H6662The righteousH6perisheth[H8804] H376, and no manH7760layeth[H8802] H3820it to heartH2617: and mercifulH582menH622are taken away[H8737] H995, none considering[H8688] H6662that the righteousH622is taken away[H8738] H6440fromH7451the evil to come .

H935He shall enter[H8799] H7965into peaceH5117: they shall rest[H8799] H4904in their bedsH1980, each one walking[H8802] H5228in his uprightness.

H7126But draw near[H8798] H1121hither, ye sonsH6049of the sorceress[H8781] H2233, the seedH5003of the adulterer[H8764] H2181and the whore[H8799] .

H6026Against whom do ye sport[H8691] H7337yourselves? against whom make ye a wide[H8686] H6310mouthH748, and draw out[H8686] H3956the tongueH3206? are ye not childrenH6588of transgressionH2233, a seedH8267of falsehood,

H2552Enflaming[H8737] H410yourselves with idolsH7488under every greenH6086treeH7819, slaying[H8802] H3206the childrenH5158in the valleysH5585under the cliftsH5553of the rocks?

H2511Among the smoothH5158stones of the streamH2506is thy portionH1486; they, they are thy lotH8210: even to them hast thou poured[H8804] H5262a drink offeringH5927, thou hast offered[H8689] H4503a meat offeringH5162. Should I receive comfort[H8735]  in these?

H1364Upon a loftyH5375and high[H8737] H2022mountainH7760hast thou set[H8804] H4904thy bedH5927: even thither wentest thou up[H8804] H2076to offer[H8800] H2077sacrifice.

H310BehindH1817the doorsH4201also and the postsH7760hast thou set up[H8804] H2146thy remembranceH1540: for thou hast discovered[H8765] H5927thyself to another than me, and art gone up[H8799] H7337; thou hast enlarged[H8689] H4904thy bedH3772, and made[H8799] H157thee a covenant with them; thou lovedst[H8804] H4904their bedH3027whereH2372thou sawest[H8804]  it .

H7788And thou wentest[H8799] H4428to the kingH8081with ointmentH7235, and didst increase[H8686] H7547thy perfumesH7971, and didst send[H8762] H6735thy messengersH7350far offH8213, and didst debase[H8686] H7585thyself even unto hell.

H3021Thou art wearied[H8804] H7230in the greatnessH1870of thy wayH559; yet saidst[H8804] H2976thou not, There is no hope[H8737] H4672: thou hast found[H8804] H2416the lifeH3027of thine handH2470; therefore thou wast not grieved[H8804] .

H1672And of whom hast thou been afraid[H8804] H3372or feared[H8799] H3576, that thou hast lied[H8762] H2142, and hast not remembered[H8804] H7760me, nor laid[H8804] H3820it to thy heartH2814? have not I held my peace[H8688] H5769even of oldH3372, and thou fearest[H8799]  me not?

H5046I will declare[H8686] H6666thy righteousnessH4639, and thy worksH3276; for they shall not profit[H8686]  thee.

H2199When thou criest[H8800] H6899, let thy companiesH5337deliver[H8686] H7307thee; but the windH5375shall carry them all away[H8799] H1892; vanityH3947shall take[H8799] H2620them : but he that putteth his trust[H8802] H5157in me shall possess[H8799] H776the landH3423, and shall inherit[H8799] H6944my holyH2022mountain;

H559And shall say[H8804] H5549, Cast ye up[H8798] H5549, cast ye up[H8798] H6437, prepare[H8761] H1870the wayH7311, take up[H8685] H4383the stumblingblockH1870out of the wayH5971of my people.

H559For thus saith[H8804] H7311the high[H8802] H5375and lofty One[H8737] H7931that inhabiteth[H8802] H5703eternityH8034, whose nameH6918is HolyH7931; I dwell[H8799] H4791in the highH6918and holyH1793place, with him also that is of a contriteH8217and humbleH7307spiritH2421, to revive[H8687] H7307the spiritH8217of the humbleH2421, and to revive[H8687] H3820the heartH1792of the contrite ones[H8737] .

H7378For I will not contend[H8799] H5769for everH5331, neither will I be alwaysH7107wroth[H8799] H7307: for the spiritH5848should fail[H8799] H6440beforeH5397me, and the soulsH6213which I have made[H8804] .

H5771For the iniquityH1215of his covetousnessH7107was I wroth[H8804] H5221, and smote[H8686] H5641him: I hid[H8687] H7107me, and was wroth[H8799] H3212, and he went on[H8799] H7726frowardlyH1870in the wayH3820of his heart.

H7200I have seen[H8804] H1870his waysH7495, and will heal[H8799] H5148him: I will lead[H8686] H7999him also, and restore[H8762] H5150comfortsH57unto him and to his mourners.

H1254I create[H8802] H5108the fruitH8193of the lipsH7965; PeaceH7965, peaceH7350to him that is far offH7138, and to him that is nearH559, saith[H8804] H3068the LORDH7495; and I will heal[H8804]  him.

H7563But the wickedH1644are like the troubled[H8737] H3220seaH3201, when it cannot[H8799] H8252rest[H8687] H4325, whose watersH1644cast up[H8799] H7516mireH2916and dirt.

H7965There is no peaceH559, saith[H8804] H430my GodH7563, to the wicked.
