God, you say bitter things against me.\par Are you making me suffer\par for the sins I did when I was young.\par


When he was young his bones were strong,\par but, like the rest of his body,\par they soon will lie in the dirt.\par


People who obey God’s commands are happy.\par Those people do good things all the time.\par


Lord, remember me when you are kind\par to your people.\par Remember to save me, too!\par


I hope the Lord is reminded of the sins\par of my enemy’s father.\par And I hope his mother’s sins\par are never erased.\par


Why? Because that evil man\par never did anything good.\par He never loved anyone\par He made life hard for poor, helpless people.\par


Lord my God, help me!\par Show your true love and save me!\par


I am your servant.\par Show your true love to me.\par Teach me your laws.\par
