My eye is dim through indignation: and my limbs are brought as it were to nothing.


But thou, O Lord art my protector, my glory, and the lifter-up of my head.


Many are the scourges of the sinner, but mercy shall encompass him that hopeth in the Lord.


My heart is ready, O God, my heart is ready: I will Sing, and rehearse a psalm.


For the people of Sion shall dwell in Jerusalem. Weeping thou shalt not weep: he will surely have pity on thee. At the voice of thy cry, as soon as he shall hear, he will answer thee.


And said: I beseech thee, O Lord, remember how I have walked before thee in truth, and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Ezechias wept with great weeping.


Go and say to Ezechias: Thus saith the Lord the God of David thy father: I have heard thy prayer, and I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add to thy days fifteen years.

Then he shall say to them also that shall be on his left hand: Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels.

And he shall say to you: I know you not, whence you are: depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.


Who in the days of his flesh, with a strong cry and tears, offering up prayers and supplications to him that was able to save him from death, was heard for his reverence.
