¹ H4872And MosesH1696spake[H8762] H7218unto the headsH4294of the tribesH1121concerning the childrenH3478of IsraelH559, saying[H8800] H1697, This is the thingH3068which the LORDH6680hath commanded[H8765] .

² H376If a manH5087vow[H8799] H5088a vowH3068unto the LORDH7650, or swear[H8736] H7621an oathH631to bind[H8800] H5315his soulH632with a bondH2490; he shall not break[H8686] H1697his wordH6213, he shall do[H8799] H3318according to all that proceedeth[H8802] H6310out of his mouth.

³ H802If a womanH5087also vow[H8799] H5088a vowH3068unto the LORDH631, and bind[H8804] H632herself by a bondH1, being in her father'sH1004houseH5271in her youth;

⁴ H1And her fatherH8085hear[H8804] H5088her vowH632, and her bondH631wherewith she hath bound[H8804] H5315her soulH1, and her fatherH2790shall hold his peace[H8689] H5088at her: then all her vowsH6965shall stand[H8804] H632, and every bondH631wherewith she hath bound[H8804] H5315her soulH6965shall stand[H8799] .

⁵ H1But if her fatherH5106disallow[H8689] H3117her in the dayH8085that he heareth[H8800] H5088; not any of her vowsH632, or of her bondsH631wherewith she hath bound[H8804] H5315her soulH6965, shall stand[H8799] H3068: and the LORDH5545shall forgive[H8799] H1her, because her fatherH5106disallowed[H8689]  her.

⁶ H376And if she had at all an husbandH5088, when she vowedH4008, or utteredH8193ought out of her lipsH631, wherewith she bound[H8804] H5315her soul;

⁷ H376And her husbandH8085heard[H8804] H2790it, and held his peace[H8689] H3117at her in the dayH8085that he heard[H8800] H5088it : then her vowsH6965shall stand[H8804] H632, and her bondsH631wherewith she bound[H8804] H5315her soulH6965shall stand[H8799] .

⁸ H376But if her husbandH5106disallowed[H8686] H3117her on the dayH8085that he heard[H8800] H5088it; then he shall make her vow which she vowedH4008, and that which she utteredH8193with her lipsH631, wherewith she bound[H8804] H5315her soulH6565, of none effect[H8689] H3068: and the LORDH5545shall forgive[H8799]  her.

⁹ H5088But every vowH490of a widowH1644, and of her that is divorced[H8803] H631, wherewith they have bound[H8804] H5315their soulsH6965, shall stand[H8799]  against her.

¹⁰ H5087And if she vowed[H8804] H376in her husband'sH1004houseH631, or bound[H8804] H5315her soulH632by a bondH7621with an oath;

¹¹ H376And her husbandH8085heard[H8804] H2790it, and held his peace[H8689] H5106at her, and disallowed[H8689] H5088her not: then all her vowsH6965shall stand[H8799] H632, and every bondH631wherewith she bound[H8804] H5315her soulH6965shall stand[H8804] .

¹² H376But if her husbandH6565hath utterly[H8687] H6565made them void[H8686] H3117on the dayH8085he heard[H8800] H4161them; then whatsoever proceededH8193out of her lipsH5088concerning her vowsH632, or concerning the bondH5315of her soulH6965, shall not stand[H8799] H376: her husbandH6565hath made them void[H8689] H3068; and the LORDH5545shall forgive[H8799]  her.

¹³ H5088Every vowH632, and every bindingH7621oathH6031to afflict[H8763] H5315the soulH376, her husbandH6965may establish[H8686] H376it, or her husbandH6565may make it void[H8686] .

¹⁴ H376But if her husbandH2790altogether[H8687] H2790hold his peace[H8686] H3117at her from dayH3117to dayH6965; then he establisheth[H8689] H5088all her vowsH632, or all her bondsH6965, which are upon her: he confirmeth[H8689] H2790them, because he held his peace[H8689] H3117at her in the dayH8085that he heard[H8800]  them .

¹⁵ H6565But if he shall any ways[H8687] H6565make them void[H8686] H310afterH8085that he hath heard[H8800] H5375them; then he shall bear[H8804] H5771her iniquity.

¹⁶ H2706These are the statutesH3068, which the LORDH6680commanded[H8765] H4872MosesH376, between a manH802and his wifeH1, between the fatherH1323and his daughterH5271, being yet in her youthH1in her father'sH1004house.
