Lord, use your power and remove\par bad people from the \{land of\} the living.\par


If those people like something they see,\par they go and take it.\par They do whatever they want to do.\par


It is better to have only a dry piece of bread to eat in peace than to have a whole house full of food with everyone arguing.


“I had to offer a fellowship sacrifice today. I gave what I promised to give.


So young people, enjoy yourselves while you are young. Be happy! Do whatever your heart leads you to do. Do whatever you want. But remember that God will judge you for everything you do.


But look! The people are happy now. The people are rejoicing. \{The people are saying\}:


The Lord says, “The women in Zion {\cf2\super [33]} have become very proud. They walk around with their heads in the air, acting like they are better than other people. Those women flirt with their eyes. And they dance around making noise with their ankle bracelets.”


So now, ‘nice lady’ listen to me!\par You feel safe and you tell yourself,\par ‘I am the only important person.\par No one else is important like me.\par I will never be a widow.\par I will always have children.’\par


They come and say,\par “I will drink some wine.\par I will drink some beer.\par I will do the same thing tomorrow.\par Only, I will drink even more.”\par


But you know my heart, Lord.\par You see me and test my mind.\par Drag those evil people away\par like sheep to be butchered.\par Choose them for the day of slaughter.\par


Shepherds (leaders), you should be leading\par the sheep (people).\par Start crying you great leaders!\par Roll around on the ground in pain,\par you leaders of the sheep (people).\par Why? Because it is now time\par for your slaughter. {\cf2\super [203]} \par \{I will scatter your sheep.\}\par They will scatter everywhere,\par like pieces flying from a broken jar.\par


\{God said,\} “Your sister Sodom and her daughters were proud, they had too much to eat, and too much time on their hands. And they did not help poor, helpless people.


The Lord my Master said these things, “Son of man, {\cf2\super [305]} speak to all the birds and wild animals for me. Tell them, ‘Come here! Come here! Gather around. Come eat this sacrifice I am preparing for you. There will be a very big sacrifice on the mountains of Israel. Come, eat the meat and drink the blood.


Oh, it will be very bad for you people taking it easy in Zion, {\cf2\super [75]} \par and for you people who feel so safe on Mount Samaria.\par You are “important” leaders\par of the most important nation!\par The “House of Israel”\par comes to you \{for advice\}!\par


Jesus said, “There was a rich man that always dressed in the finest clothes. He was so rich that he was able to enjoy all the best things every day.


But Abraham said, ‘My child, remember when you lived? You had all the good things in life. But all the bad things happened to Lazarus. Now he is comforted here, and you are suffering.


We should live in a right way, like people that belong to the day. We should not have wild and wasteful parties. We should not be drunk. We should not do sexual sins or sin in any way with our bodies. We should not cause arguments and trouble or be jealous.


But the widow who uses her life to please herself is really dead while she is still living.


In the last days people will turn against their friends. They will do foolish things without thinking. They will be conceited and proud. People will love pleasure—they will not love God.


These false teachers have made many people suffer. So they themselves will suffer. That is their pay for what they have done. These false teachers think it is fun to do evil things openly \{where all people can see\}. They enjoy the evil things that please them. So they are like dirty spots and stains among you—\{they bring shame to you\} in the meals that you eat together.


She (Babylon) gave herself much glory\par and rich living.\par Give her that much suffering and sadness.\par She says to herself, ‘I am a queen\par sitting \{on my throne\}.\par I am not a widow {\cf2\super [131]} ;\par I will never be sad.’\par


Abigail went back to Nabal. Nabal was in the house. Nabal had been eating like a king. Nabal was drunk and feeling good. So Abigail told Nabal nothing until the next morning.


David gave them this message for Nabal: “I hope you and your family are fine. I hope that everything you own is fine.
