Then Satan went away from the Lord. Satan gave Job painful sores. The painful sores were all over Job’s body from the bottom of his feet to the top of his head.


The Lord lifts up people who have fallen.\par The Lord helps people who are in trouble.\par


The Lord helps blind people see again.\par The Lord helps people who are in trouble.\par The Lord loves good people.\par


I am bent and bowed down.\par I am depressed all day long.\par


Why should I be so sad?\par Why should I be so upset?\par I should wait for God’s help.\par I will get the chance to praise him yet.\par He will save me!\par

Jesus went everywhere in the country of Galilee. Jesus taught in the synagogues {\cf2\super [54]} and told the Good News about the kingdom of heaven. And Jesus healed all the people’s diseases and sicknesses.


Jesus asked the boy’s father, “How long has this been happening to the boy?”


When Jesus saw her, he called to her, “Woman, your sickness has gone away from you!”


This woman that I healed is our Jewish sister. {\cf2\super [240]} But Satan (the devil) has held her for 18 years. Surely it is not wrong for her to be made free from her sickness on a Sabbath day!”


When these things begin to happen, don’t fear. Look up and be happy! Don’t worry. Be happy, because you know that the time when God will free you is near!”


There were also some women with him. Jesus had healed these women of sicknesses and evil spirits \{from the devil\}. One of the women was named Mary Magdalene. {\cf2\super [147]} Seven demons had come out of her.


When Jesus got out of the boat, a man from that town came to Jesus. This man had demons {\cf2\super [150]} inside him. For a long time he had worn no clothes. He lived in the caves where dead people are buried, not in a house.


A woman was there who had been bleeding for twelve years. She had spent all her money on doctors, but no doctor was able to heal her.


When they were going into the temple yard, a man was there. This man had been crippled all his life. He could not walk, so some friends carried him. His friends brought him to the temple every day. They put the crippled man by one of the gates outside the temple. It was called Beautiful Gate. There the man begged for money from the people going to the temple.
