For he will stand at the right hand of the needy, To save him from them that judge his soul.


Because of the oppression of the poor, because of the sighing of the needy, Now will I arise, saith Jehovah; I will set him in the safety he panteth for.


Who executeth justice for the oppressed; Who giveth food to the hungry. Jehovah looseth the prisoners;


All my bones shall say, Jehovah, who is like unto thee, Who deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, Yea, the poor and the needy from him that robbeth him?


For he will deliver the needy when he crieth, And the poor, that hath no helper.


He will judge the poor of the people, He will save the children of the needy, And will break in pieces the oppressor.


Jehovah also will be a high tower for the oppressed, A high tower in times of trouble;


He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker; But he that hath mercy on the needy honoreth him.


Remove not the ancient landmark; And enter not into the fields of the fatherless:


In thee have they set light by father and mother; in the midst of thee have they dealt by oppression with the sojourner; in thee have they wronged the fatherless and the widow.


And the servant said, Lord, what thou didst command is done, and yet there is room.


But ye have dishonored the poor man. Do not the rich oppress you, and themselves drag you before the judgment-seats?
