But the Lord says:\par “Bad people stole from the poor people.\par They took things from helpless people.\par But now I will stand and defend those weary (tired) people.”\par
The Lord does right things for people\par who have been hurt.\par God gives food to hungry people.\par The Lord frees people locked in prison.\par
With my whole self I will say,\par “Lord, there is no one like you.\par You save a poor person from people that are stronger.\par You take things from strong people,\par and you give those things\par to that poor, helpless person.”\par
Our king helps the helpless.\par Our king helps poor, helpless people.\par
Let the king be fair to the poor people.\par Let him help the helpless.\par Let him punish the people who hurt them.\par
Many people are trapped and hurting\par because they have many troubles.\par Those people are crushed by the weight of their problems.\par Lord, be a safe place for them to run to.\par
The person that causes trouble for poor people shows that he does not respect God—God made both people. But if a person is kind to poor people, then he shows honor to God.

People in Jerusalem don’t respect their parents. They hurt foreigners in that city. They cheat orphans and widows {\cf2\super [170]} in that place.
Later the servant said to him, ‘Master, I did what you told me to do, but we still have places for more people.’
But you show no respect to the poor man. And you know that the rich people are the people who always try to control your lives. And they are the people who take you to court.
