My eyes have become almost blind\par because I am very sad and in great pain.\par My whole body has become very thin,\par like a shadow.\par


God, you saved my soul from death.\par You stopped my tears.\par You kept me from falling.\par


Lord, don’t let bad people come near me.\par And I will obey my God’s commands.\par


God, kill the wicked people.\par Take those murderers away from me.\par


The Lord is close to every person\par who calls to him for help.\par The Lord is close to every person\par who truly worships him.\par


I will pray to the Lord.\par And he will answer me from his holy mountain!\par \i (SELAH {\cf2\super [9]})\i0 \par


My life is ending in sadness.\par My years are passing away in sighing. {\cf2\super [190]} \par My troubles are taking away my strength.\par My strength is leaving me. {\cf2\super [191]} \par


You know I am very upset.\par You know how much I have cried.\par Surely you have kept an account\par of all my tears.\par


The Lord’s people will live in Jerusalem on Mount Zion. {\cf2\super [279]} You people will not continue crying. The Lord will hear your crying and he will comfort you. The Lord will hear you, and he will help you.

“Then the king will say to those bad people on his left, ‘Go away from me. God has already decided that you will be punished. Go into the fire that burns forever. That fire was prepared for the devil and his angels.


Then I will tell those people clearly, ‘Go away from me, you people that do wrong. I never knew you.’


Then he will say to you, ‘I don’t know you! Where did you come from? Go away from me! You are all people that do wrong!’


While Christ lived on earth he prayed to God and asked God for help. God is the One who could save him from death, and Jesus prayed to God with loud cries and tears. And God answered Jesus’ prayers because Jesus was humble and did everything God wanted.
