Then I will takeyou for My people,and I will be your God;and you shall knowthat I am the LORDyour God,who broughtyou out from underthe burdensof the Egyptians.
"Sojournin thislandand I will be with you and blessyou, for to you and to your descendantsI will givealltheselands,and I will establishthe oathwhichI sworeto your fatherAbraham.
And behold,the LORDstoodaboveit and said,"I am the LORD,the Godof your fatherAbrahamand the Godof Isaac;the landon whichyou lie,I will giveit to you and to your descendants.
Then a manof Godcamenearand spoketo the kingof Israeland said,"Thussaysthe LORD,'Becausethe Arameanshave said,"The LORDis a godof [the] mountains,but He is not a godof [the] valleys,"therefore I will giveallthisgreatmultitudeinto your hand,and you shall knowthat I am the LORD.'"
sothat allthe peoplesof the earthmay knowthat the LORDis God;thereis nooneelse.
"They are Your servantsand Your peoplewhomYou redeemedby Your greatpowerand by Your stronghand.
Knowthat the LORDHimselfis God;It is He who has madeus, and not we ourselves;[We are] His peopleand the sheepof His pasture.
"I relievedhis shoulderof the burden,His handswere freedfrom the basket.
"And it shall be whenyour sonasksyou in timeto come,saying,'Whatis this?'then you shall sayto him, 'With a powerfulhandthe LORDbroughtus out of Egypt,from the houseof slavery.
Mosessaidto the people,"Rememberthisdayin whichyou wentout from Egypt,from the houseof slavery;for by a powerfulhandthe LORDbroughtyou out from thisplace. And nothingleavenedshall be eaten.
"Then the Egyptianswill knowthat I am the LORD,when I am honoredthrough Pharaoh,through his chariotsand his horsemen."
"Thus I will hardenPharaoh'sheart,and he will chaseafterthem; and I will be honoredthrough Pharaohand allhis army,and the Egyptianswill knowthat I am the LORD."And they didso.
"Terrorand dreadfallupon them; By the greatnessof Your armthey are motionlessas stone;UntilYour peoplepassover,O LORD,Untilthe peoplepassoverwhomYou have purchased.
"The LORDis my strengthand song,And He has becomemy salvation;Thisis my God,and I will praiseHim; My father'sGod,and I will extolHim.
"I have heardthe grumblingsof the sonsof Israel;speakto them, saying,At twilightyou shall eatmeat,and in the morningyou shall be filledwith bread;and you shall knowthat I am the LORDyour God.'"
So Mosesand Aaronsaidto allthe sonsof Israel,"At eveningyou will knowthat the LORDhas broughtyou out of the landof Egypt;
Now it cameabout in thosedays,when Moseshad grownup, that he wentout to his brethrenand lookedon their hardlabors;and he sawan Egyptianbeatinga Hebrew,oneof his brethren.
"Say,therefore,to the sonsof Israel,I am the LORD,and I will bringyou out from underthe burdensof the Egyptians,and I will deliveryou from their bondage.I will also redeemyou with an outstretchedarmand with greatjudgments.
Thussaysthe LORD,"By thisyou shall knowthat I am the LORD:behold,I will strikethe waterthat is in the Nilewith the staffthat is in my hand,and it will be turnedto blood.
That they may seeand recognize,And considerand gaininsightas well,That the handof the LORDhas donethis,And the HolyOneof Israelhas createdit.
"Kingswill be your guardians,And their princessesyour nurses.They will bowdownto you with their facesto the earthAnd lickthe dustof your feet;And [you] will knowthat I am the LORD;Those whohopefullywaitfor Me will not be putto shame.
"I will feedyour oppressorswith their own flesh,And they will becomedrunkwith their own bloodas with sweetwine;And allfleshwill knowthat I, the LORD,am your SaviorAnd your Redeemer,the MightyOneof Jacob."
"For I am the LORDyour God,who stirsup the seaand its wavesroar(the LORDof hostsis His name).
"You will also suckthe milkof nationsAnd suckthe breastof kings;Then you will knowthat I, the LORD,am your SaviorAnd your Redeemer,the MightyOneof Jacob.
For He said,"Surely,they are My people,Sonswho will not dealfalsely."So He becametheir Savior.
You shall be My people,And I will be your God.'"
"But thisis the covenantwhichI will makewith the houseof Israelafterthosedays,"declaresthe LORD,"I will putMy lawwithinthem and on their heartI will writeit; and I will be their God,and they shall be My people.
I am the LORDyour God;walkin My statutesand keepMy ordinancesand observethem.
Yet the numberof the sonsof IsraelWill be like the sandof the sea,Whichcannotbe measuredor numbered;And in the placeWhereit is saidto them, "You are not My people,"It will be saidto them, "[You are] the sonsof the livingGod."
For I am the LORDyour God.Consecrateyourselves therefore, and be holy,for I am holy.And you shall not makeyourselvesuncleanwith anyof the swarmingthingsthat swarmon the earth.
For I am the LORDwho broughtyou up from the landof Egyptto be your God;thus you shall be holy,for I am holy.'"
"And I will bringthe thirdpartthrough the fire,Refinethem as silveris refined,And testthem as goldis tested.They will callon My name,And I will answerthem; I will say,They are My people,'And they will say,'The LORDis my God.'"
"I am the LORDyour Godwhobroughtyou out from the landof Egyptto be your God;I am the LORDyour God."
I AMTHE GODOF ABRAHAM,AND THE GODOF ISAAC,AND THE GODOF JACOB?He is not the Godof the deadbut of the living."
Whatthenshall we sayto these things?IfGod[is] for us, who[is] againstus?
"For you are a holypeopleto the LORDyour God,and the LORDhas chosenyou to be a peoplefor His own possessionout of allthe peopleswhoare on the faceof the earth.
"The LORDhas todaydeclaredyou to be His people,a treasuredpossession,as He promisedyou, and that you should keepallHis commandments;
that you may enterinto the covenantwith the LORDyour God,and into His oathwhichthe LORDyour Godis makingwith you today,
in orderthat He may establishyou todayas His peopleand that He may be your God,justas He spoketo you and as He sworeto your fathers,to Abraham,Isaac,and Jacob.
"I have ledyou fortyyearsin the wilderness;your clotheshave not wornout on you, and your sandalhas not wornout on your foot.
"But the LORDhas takenyou and broughtyou out of the ironfurnace,from Egypt,to be a peoplefor His own possession,as today.
"For you are a holypeopleto the LORDyour God;the LORDyour Godhas chosenyou to be a peoplefor His own possessionout of allthe peopleswhoare on the faceof the earth.
But as it is, they desirea better[country], that is, a heavenly one.ThereforeGodis not ashamedto be calledtheir God;for He has prepareda cityfor them.
for you oncewere NOT A PEOPLE,but nowyou are THE PEOPLEOF GOD;you had NOT RECEIVEDMERCY,but nowyou have RECEIVED MERCY.
And I hearda loudvoicefrom the throne,saying,"Behold,the tabernacleof Godis amongmen,and He will dwellamongthem, and they shall be His people,and GodHimselfwill be amongthem,
"He who overcomeswill inheritthese things,and I will be his Godand he will be My son.
