Psalm 103 - Easy To Read Version

¹ My soul, praise the Lord!\par Every part of me, praise his holy name!\par

² My soul, praise the Lord!\par And don’t forget that he is truly kind.\par

³ God forgives us for all the sins we do.\par He heals all our sicknesses.\par

⁴ God saves our life from the grave.\par And he gives us love and compassion.\par

⁵ God gives us plenty of good things.\par He makes us young again,\par like an eagle.\par

⁶ The Lord is fair.\par God brings justice to people\par that have been hurt by other people.\par

⁷ God taught his laws to Moses.\par God let Israel see the powerful things\par he can do!\par

⁸ The Lord is compassionate and merciful.\par God is patient and full of love.\par

⁹ The Lord does not always criticize.\par The Lord does not stay angry at us forever.\par

¹⁰ We sinned against God\par but he didn’t give us\par the punishment we deserved.\par

¹¹ God’s love for his followers\par is as high above us\par as heaven is above the earth.\par

¹² And God has taken our sins\par as far away from us\par as the east is from the west.\par

¹³ The Lord is as kind to his followers\par as a father is to his children.\par

¹⁴ God knows all about us.\par God knows we are made from dust.\par

¹⁵ God knows our lives are short.\par He knows our lives are like grass.\par

¹⁶ God knows we are like a little wildflower.\par That flower grows quickly.\par Then the hot wind blows\par and the flower dies.\par Soon, you can’t even tell\par where the flower was growing.\par

¹⁷ But the Lord has always loved his followers.\par And he will continue to love his followers\par forever and ever!\par God will be good to their children\par and to their children’s children.\par

¹⁸ God is good to people\par who obey his Agreement.\par God is good to people\par who obey his commands.\par

¹⁹ God’s throne is in heaven.\par And he rules over everything.\par

²⁰ Angels, praise the Lord!\par You angels are the powerful soldiers\par who obey God’s commands.\par You listen to God and obey his commands.\par

²¹ Praise the Lord, all his armies. {\cf2\super [540]} \par You are his servants.\par You do the things that God wants.\par

²² The Lord made everything in every place.\par God rules everything in every place.\par And all those things should praise the Lord!\par My soul, praise the Lord!\par
