned[H8765] H3318: and she brought forth[H8686] H5414, and gave[H8799] H3498to her that she had reserved[H8689] H7648after she was sufficed.

H2545And her mother in lawH559said[H8799] H3950unto her, Where hast thou gleaned[H8765] H3117to dayH375? and whereH6213wroughtest[H8804] H1288thou? blessed[H8803] H5234be he that did take knowledge[H8688] H5046of thee. And she shewed[H8686] H2545her mother in lawH6213with whom she had wrought[H8804] H559, and said[H8799] H376, The man'sH8034nameH6213with whom I wrought[H8804] H3117to dayH1162is Boaz.

H5281And NaomiH559said[H8799] H3618unto her daughter in lawH1288, Blessed[H8803] H3068be he of the LORDH5800, who hath not left off[H8804] H2617his kindnessH2416to the livingH4191and to the dead[H8801] H5281. And NaomiH559said[H8799] H376unto her, The manH7138is near of kinH1350unto us, one of our next kinsmen[H8802] .

H7327And RuthH4125the MoabitessH559said[H8799] H559, He said[H8804] H1692unto me also, Thou shalt keep fast[H8799] H5288by my young menH3615, until they have ended[H8765] H7105all my harvest.

H5281And NaomiH559said[H8799] H7327unto RuthH3618her daughter in lawH2896, It is goodH1323, my daughterH3318, that thou go out[H8799] H5291with his maidensH6293, that they meet[H8799] H312thee not in any otherH7704field.

H1692So she kept fast[H8799] H5291by the maidensH1162of BoazH3950to glean[H8763] H3615unto the end[H8800] H8184of barleyH7105harvestH2406and of wheatH7105harvestH3427; and dwelt[H8799] H2545with her mother in law.
