¹ Lord, don’t correct me in anger.\par Don’t be angry and punish {\cf2\super [31]} me.\par

² Lord, be kind to me.\par I am sick and weak.\par Heal me!\par My bones are shaking.\par

³ My whole body is shaking.\par Lord, how long \{until you heal me\}? {\cf2\super [32]} \par

⁴ Lord, come back\par and make me strong again!\par You are very kind,\par so save me.\par

⁵ Dead people in their graves\par don’t remember you.\par People in the place of death\par don’t praise you.\par \{So heal me!\}\par

⁶ Lord, all night I prayed to you.\par My bed is wet from my tears.\par Tears are dripping from my bed.\par I am weak from crying to you.\par

⁷ My enemies have given me many troubles.\par This made me very sad with grief.\par Now my eyes are weak from crying.\par

⁸ Go away you bad people!\par Why? Because the Lord heard my cries.\par

⁹ The Lord heard my prayer.\par And the Lord accepted and answered my prayer.\par

¹⁰ All my enemies will be upset and disappointed.\par Something will happen suddenly,\par and they will all leave in shame.\par
