² H559Therefore thus saith[H8804] H3068the LORDH430GodH3478of IsraelH7462against the pastors[H8802] H7462that feed[H8802] H5971my peopleH6327; Ye have scattered[H8689] H6629my flockH5080, and driven them away[H8686] H6485, and have not visited[H8804] H6485them: behold, I will visit[H8802] H7455upon you the evilH4611of your doingsH5002, saith[H8803] H3068the LORD.

³ H6908And I will gather[H8762] H7611the remnantH6629of my flockH776out of all countriesH5080whither I have driven[H8689] H7725them, and will bring them again[H8689] H5116to their foldsH6509; and they shall be fruitful[H8804] H7235and increase[H8804] .

⁴ H6965And I will set up[H8689] H7462shepherds[H8802] H7462over them which shall feed[H8804] H3372them: and they shall fear[H8799] H2865no more, nor be dismayed[H8735] H6485, neither shall they be lacking[H8735] H5002, saith[H8803] H3068the LORD.

⁶ H3117In his daysH3063JudahH3467shall be saved[H8735] H3478, and IsraelH7931shall dwell[H8799] H983safelyH8034: and this is his nameH7121whereby he shall be called[H8799] H3072, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

¹⁰ H776For the landH4390is full[H8804] H5003of adulterers[H8764] H6440; for becauseH423of swearingH776the landH56mourneth[H8804] H4999; the pleasant placesH4057of the wildernessH3001are dried up[H8804] H4794, and their courseH7451is evilH1369, and their force is not right.

¹¹ H5030For both prophetH3548and priestH2610are profane[H8804] H1004; yea, in my houseH4672have I found[H8804] H7451their wickednessH5002, saith[H8803] H3068the LORD.

²² H5975But if they had stood[H8804] H5475in my counselH5971, and had caused my peopleH8085to hear[H8686] H1697my wordsH7725, then they should have turned[H8686] H7451them from their evilH1870wayH7455, and from the evilH4611of their doings.

²⁸ H5030The prophetH2472that hath a dreamH5608, let him tell[H8762] H2472a dreamH1697; and he that hath my wordH1696, let him speak[H8762] H1697my wordH571faithfullyH8401. What is the chaffH1250to the wheatH5002? saith[H8803] H3068the LORD.

²⁹ H1697Is not my wordH3541likeH784as a fireH5002? saith[H8803] H3068the LORDH6360; and like a hammerH6327that breakethH5553the rockH6327in pieces[H8787] ?

³⁰ H5030Therefore, behold, I am against the prophetsH5002, saith[H8803] H3068the LORDH1589, that steal[H8764] H1697my wordsH376every oneH7453from his neighbour.

³¹ H5030Behold, I am against the prophetsH5002, saith[H8803] H3068the LORDH3947, that use[H8802] H3956their tonguesH5001, and say[H8799] H5002, He saith[H8803] .

³² H5012Behold, I am against them that prophesy[H8737] H8267falseH2472dreamsH5002, saith[H8803] H3068the LORDH5608, and do tell[H8762] H5971them, and cause my peopleH8582to err[H8686] H8267by their liesH6350, and by their lightnessH7971; yet I sent[H8804] H6680them not, nor commanded[H8765] H3276them: therefore they shall not profit[H8686] H5971this peopleH3276at all[H8687] H5002, saith[H8803] H3068the LORD.

³³ H5971And when this peopleH5030, or the prophetH3548, or a priestH7592, shall ask[H8799] H559thee, saying[H8800] H4853, What is the burdenH3068of the LORDH559? thou shalt then say[H8804] H4853unto them, What burdenH5203? I will even forsake[H8804] H5002you, saith[H8803] H3068the LORD.

³⁴ H5030And as for the prophetH3548, and the priestH5971, and the peopleH559, that shall say[H8799] H4853, The burdenH3068of the LORDH6485, I will even punish[H8804] H376that manH1004and his house.

³⁵ H559Thus shall ye say[H8799] H376every oneH7453to his neighbourH376, and every oneH251to his brotherH3068, What hath the LORDH6030answered[H8804] H3068? and, What hath the LORDH1696spoken[H8765] ?

³⁶ H4853And the burdenH3068of the LORDH2142shall ye mention[H8799] H376no more: for every man'sH1697wordH4853shall be his burdenH2015; for ye have perverted[H8804] H1697the wordsH2416of the livingH430GodH3068, of the LORDH6635of hostsH430our God.

³⁷ H559Thus shalt thou say[H8799] H5030to the prophetH3068, What hath the LORDH6030answered[H8804] H3068thee? and, What hath the LORDH1696spoken[H8765] ?

³⁸ H518ButH559since ye say[H8799] H4853, The burdenH3068of the LORDH559; therefore thus saith[H8804] H3068the LORDH559; Because ye say[H8800] H1697this wordH4853, The burdenH3068of the LORDH7971, and I have sent[H8799] H559unto you, saying[H8800] H559, Ye shall not say[H8799] H4853, The burdenH3068of the LORD;

³⁹ H5377Therefore, behold, I, even I, will utterly[H8800] H5382forget[H8804] H5203you, and I will forsake[H8804] H5892you, and the cityH5414that I gave[H8804] H1you and your fathersH6440, and cast you out of my presence:

⁴⁰ H5414And I will bring[H8804] H5769an everlastingH2781reproachH5769upon you, and a perpetualH3640shameH7911, which shall not be forgotten[H8735] .
