"Onlyyou shall not eatfleshwith its life,[that is], its blood.
There [were] alsomanyburntofferingswith the fatof the peaceofferingsand with the libationsfor the burntofferings.Thus the serviceof the houseof the LORDwas established[again].
Then he saidto them, "Go,eatof the fat,drinkof the sweet,and sendportionsto him who has nothingprepared;for this dayis holyto our Lord.Do not be grieved,for the joyof the LORDis your strength."
"In the tentof meeting,outsidethe veilwhichis beforethe testimony,Aaronand his sonsshall keepit in orderfrom eveningto morningbeforethe LORD;[it shall be] a perpetualstatutethroughout their generationsfor the sonsof Israel.
"They shall be on Aaronand on his sonswhen they enterthe tentof meeting,orwhen they approachthe altarto ministerin the holyplace, so that they do not incurguiltand die.It [shall be] a statuteforeverto him and to his descendantsafterhim.
"Thereforesayto them, 'Thussaysthe LordGOD,"You eat[meat] with the blood[in it], liftup your eyesto your idolsas you shedblood.Should you then possessthe land?
"But the Leviticalpriests,the sonsof Zadok,whokeptchargeof My sanctuarywhen the sonsof Israelwentastrayfrom Me, shall comenearto Me to ministerto Me; and they shall standbeforeMe to offerMe the fatand the blood,"declaresthe LordGOD.
when you broughtin foreigners,uncircumcisedin heartand uncircumcisedin flesh,to be in My sanctuaryto profaneit, [even] My house,when you offeredMy food,the fatand the blood;for they madeMy covenantvoid--[this] in additionto allyour abominations.
"The thighofferedby liftingup and the breastofferedby wavingthey shall bringalongwith the offeringsby fireof the portionsof fat,to presentas a waveofferingbeforethe LORD;so it shall be a thingperpetuallydueyou and your sonswith you, justas the LORDhas commanded."
"Do not drinkwineor strongdrink,neither you noryour sonswith you, when you comeinto the tentof meeting,so that you will not die--it is a perpetualstatutethroughout your generations--
"[This] shall be a permanentstatutefor you: in the seventhmonth,on the tenthday of the month,you shall humbleyour soulsand not doanywork,whether the native,or the alienwho sojournsamongyou;
"Now you shall havethisas a permanentstatute,to makeatonementfor the sonsof Israelfor alltheir sinsonceevery year."And justas the LORDhad commandedMoses,[so] he did.
"They shall nolongersacrificetheir sacrificesto the goatdemonswith whichthey playthe harlot.Thisshall be a permanentstatuteto them throughout their generations."'
You shall not eat[anything] with the blood,norpracticedivinationor soothsaying.
Untilthissameday,untilyou have broughtin the offeringof your God,you shall eatneitherbreadnorroastedgrainnornewgrowth.It is to be a perpetualstatutethroughout your generationsin allyour dwellingplaces.
On thissamedayyou shall makea proclamationas well; you are to havea holyconvocation.You shall donolaboriouswork.It is to be a perpetualstatutein allyour dwellingplacesthroughout your generations.
"Outsidethe veilof testimonyin the tentof meeting,Aaronshall keepit in orderfrom eveningto morningbeforethe LORDcontinually;[it shall be] a perpetualstatutethroughout your generations.
"It shall be for Aaronand his sons,and they shall eatit in a holyplace;for it is mostholyto him from the LORD'Sofferingsby fire,[his] portionforever."
The priestshall offerthem up in smokeon the altar[as] food,an offeringby firefor a soothingaroma;allfatis the LORD'S.
Then the LORDspoketo Moses,saying,
Then one [of them] shall liftup from it a handfulof the fineflourof the grain offering,with its oiland allthe incensethat is on the grain offering,and he shall offer[it] up in smokeon the altar,a soothingaroma,as its memorialofferingto the LORD.
Everymaleamong the sonsof Aaronmay eatit; it is a permanentordinancethroughout your generations,from the offeringsby fireto the LORD.Whoevertouchesthem will becomeconsecrated.'"
"The anointedpriestwho will be in his placeamonghis sonsshall offerit. By a permanentordinanceit shall be entirelyofferedup in smoketo the LORD.
"Speakto the sonsof Israel,saying,'You shall not eatanyfat[from] an ox,a sheepor a goat.
For I have takenthe breastof the waveofferingand the thighof the contributionfrom the sonsof Israelfrom the sacrificesof their peaceofferings,and have giventhem to Aaronthe priestand to his sonsas [their] dueforeverfrom the sonsof Israel.
Thesethe LORDhad commandedto be giventhem from the sonsof Israelin the daythat He anointedthem. It is [their] dueforeverthroughout their generations.'"
So it shall be a perpetualstatutefor them. And he who sprinklesthe waterfor impurityshall washhis clothes,and he who touchesthe waterfor impurityshall be uncleanuntilevening.
ThenJesussaidto His disciples,"Ifanyonewishesto comeafterMe, he must denyhimself,and takeup his crossand followMe.
for thisis My bloodof the covenant,which is pouredout for manyfor forgivenessof sins.
that you abstainfrom things sacrificed to idolsand from bloodand from things strangledand from fornication;if you keepyourselvesfreefrom suchthings,you will dowell.Farewell."
In Him we haveredemptionthroughHis blood,the forgivenessof our trespasses,accordingto the richesof His grace
sothat He might sanctifyher, having cleansedher by the washingof waterwith the word,
"Onlyyou shall not eatthe blood;you are to pourit out on the groundlike water.
"Onlybe surenot to eatthe blood,for the bloodis the life,and you shall not eatthe lifewith the flesh.
"You shall not eatit; you shall pourit out on the groundlike water.
"Onlyyou shall not eatits blood;you are to pourit out on the groundlike water.
Curdsof cows,and milkof the flock,With fatof lambs,And rams,the breedof Bashan,and goats,With the finestof the wheat--And of the bloodof grapesyou drankwine.
For everythingcreatedby Godis good,and nothingis to be rejectedif it is receivedwith gratitude;
