I will abandonthe remnantof My inheritanceand deliverthem into the handof their enemies,and they will becomeas plunderand spoilto alltheir enemies;
Moreover,Manassehshedverymuchinnocentblooduntilhe had filledJerusalemfrom oneendto another;besideshis sinwith whichhe made Judahsin,in doingevilin the sightof the LORD.
The earthis also pollutedby its inhabitants,for they transgressedlaws,violatedstatutes,brokethe everlastingcovenant.
"I will makethem an objectof horroramong allthe kingdomsof the earthbecauseof Manasseh,the sonof Hezekiah,the kingof Judah,for whathe didin Jerusalem.
"Yet you have not listenedto Me," declaresthe LORD,"in orderthat you might provokeMe to angerwith the workof your handsto your own harm.
Her adversarieshave becomeher masters,Her enemiesprosper;For the LORDhas causedher griefBecauseof the multitudeof her transgressions;Her littleoneshave goneaway As captivesbeforethe adversary.

"But the childrenrebelledagainst Me; they did not walkin My statutes,norwere they carefulto observeMy ordinances,by which,[if] a manobservesthem, he will live;they profanedMy sabbaths.So I resolvedto pourout My wrathon them, to accomplishMy angeragainst them in the wilderness.
"Therefore,sayto the houseof Israel,'Thussaysthe LordGOD,"Will you defileyourselves after the mannerof your fathersand playthe harlotaftertheir detestablethings?
"Will you judgethem, will you judgethem, sonof man?Make them knowthe abominationsof their fathers;
and they playedthe harlotin Egypt.They playedthe harlotin their youth;theretheir breastswere pressedand theretheir virginbosomwas handled.
"And now,O Lordour God,whohave broughtYour peopleout of the landof Egyptwith a mightyhandand have madea namefor Yourself, as it is thisday--we have sinned,we have beenwicked.
"For I knowyour rebellionand your stubbornness;behold,while I am stillalivewith you today,you have beenrebelliousagainstthe LORD;howmuchmore,then, aftermy death?
"For I knowthat aftermy deathyou will actcorruptlyand turnfrom the waywhichI have commandedyou; and evilwill befallyou in the latterdays,for you will dothat whichis evilin the sightof the LORD,provokingHim to angerwith the workof your hands."
