Yisra'el said to Yosef, *Behold, I am dying, but God will be with you, and bring you again to the land of your fathers.


Behold, God is with us at our head, and his Kohanim with the trumpets of alarm to sound an alarm against you. Children of Yisra'el, don't you fight against the LORD, the God of your fathers; for you shall not prosper.

Yet you wouldn't go up, but rebelled against the mitzvah of the LORD your God:


Then I said to you, Don't dread, neither be afraid of them.


Be strong and of good courage, don't be afraid, nor be scared of them: for the LORD your God, he it is who does go with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you.


The LORD, he it is who does go before you; he will be with you, he will not fail you, neither forsake you: don't be afraid, neither be dismayed.


I will make my arrows drunk with blood. My sword shall devour flesh with the blood of the slain and the captives, from the head of the leaders of the enemy.


you shall not be afraid of them: you shall well remember what the LORD your God did to Par`oh, and to all Egypt;


You shall not be scared of them; for the LORD your God is in the midst of you, a great and awesome God.


Remember, don't forget, how you provoked the LORD your God to wrath in the wilderness: from the day that you went forth out of the land of Egypt, until you came to this place, you have been rebellious against the LORD.


Only let your manner of life be worthy of the Good News of Messiah, that, whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your state, that you stand firm in one spirit, with one soul striving for the faith of the Good News;


No man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life. As I was with Moshe, so I will be with you. I will not fail you nor forsake you.


Now therefore give me this hill country, of which the LORD spoke in that day; for you heard in that day how the `Anakim were there, and cities great and fortified: it may be that the LORD will be with me, and I shall drive them out, as the LORD spoke.
