Afterthesethingsthe wordof the LORDcameto Abramin a vision,saying,"Do not fear,Abram,I am a shieldto you; Your rewardshall be verygreat."
The LORDappearedto him the samenightand said,"I am the Godof your fatherAbraham;Do not fear,for I am with you. I will blessyou, and multiplyyour descendants,For the sakeof My servantAbraham."
and saidto them, "I seeyour father'sattitude,that it is not [friendly] towardme as formerly,but the Godof my fatherhas beenwith me.
But his bowremainedfirm,And his armswere agile,From the handsof the MightyOneof Jacob(From thereis the Shepherd,the Stoneof Israel),
"They confrontedme in the dayof my calamity,But the LORDwas my support.
Then the Spiritcameupon Amasai,who was the chiefof the thirty,[and he said], "[We] are yours, O David,And with you, O sonof Jesse!Peace,peaceto you, And peaceto him who helpsyou; Indeed,your Godhelpsyou!" Then Davidreceivedthem and madethem captainsof the band.
You [need] not fightin this[battle]; stationyourselves, standand seethe salvationof the LORDon your behalf,O Judahand Jerusalem.'Do not fearor be dismayed;tomorrowgoout to facethem, for the LORDis with you."
"With him is [only] an armof flesh,but with us is the LORDour Godto helpus and to fightour battles."And the peoplereliedon the wordsof Hezekiahkingof Judah.
Rescueme and deliverme out of the handof aliens,WhosemouthspeaksdeceitAnd whose righthandis a righthandof falsehood.

The LORDsustainsallwho fallAnd raisesup allwho are boweddown.

Blessedis the nationwhoseGodis the LORD,The peoplewhom He has chosenfor His own inheritance.
For the armsof the wickedwill be broken,But the LORDsustainsthe righteous.
Whenhe falls,he will not be hurledheadlong,Becausethe LORDis the One who holdshis hand.
As for me, You upholdme in my integrity,And You setme in Your presenceforever.
The LORDof hostsis with us; The Godof Jacobis our stronghold.Selah.

Mosessaidto the people,"Do not be afraid;for Godhas comein orderto testyou, and in orderthat the fearof Him may remainwith you, so that you may not sin."

You drewnearwhenI calledon You; You said,"Do not fear!"
Then he saidto me, "Do not be afraid,Daniel,for from the firstdaythat you setyour hearton understanding[this] and on humblingyourself beforeyour God,your wordswere heard,and I have comein response to your words.
Thenthe kinggaveorders,and Danielwas broughtin and castinto the lions'den.The kingspokeand saidto Daniel,"Your Godwhomyou constantlyservewill Himselfdeliveryou."
And the LORD said,"Namehim Lo-ammi,for you are not My peopleand I am not your God."
Then Haggai,the messengerof the LORD,spokeby the commissionof the LORDto the peoplesaying,"'I am with you,' declaresthe LORD."
As for the promisewhichI madeyou when you cameout of Egypt,My Spiritis abidingin your midst;do not fear!'
"And I will strengthenthem in the LORD,And in His namethey will walk,"declaresthe LORD.
"I will strengthenthe houseof Judah,And I will savethe houseof Joseph,And I will bringthem back,BecauseI havehadcompassionon them; And they will be as thoughI had not rejectedthem, For I am the LORDtheir Godand I will answerthem.
"And I will bringthe thirdpartthrough the fire,Refinethem as silveris refined,And testthem as goldis tested.They will callon My name,And I will answerthem; I will say,They are My people,'And they will say,'The LORDis my God.'"
But the angelsaidto him, "Do not be afraid,Zacharias,for your petitionhas been heard,and your wifeElizabethwill bearyou a son,and you will givehim the nameJohn.
The angelsaidto her, "Do not be afraid,Mary;for you have foundfavorwith God.
Whatthenshall we sayto these things?IfGod[is] for us, who[is] againstus?
And He has saidto me, "My graceis sufficientfor you, for poweris perfectedin weakness."Most gladly,therefore,I will ratherboastaboutmy weaknesses,sothat the powerof Christmay dwellin me.
that He would grantyou, accordingto the richesof His glory,to be strengthenedwith powerthroughHis Spiritin the innerman,
"Whenyou goout to battleagainstyour enemiesand seehorsesand chariots[and] peoplemorenumerousthanyou, do not be afraidof them; for the LORDyour God,whobroughtyou up from the landof Egypt,is with you.
I can doall thingsthroughHim who strengthensme.
"Have I not commandedyou? Be strongand courageous!Do not trembleor be dismayed,for the LORDyour Godis with you whereveryou go."
But the LORDsaidto him, "SurelyI will be with you, and you shall defeatMidianas oneman."
