"The LORDwill bringa nationagainstyou from afar,from the endof the earth,as the eagleswoopsdown,a nationwhoselanguageyou shall not understand,
"Come,let Us godownand thereconfusetheir language,sothat they will not understandoneanother'sspeech."
He establishedit for a testimonyin JosephWhen he wentthroughoutthe landof Egypt.I hearda languagethat I did not know:
The wayof an eaglein the sky,The wayof a serpenton a rock,The wayof a shipin the middleof the sea,And the wayof a manwith a maid.
You will nolonger seea fiercepeople,A peopleof unintelligiblespeechwhich noone comprehends,Of a stammeringtonguewhich nooneunderstands.
Then Isaiahthe prophetcameto KingHezekiahand saidto him, "Whatdid thesemensay,and from wherehave they cometo you?" And Hezekiahsaid,"They have cometo me from a farcountry,from Babylon."
In that daythe LORDwill whistlefor the flythat is in the remotestpartof the riversof Egyptand for the beethat is in the landof Assyria.
"Behold,he goesup like clouds,And his chariotslike the whirlwind;His horsesare swifterthaneagles.Woeto us, for we are ruined!"
For thussaysthe LORD:"Behold,one will flyswiftlylike an eagleAnd spreadout his wingsagainstMoab.
Behold,He will mountup and swooplike an eagleand spreadout His wingsagainstBozrah;and the heartsof the mightymenof Edomin that daywill be like the heartof a womanin labor.
Our pursuerswere swifterThanthe eaglesof the sky;They chasedus on the mountains,They waitedin ambushfor us in the wilderness.
"And I will bringyou out of the midstof the city and deliveryou into the handsof strangersand executejudgmentsagainst you.
"Saynowto the rebellioushouse,Do you not knowwhatthesethings[mean]?' Say,'Behold,the kingof Babyloncameto Jerusalem,tookits kingand princesand broughtthem to him in Babylon.
saying,'Thussaysthe LordGOD,"A greateaglewith greatwings,longpinionsand a fullplumageof manycolorscameto Lebanonand tookaway the topof the cedar.
norto manypeoplesof unintelligiblespeechor difficultlanguage,whosewordsyou cannotunderstand.But I have sentyou to them who should listento you;
"The first[was] like a lionand had [the] wingsof an eagle.I keptlookinguntilits wingswere plucked,and it was liftedup from the groundand madeto standon two feetlike a man;a humanmindalso was givento it.
"Then afterthe sixty-twoweeksthe Messiahwill be cutoffand havenothing,and the peopleof the princewho is to comewill destroythe cityand the sanctuary.And its end[will come] with a flood;even to the endthere will be war;desolationsare determined.
[Put] the trumpetto your lips!Like an eagle[the enemy comes] againstthe houseof the LORD,Becausethey have transgressedMy covenantAnd rebelledagainstMy law.
"But ships[shall come] from the coastof Kittim,And they shall afflictAsshurand will afflictEber;So they also[will come] to destruction."

In the Lawit is written,"BY MEN OF STRANGE TONGUESAND BY THE LIPSOF STRANGERSI WILL SPEAKTO THISPEOPLE,AND EVENSOTHEY WILL NOT LISTENTO ME," saysthe Lord.
